Dolce & Gabbana’s collection which was themed
“Queen of Hearts”, the spotlight was clearly a feast of food prints and accessories. The eggplants, carrots, oranges and cabbages which you find at a market inspired the oversize print that decorated fit and flare dresses and midriff baring bra tops and full skirts. Their outfits were covered with different prints of cabbages, snap peas, cookies, soup cans and cannolis, with accessories like eggplant and carrot earrings. Even the bags were food themed and contained a healthy bunch of greens.

“Watermelon prints are very summery and brings that zest and a fun element to the entire look. These prints along with other tropical prints are just a perfect look for summer. The idea behind this look is to keep it very casual, sporting a very bright uber street style summer look. Food themed fashion on clothes is currently a very trendy unisex fashion and it is definitely here to stay for longer.”

“Fashion and food always go together. Prints always depict one’s mood. Over here me wearing a popcorn printed shimmer tee signifies- Casual but Fancy. The same way a lot of dresses have cute avocado prints on them, berry prints have always been there. For casual cool summer dresses watermelon print has always been really chic. How can we forget Coca Cola printed tees that signify vintage style!”

“They say “You are what you wear”” well I am definitely nothing like the fruits that I am wearing, but my personality hits every letter of it. COLOURFUL- both, my life as well as my charm. The reason why I am wearing this outfit, is because I am more inclined towards trying experimental things, and I feel food prints can never run out of fashion!”

“I am not a foodie but I still like food inspired fashion majorly for its relatability. Imagine walking down the road and someone says, hey us that a Nutella print. For me, these are also more of a conversation starter. Sometimes these are nicer to wear compared to the regular prints as well, solely for the fact that it is unique in its own way!”

“Summer is here and halter necks have always been in fashion, I wanted to wear something really cute as well as much in trend so I went with this super cute strawberry halter neck top, I thought why not pair it up with a red skirt to match those strawberries. Anything floral and printed are go to summer outfits so I chose this outfit.”

“I bought this sweatshirt from H&M where I was in the whole phase of wearing cute food inspired Outfits. This Pepsi one looked super cool with blue denims, I love how so many new clothing brands get inspired by their favourite food items. The recent one I fell in love with was Cheetos inspired clothes. Since I am a foodie and a fashion blogger, I did both here”

It’s a super chill casual yet cool look. Also, these days it’s trendy to be a walking ad of your favourite soft drink, you might see a lot of people in these Coca-Cola/Pepsi tees which are vintage and young millennials love to express their liking and choices through their clothing!”
