SOMEWHERE SLOWER BRIEF

Create a visual based on the research discovered through a blog, interviews, articles and information about the Adamo family. The visual needs to be a result of the collection of research produced into a piece of graphic design.

BACKGROUND/ CONSIDERATIONS

Consider how you’re researched can be used to visualise and represent the information. Take into consideration how it will also represent and relate to the family. Distribution needs to be thought out, as well as tone of voice and audience.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Thorough research into the chosen topic, include a range of sources, for example: interviews, articles, websites, magazines, blogs etc.

A visual form portraying the research discovered, for example: publications, campaign, poster etc.

THIRSTY PLANET BRIEF

Create a campaign to raise awareness of Thirsty Planet spring water – make enjoying healthy hydration, whilst also doing good ‘cool’.

BACKGROUND/ CONSIDERATIONS

Take into consideration the recent rebrand of Thirsty Planet. The target audience is 18-24s, this needs to be considered in the approach of the campaign, as well as tone of voice, approach, their sister brand etc.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

Utilise the new Thirsty Planet brand guidelines and include the Thirsty Planet logo, ‘The Power of Positive Drinking’ strap-line and use the positivedrinking.org website.

Create your own range of greeting cards and gift dressing.

Specify the target audience, use of colour, print finishes, stock choice, layout and type. Exploring own interests, style and design to produce a solution to the brief. Also, when designing the gift cards to consider the inside and the envelopes the audience will receive them in. Consider how this will work as a set and appear in high street stores.

4x single greetings cards using a specific size, a gift bag, a repeating pattern for wrapping paper, notepad cover.

Wrapping paper, design boards, mock-ups, extended practice blog and experiments.

ESSINGTON FARM BRIEF

BACKGROUND/ CONSIDERATIONS

To rebrand Essington Farm to create an identity that fits their purpose as a fruit and meat farm.

Consider their ethics and purpose and how that is appropriate for the target audience. Tone of voice also needs to be considered and how the brand is reflected through appearance. Explore the competition and how the brand can challenge this.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

A logo which the completes their identity appropriately. Designing the packaging of their produce in a way that reflects their brand.

DELIVERABLES

The farm should be branded with a logo, colour scheme, typeface etc. This can then be applied to website, packaging of the farm’s products, menus etc.

To rebrand ‘Just Grand Vintage Tearooms’ in Leeds Grand Arcade to create an identity that fits their purpose as vintage cafe.
