Ways To Support Local Businesses Posted In light of the new mandates related to COVID-19, the Lancaster City Alliance has suggested several ways that community members can help local businesses. Community members may order takeout or delivery from an area restaurant or enjoy a meal at an outdoor venue. People may find lists of restaurants and stay up-todate on how they have

adapted to keep customers safe by visiting www.lancaster cityrestaurantweek.com, visiting www.visitlancaster city.com and clicking on “Wine & Dine,” or visiting www.figlancaster.com and clicking on “Articles” and then “Support Lancaster City Restaurants.” Families might consider ordering takeout and eating their food in the car while driving around and

looking at Christmas lights. People might purchase gift cards or local swag to give as holiday gifts. Shopping guides are available by visiting www.visitlancastercity.com and clicking on “Shopping,” visiting www.figlancaster.com and selecting “Fig 2020 Local Gift Guide,” and visiting www.lancindieretail.com. People might also buy treats and make a social distanced

delivery to friends. The Lancaster City Alliance encourages customers supporting local businesses to share about it on social media and ask others to do the same. People who know owners of small businesses may ask them how supporters can help. For more information about the Lancaster City Alliance, readers may visit www.lancastercityalliance.org.
