DEAR THEATREGOERS, What a wonderful summer it has been with and as we wave goodbye to another season, we say hello to our best yet as we proudly present our brand-new Sep – Mar ’18 brochure.

– 13th October. The 60th anniversary show is one of the highlights of our new season and will feature a live musical score. Something About Simon makes it’s stage debut on 6th November, telling the unique story of Paul Simon through visuals, stage design and music.

It all begins on 6th September with our strongest comedy line up yet and Tom Allen’s brand new sold out show. You’ll be rolling in the aisles all season as Phill Jupitus joins us on 30th October and Rich Hall on 15th November.

We never forget about the little ones here at the Epstein and our legendary Christmas pantomime is back as LHK Productions presents Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs from 7th December – 2nd January.

There’s nothing better than a night of dancing in your seat and 19th October sees Ultimate Bowie pay homage to the Star Man, David Bowie. Prepare to be all shook up when The Spirit of Elvis returns on 30th November after it’s sold out show in March and as if that wasn’t enough, Best of Wham is back on 1st February due to huge demand!

He was slowly being pulled off the mountain face by his injured partner, Joe Simpson, dangling on the rope 50 metres below. His decision to cut the rope saved both their lives in the epic of survival that followed and with the publication of the book ‘Touching The Void’ and the later film, both climbers became household names. Come along and witness Simon’s tireless journey from that mountain in Peru to some of the remotest on the planet and share with him the drama, excitement and beauty of modern, lightweight alpinism. Later, Bob Paisley – Liverpool’s most successful manager – decided to sign him as a replacement for the great Ray Clemence. Grobbelaar spent nearly 15 seasons at Anfield where he won 19 medals. For more than sixteen years Southall kept goal for Everton and Wales, becoming his club and country’s greatest servant, as well as Everton’s most decorated player. Uncompromising, unorthodox and often unkempt, Southall’s career followed an incredible trajectory: from football-mad binman, to the greatest goalkeeper in the world in the space of a few years.
