““The best part about Food blogging in Hyderabad is the people. The audience we have in our city is extremely friendly and almost everyone living in Hyderabad is crazy about food.

Same goes for the restaurant owners in the city who are passionate in preparing new dishes and reinvigorating taste.

The love our people give us is outstanding.

Hyderabad is a great place if you are a food lover. You can fi nd almost every cuisine here and at aff ordable rates to compared to other cities.

While Irani Chai and Biryani put Hyderabad on the Global map, the hidden gems like Nahari, Kababs and Cheese Dosas keep us locals busy!! Also it is interesting that Hyderabadis create their own version of every dish - You have Hyderabadi Pizza (available in every bakery), Hyderabadi Shawarma, and now Hyderabadi Chinese food as well!”“bakery), Hyderabadi Shawarma, and now Hyderabadi Chinese food as well!”

Javed Mohammed (@thefoodglanzer)

““The term blog was coined when writers started posting their journals on the internet. When the foodies joined this bandwagon, they were termed food bloggers. Unfortunately, this term has become the primary title of anyone who writes, clicks, or posts about food. I never liked being called a food blogger, because fi rst of all, I don’t have a blog. Second, my love and passion for food doesn’t fi t in the title. I am just a foodie and it encompasses much more than blogging, clicking, and posting. My passion is not limited to food. I am a lover of food and the culture of Hyderabad. Hyderabad has a rich heritage and a diverse culture. That’s what makes me love what I do. Living this beautiful culture and exploring its great food is my passion. The mighty Hyderabadi Biryani, the beautiful South Indian breakfast, and the never-ending streetside mouth waterers strike a connection with people they cannot get rid of, and if you visit Hyderabad in the holy month of Ramzan, it’s like love at fi rst sight! My journey of food started way before social media was born. Going around fi nding new things to eat was my favorite pastime as a teenager. Living in Secunderabad and going all the way to Charminar just to have Irani Chai at Shehran hotel was a norm back then. From Irani cafes, roadside kebab stalls to today’s vibrant fi ne dine industry, I have seen Hyderabad’s food culture evolve multiple times. And it has grown “ the fastest in the last 10 years. From the rise of Chinese cuisine to the invasion of Western QSR brands, to the popularity of Arabian cuisine, I have adapted to all the new forms of the city’s food scene. But my heart lies in my roots. My fi rst love is and will always be Hyderabadi food. The most beautiful thing about Hyderabadi cuisine is adaptability. We embrace food from any part of the world and make it our own by adding our fl avours to it. The most popular dishes of Hyderabad like Biryani, Haleem, and Chai were brought from Iran and Arab but were decorated with Hyderabadi fl avours and presented in Hyderabadi style which gave these foreign dishes the stardom they never got in their hometown. That’s about my love for Hyderabadi food and its great culture. No matter how fast the technology grows and regardless of how the pandemic changes the world, the spirit of adaptability, hospitality, and the language of love in food will always keep Hyderabad bustling with people. “Mere Sheher Ku Logaan Suun Mamoor Kar, Rakhya Jyun Tu Dariya Me Mann Ya Samee”. Fill my city with people, just like you’ve fi lled the ocean with fi sh, O Almighty Apparent and obvious, this couplet by the founder of Hyderabad Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutub Shah is the force behind the ever shining and undying spirit of Hyderabad.”

“The Gastronomical Aff air is the result of 2 passion driven Speech therapists who came together, thanks to our love for food. Setting out to explore, what the world has to off er. My food blogging journey started in 2012 in Mumbai where I wrote about my food experiences on Burrp and Zomato. My blog partner Yaashna Rajani, and I setup the Gastronomical Aff air in 2014 on Instagram and also wrote blogs on our website back then.

Being born and brought up in Mumbai, my taste buds were accustomed to the coastal fl avours. However, in 2018, I got married and moved to Hyderabad but the Mumbaikar in me could never understand the Biryani craze that these Hyderabadis had. It took me a while to fi t in, but, after exploring various types of Biryanis, it ended up growing on me. And today I do consider myself to be a true Hyderabadi.”

