“We’ve used Udder Comfort™ for 5 years. We especially like it on first-calf heifers, so they come into milk with lower cell counts,” says 3rd generation dairyman Rick Stocker. He and Ann operate Stocker Dairy Farm, Jordan, Minnesota. Executive Secretary This position is a full time position that requires the individual to work out of their home. Minnesota Holstein Association The MHA consists of 850 members and is open to all persons interested in Holstein cattle. The mission of the Minnesota Holstein Association is, “To enhance the lives and profitability of all dairy producers and enthusiasts by providing opportunities for education, marketing, recognition and socialization.” Brief Description of Duties • Manage association memberships and renewals • Work closely with the board of directors and attend numerous board and committee meetings • Create advertisement layouts with members and prepare for graphic artist • Manage and promote two annual cattle sales • Plan and organize annual seminars, shows and conventions • Design, update and manage association website • Prepare, update, and monitor association financials • Coordinate and publish the quarterly publication of the association, the Minnesota Holstein News Requirements & Qualifications Required skills include: • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher • Ability to work in Quickbooks Financials • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to travel to various events throughout the state and the year Preferred skills include: • General knowledge of the dairy industry • Ability to work in Indesign, Photoshop & Dreamweaver
