Atglen Community Day from pg 1 The church deacons will sell baked goods and mums. Chicken barbecue will be offered for sale along with sausage sandwiches, hamburgers, hot dogs, hand-cut french fries and ice cream. The ninth annual car show, which will benefit APL, will be held this year as usual. Vehicles will be parked along Ridge Avenue from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Vehicle owners may register on the day of the show or in advance by calling
APL at 610-593-6848. Dash plaques and goodie bags will be given to the first 25 paid registrants. People’s Choice trophies will be awarded to firstand second-place winners. Before the Community Day festivities start, a Family Fun Walk/Run will be held, sponsored by the Atglen Park and Recreation Commission.
