Alki Zei Alki Zei is a Greek author who was born in 15 December of 1925 in Athens. She spend her first years of her life in Samos with her older sister. She returned to Athens with her family in 1937 and started studying in Ionion School, where she met her friend and later author Zorge Sari. She completed her primary studies at Aidonopoulos School. Her uncle Platon Sotiriou married the famous author Dido Sotiriou, an incident that gave her the motivation to get in touch with writing. She started writing for the puppet theater of her school and she created the basic character of the national puppet theater “Barba Mitousi�.
TRAVEL She studied philosophy at the University of Athens, drama at the Athens Conservatory and scenario writing at Moscow Cinema Institute. During her studies she met her future husband George Sevastikoglou who was theatre play writer. They got married in 1945. In 1957 she moved to Moscow where she studied scenario writing. She returned in Greece in 1964 not for a long time and she moved to Paris in 1967 due to the Greek Dictatorship. She finally returned in Greece after Democracy has been restored.