““Having spent over ten years being a food blogger in various cities around the country, I can proudly say that I found Hyderabad to be my true calling. Be it the cultural heritage or a kind, embracing community, the city truly has been promising for me since day one. From starting my Instagram page here in this city to meeting accomplished business owners and culinary enthusiasts, overall it was a wonderful opportunity to learn from some incredible sources. And it’s not just about the people! The food in the city is an eclectic melting pot of regional infl uences from neighbouring states while having a royal Nizami lineage from the older times.

Being in the business of exploring the past of such dishes and bringing in that fresh perspective of their origin, I truly have the ride of my life when rediscovering those delicious

Shikampuri kebabs and the exotic Nihari Paya on the bustling streets of Charminar.

With an unprecedented surge in new restaurants, pubs, and cafés popping up, the city of Nizams is slowly getting on competing grounds with food capitals of the country like

Delhi and Mumbai which also makes it the perfect time to test the waters. Exploring new places and garnering insights about the diverse cuisines on off er has never been easier which truly makes the place worthwhile for bloggers like me!”

Sanchay Gumidelli (@hyderabad foodexplorer)

““Why I like being a food blogger from Hyderabad? When I fi rst thought I’d get into food blogging, it was because of my background, I am a culinary graduate so that was the fi rst major point to get into this fi eld. Though it’s not a Full time thing I give it a lot of time to explore, know about food, photography etc.

The best part about the Hyderabad food community is the bonding we have, it’s much more than meeting over food, giving a constructive feedback to the restaurant but more about sharing knowledge and getting ourselves better too.

To be frank there’s no hatred kind of feeling in most of the bloggers here, everyone has their own identity and style of work.

My major goal has always been to provide a fair constructive feedback to a restaurant, be it good or bad, but eventually that’s how they get to know where they’ve got to improve.

I always strive on this point to every restaurant, treat everyone equally, every customer is a infl uencer , every positive word of mouth is a form of positive marketing. Providing top quality food only when infl uencers or bloggers come in and then serving something else to your potential customers wouldn’t help you in a longer run.”

Vasanthi Singampalli (@tastydrips)

““Hyderabad has been considered as the best city to live in India, according to the Times Of India. They say once a Hyderabadi always a Hyderabadi! You fall in love with this place once you start living here and it’s almost diffi cult to leave, and even if you do, you’re defi nitely bound to come back, as if it’s magnetic! I am a huge food fanatic, involving myself in exploring new places and try a lot of dishes. Being a food lover, I fi nd Hyderabad as one of the best places to blog in. One of the biggest factors that give a city its identity is its cuisine, and Hyderabad has a pretty evolved one. Its cuisine has been heavily infl uenced by its time under various Muslim sultanates, and its fl agship dish is unarguably the Hyderabadi biryani. The city has even more cuisines to off er, such as North Indian, Italian, Pan-Asian, Turkish, South Indian cuisine and even more. Swanky restaurants, delicious street food, and experimental dishes in quirky settings all contribute to Hyderabad’s constantly evolving, global cuisine.

“We may still not have the geo-tagging for biryani, but we are the city known for the best grub in the country. From a high tea for around Rs 4,000 upwards at Taj Falaknuma to a cutting chai for Rs 4, everything in between is available in the city. Surprisingly, even the latter is tasty and fulfi lling. That’s to say you can get a traditional full English Breakfast as well- just head to a cafe or gastro-pub for your taste of British cuisine. Also, Hyderabad’s nightlife is super exciting, with the best nightclub and pubs in the city. Alright, fi ne! We were a little late to the microbrewery party! A lot of other cities did get their microbreweries up and running ages ago. And yet, like everything else, we make our mark even if we are late. They popped up like mushrooms in the city and are thriving with the love that Hyderabadis have showered over brewed beer. I am exploring diff erent restaurants or food joints in Hyderabad and showcasing them on my page. You can take a look and get to know about great places to eat in Hyderabad.”

Sneha Pujari (@guzzle withsneha)

““If you ask me that one thing which can set up my mood and cheer me up is food. I began this journey in 2019 when I was graduate student and you know how college life is, not even a single day we missed bunking classes to go eat something. That’s when I was encouraged and infl uenced by my friends to start blogging. In the beginning I was very skeptical about the whole idea.

