orld-renowned French chef Alain Ducasse was

born in 1956 in a farm in Landes, France. He grew up accompanied by chicken, duck and cow. He

At the age of 16, he joined the catering industry and grew

up very fast. In 1987, he took over the chef position at the

l'Hôtel de Paris in Monaco and the Le Louis XV restaurant at la Société des Bains de Mer.

two of his Parisian luxury restaurants Alain Ducasse and

Le Louis XV each won the 3-Star Michelin Award. In 2003,

Ducasse opened the restaurant "Spoon by Alain Ducasse" at InterContinental Hong Kong and successfully won the Michelin 1-star honor. 14 years later, Ducasse once again

gave a surprise to Hong Kong. He brought Rech, a centuryold seafood restaurant in Paris, to InterContinental Hong

Kong as the restaurant's first stopover from France to the world.

made robotically from a solid piece of beech wood with no metal, glue or nails.

which are also reflected in the table by dark blue and white tableware. The custom designed tableware by designer Belgian and ceramist Pieter Stockmans reflects seaside

elements with his distinctive palette of deep cobalt blues.

Each piece created by the artist is a unique and original

item. New plates by bespoke French porcelain manufacturer Pillivuyt and Jean-Pierre Guilleron.

the main reason for me to visit here. Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra, Andris Nelsons, Daniil Trifonov were my focus in the festival. It was the highlight of my whole trip when I stepped into the Grosses Festspielhaus, since I was so

能立刻聯想到這個城市，會是怎樣的感覺？薩爾斯堡與莫扎

特之間，就是這種關係。歐洲有意思的小城非常多，但像薩 城這樣自然美景與人文價值結合的城市，卻不多。作為奧地 利第四大城市以及阿爾卑斯山的門庭，整個城市充斥著巴洛

克時期的古典建築。維也納固然是奧地利的象徵，但沒來過 薩爾斯堡，也不可謂完全感受了奧地利這國度。

我去薩爾斯堡，是直接從巴黎坐火車去的。剛離開花都

的絢爛，雖有一路美景陪伴，但因火車故障，也使這趟旅程 旅稍顯拖沓。當然，在小車站的停歇，乘客間的寒暄，也確

為意外收穫。每次搭火車，我喜歡沒事到處走走，每節車廂 逛逛。但能看到車廂乘客百態，卻也有趣。來接我們的司機 是個較小的本地年輕姑娘，看起來好像剛到合法駕車年齡， 卻沒想到力氣驚人，三下五除二就將我們的行李麻利地搬進 車廂，女孩臉上始終掛著可愛的笑容，語句卻極為精簡。
