Eugene (Eugenios) Trivizas, (born 1946) is a Greek sociologist and writer of children's books.

Eugenios Trivizas is one of the most important writers of our country. He has written has written more than a hundred books, including 100 children, as well as novels, tribes, plays, short stories, comics, and educational books.
SOME OF HIS BOOKS

PRIZES AND AWARDS
He has received more than twenty national and international literary prizes and awards. In 2006, Eugene Trivizas was shortlisted for the prestigious international Hans Christian Andersen award, while his play "The Scarecrow's Dream" has been included in the IBBY Honour List and has been awarded the IBBY Diploma for excellence in writing. His first book for children published in English, THE THREE LITTLE WOLVES AND THE BIG BAD PIG, was a huge international success. It reached 2nd place in the American bestseller list for picture books, won many distinctions and has been translated into fifteen languages. With a distinctive combination of lyricism and surrealism, humour and poetic imagination, Eugene Trivizas is a miraculous creator of children's literature.