Being a food blogger in Hyderabad you get to try and explore wide range of food from diff erent cuisine. Hyderabad is a food-hub off ering everything from a basic street food to high class fancy food experience. Although

Hyderabad has a lot of food to off er be it

Asian, Chinese, continental, North Indian etc but the authentic Hyderabadi food always stands out. Hyderabadi food is rich and exotic and has a combination of Arabic, Mughal and

Turkish cuisines. From biryani to kebabs to sweet dishes, the royal Hyderabadi cuisine has it all. You can’t talk about biryanis without mentioning the Hyderabadi Biryani. Cooked with either mutton or chicken, this recipe is the stairway to heaven. Believe it or not, this dish is such a favourite that people don’t mind having it for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I can’t name it all but Hyderabadi food no doubt can win anyone’s heart.”

Ritwika Nandini Dash (@rasgulla___)

““I am a drug safety specialist by profession and a digital creator by passion who is a big time foodie!

Food is an art and I want to be an artist by knowing more and more about it, so I keep on exploring all the options in town. Let it be any new cuisine, dish, place, or an old age lost dish/ recipe, I love trying it out and writing about it on Instagram to let the people in town know about it. ‘Hyderabad’, the gastronomical city, where all the foodies dwell have always been very supportive and have encouraged me for writing and sharing more on food by showering their immense love through many means. This city, every single day off ers new places to explore, and that is what keeps me excited. The exploration options are vast in both the twin cities, and its been almost 2 years & I am still not done exploring them.”“

Durfshan Wani (@cent_ percent_foodie)

““The content of a blog determines how a blogger delivers value to the audience! I would say I am lucky to be exploring food in Hyderabad because the city gives you a huge platform. Not only does it give me an opportunity to explore and promote food from diff erent regions, it also hosts a large number of events, awards, features that give me and other enthusiasts a sense of encouragement to continue doing more. The city has a lot to off er from thousands of restaurants, gastropubs, roof top eateries to themed cafes and clubs. Adding to this, the historic monuments, archeological ruins, tombs & forts make it all even more magical! The fl avoursome Hyderabadi cuisine, the tender meaty dishes, options for food from all over the globe, the culture and the heritage; Hyderabad has it all!”

Syed Aamir Ahmed (@aamir_ foodietraveler)

““Food blogging in Hyderabad is even more interesting as Hyderabad is known for its Traditional and landmark dish Biryani and here every Restaurant has its own style of Biryani . Apart from Hyderabadi and Mughlai Cuisine Hyderabad always welcomes New cuisines and Restaurants And also the best part is covering the street food at Old city and around Charminar , there are many hidden gems Food blogging in Hyderabad is diff erent unlike other cities because here we have Bloggers from all across India , and Restaurants here welcome everyone irrespective of there city . Day by day there are new Bloggers and new talent coming up so it becomes even more challenging to present the Food posts ( photography + content) in a unique way . I started my YouTube Channel ( Aamir Thefoodietraveler) where I make Vlogs on restaurants reviews and a few dishes me and my wife cook at home. Giving it a Hyderabadi touch by making the videos in Authentic Hyderabadi Hindi my channel reached 40,000+ Subscribers in just 15 months were people enjoyed the audio and Got to know about new places in Hyderabad. As the digital marketing is trending now, the street food vendors are encouraging Bloggers to promote their business. So if people with genuine love for food want to make there passion for blogging then Hyderabad city is always there to welcome you.”

““I want to start saying that ‘I AM NOT A FOOD

BLOGGER’ yes you read that right.

I don’t call myself a blogger, I am a food critic I write reviews, share feedbacks to the management and recommend places to my audience.

Hyderabad is a growing platform for food trends and people are ready to adapt. Hyderabad is a place where you fi nd tons of spices in every dish, even in CHAI.

However when it comes to Hyderabad, Biryani is what comes in one’s mind, no matter what the occasion is.

People here love to eat and they’re proud of it, not only Hyderabadi food but also south Indian.

Talking about food, the best time to explore and experience food in Hyderabad is in the month of

Ramadan. Charminar and other areas in old city are fi lled with street food and Dessert. You name it and they have it!

