YCN BEAR ALPHABITES basic concept The brief for this project was: Bring the alphabet to life on the back of our cereal packs. It needs to be both educational and fun. It has to appeal to children as well as to their parents who will be buying it. This is why I decided to create an animal alphabet and place three different parts of different letters on the back of each pack. These parts would be stickers that children can peel off and reassemble so that they can put the letter together. They can exchange parts with their friends and collect them and put them on an illustrated map where they will find out about each animal from the pack.

I decided to use four basic colours and their darker versions. I haven’t used the animals’ real colours but replaced them with these.

Sticker map I created a sticker map where children will stick the animals from their cereals and discover interesting facts about the animals. Above is the version with the stickers on it and right the version without them.

Pack design These are some visualisations of how the pack looks like and different combinations with different animal parts. I have also included a mockup of how the back I designed works together with the already existing front side of the BEAR packaging.
