orld-renowned French chef Alain Ducasse was

born in 1956 in a farm in Landes, France. He grew up accompanied by chicken, duck and cow. He

At the age of 16, he joined the catering industry and grew

up very fast. In 1987, he took over the chef position at the

gave a surprise to Hong Kong. He brought Rech, a centuryold seafood restaurant in Paris, to InterContinental Hong

Kong as the restaurant's first stopover from France to the world.

made robotically from a solid piece of beech wood with no metal, glue or nails.

The color tones of Rech's main vision are blue and white,

which are also reflected in the table by dark blue and white tableware. The custom designed tableware by designer Belgian and ceramist Pieter Stockmans reflects seaside

elements with his distinctive palette of deep cobalt blues. Each piece created by the artist is a unique and original

item. New plates by bespoke French porcelain manufacturer Pillivuyt and Jean-Pierre Guilleron.

能立刻聯想到這個城市,會是怎樣的感覺?薩爾斯堡與莫扎

特之間,就是這種關係。歐洲有意思的小城非常多,但像薩 城這樣自然美景與人文價值結合的城市,卻不多。作為奧地 利第四大城市以及阿爾卑斯山的門庭,整個城市充斥著巴洛

克時期的古典建築。維也納固然是奧地利的象徵,但沒來過 薩爾斯堡,也不可謂完全感受了奧地利這國度。

我去薩爾斯堡,是直接從巴黎坐火車去的。剛離開花都

的絢爛,雖有一路美景陪伴,但因火車故障,也使這趟旅程 旅稍顯拖沓。當然,在小車站的停歇,乘客間的寒暄,也確