Starting from Chai, Snacks, Maincourse and Desserts. People here wait for Ramadan only to have Haleem and not to forget the Pathar Ka Ghosht, Maragh, Tala Hua Gosh and the list goes on. The best way to experience the food here is to visit Hyderabad in Ramadan and taste it yourself. There’s just never ending love for Food here.”“

Deepak Belel (@food engineeringg)

Shreshth Malhotra (@thenomadic foodgrammar)

““Being a big time foodie, I really like the fact that Hyderabad is presently accepting a wide range of cuisines which are humming the whole way across the city. I have no doubt in saying that there is more to Hyderabadi food than just Biryani, Haleem and Irani Chai. In addition, there is immense joy in experiencing alternatives for persuasive cooking. More importantly, the passion for food has been shaped over eras with so many diverse communities coming together. The city addresses a perfect world, with cooking styles for pretty much every sense of taste. Regardless of whether they are street food discoveries or a hint of Persian and Turkish infl uence with an Indian twist, this is the place to be. Whether it is a high-end gourmet restaurant or a small, cozy, easy-going food joint, you will get “ it all over here. Foodies are spoilt for decision in Hyderabad as there are unlimited restaurants for both vegetarian and non-vegetarian lovers. Name the cuisine that you adore, and you are destined to fi nd some place in the nook and corner of Hyderabad. There are numerous bistros, eateries, takeaway spots serving Indian, Arabic, Pan Asian and Turkish food to give some examples. Regardless of what your identity is, or what you do, Hyderabad will accept you with open arms, take you in and surprisingly let you be yourself. The people over here appreciate diff erent cultures more without anyone even having to say anything. I feel that Hyderabad has given me an opportunity to connect with some really talented bunch of individuals who are passionate and at the very same time associated with each other through one common link – FOOD!”

Shaik Shoiab (@foodand bikes)

““Food blogging is an art which requires a lot of hardwork and dedication. One need not be an expert but the love for food and seriousness is enough to push one self. As a food lover and an explorer to new tastes, my intention of starting FoodandBikes was to inspire, teach and engage with people through my content. As an Infl uencer, I wanted to share my experience through pictures and words and to improve people’s culinary experience. Learning is a lifelong process and what better than sharing our knowledge through social media. When we talk about food, how can we not talk about this place which is taking food scenes to another level and becoming a favourite city for all food lovers, Hyderabad, City of Pearls is indeed heaven for foodies. Therefore, I believe that the Hyderabad has the best food in the country!

Place like Hyderabad gives you lot of opportunity and knowledge as we have so many types of cuisines which can be covered and when “ you feel like you have covered almost everything, you will get to know about something new opened in the same lane. People from diff erent places come and settle in, representing unique blend of cuisines. Not only does the city have an amalgamation of diff erent cultures, but lot of cuisines have been adopted and transformed into something unique and more visually appealing. Thus the evolving trend across cuisines making the dining experience even more memorable. Food served and prepared here is a mixture of many spices but the secret ingredient is love and hospitality. Hyderabad accepts everyone and everything with open arms. From street food to fi ne dining, Hyderabad has it all. That’s the beauty of Our Hyderabad!”

| ONLINE Srushty Ladegaam (@hyderabadfoodtrip)

““One of the reasons why I love the food scenario in Hyderabad the most is it’s versatility. It is an amalgamation of diff erent cultures and cuisines. When people think of Hyderabad, the fi rst thing that comes to their mind is biryani. But there is so much more. We have food from all over Telangana, Andhra, Nizami and a little from Maharashtra, karnataka and Tamilnadu. As agriculture is the prevalent occupation of the state - jonna rotte (jowar roti), Ragi ambali(Ragi porridge), natu kodi pulusu are the most famous dishes amongst the many villages, towns of Telangana. Andhra meals, thalis and pulao are also popular and signifi cant. We are one of the most recognized places in the country for tiffi ns. South Indian tiffi n eateries like dosa bandis, are all over the place and many of them stay open late at night and few others even stay open for 24hours.

And coming to the Asli hyderabadi khana - we have biryani obviously and there is so much more like - kebabs, haleem, chai, “ osmania biscuits and the best part is the Hyderabadi breakfast. I love starting my day with malai paya, nihari, kheema, bheja and Irani chai. When I started blogging, the only thing I had in my mind was to try and explore more of the regional delicacies from our state and others too. Every region in Telangana has something diff erent to off er. I have had the opportunity to try so many of them and document it through my blog and my Instagram. This journey made me realize that there is so much more to food than it looks and it’s taking me to places. I have discovered my love for cooking and I cannot wait to explore and educate myself about more cuisines and delicacies across the country.”
