Nikos Engonopoulos Nikos Engonopoulos was born on 21 October 1907 and died on 31 October 1985. He was assistant lecturer at the National Technical University of Athens in the Department of Architectural Design and Drawing, painter, stage designer and poet. He completed his primary school internship at Lyceum in Paris and in 1930 he was appointed to the Ministry of Public Works as a designer at the City Planning Directorate.
