Performance Notes These pitches can be played in any octave. Transposing instruments should play these pitches as written without transposing them. Players should proceed to the next pitch only when it feels right. Pitches can be repeated. Play with the rhythms! Play with dynamics. Everyone does not have to reach the last note for the piece to end. Players can play all the pitches several times before the piece is finished or fewer pitches. All players of the ensemble do not have to begin together or end together. The optional solo can be performed as written by any performer at any time it feels necessary to perform a solo.

Some general parameters should be decided upon before a performance for example: - a map of dynamics or some general dynamic arch/idea for the performance. - Play with the rhythms! Long tones versus quickly repeated tones. - a set duration can be determined prior to performance.
