This catalog shows the results obtained in the Teaching Innovation Project on the Design Workshop as the core of teaching innovation and the
skills acquisition focus on the Engineering Degree in Industrial Design and Product Development at UPV.
In the history of industrial design training, the Design Workshop constitutes the main axis of the projects which foster the most authentic and personal learning
experiences. The workshop is characterized by providing a context in which combined learning converges in the development of a design culture based on an
experiential model characterized by a “hands on” approach to the Project. The conversational aspect is a key part of the teaching in the workshop since it is developed based on conversations with oneself, the teachers and the other students as well as through images, objects, materials, etc. (López-León, 2017).
In the workshop, a unique dialogue takes place between the teachers and the students.
