THE ORIGINAL HEMP BAR all natural goodness

What's new with hemp?

The Hemp Harvest BY: TEIA SISAURI

It's that time of year! We can all agree that Fall is the greatest season ever! Pumpkins, squashes, spiced goodies fill our mouths full of yummy flavors while we sit outside, under the warm Sun, breathing in that beautiful, crisp air. But, what's missing from that image...hemp! Hemp's time to shine is during the fall season. Now is when all that hemp that has been growing all summer is ready to be harvested and shared with the world. Our local farmers spend these next couple of months taking the hemp plants, drying them, and shipping them to their future homes where they may be processed into our yummy hemp bars or our powerful CBD tinctures. Our farmers work very hard to deliver the highest-quality hemp. Thank a farmer today by supporting Evo Hemp and spreading the "hemp-word" to your friends and family. Happy Harvest Season!

The Fall Equinox, Goal Setting, & Manifestation by: Brittany Greer In September we have something that is called the equinox. Basically what this means, is that the length of day and night are almost exactly 12 hours each based on the tilt of the earth on its axis and the suns rays in relation to it. In the Northern Hemisphere, this signifies fall - while in the Southern Hemisphere, it signifies spring. Regardless of where you are in the world, the equinox is a transitionary period. The sun has just entered Libra, which is the sign of balance, equanimity, and stability - hence the mostly equal length of day and night. This signals a good time to let go of the old, and get organized in the new. Taking the time to release things that no longer serve our progression, just as the trees release their leaves, is so crucial to our growth and development.

Once we shed the things/habits/relationships/patterns etc. that may be blocking our forward motion, we allow room for something better to come into our reality. The changing of the seasons reminds us to slow down, and turn inward. Only we know best what it is that we truly need for ourselves on our path. There are some practices we can put into place to help us clarify what needs our attention during this transitory season such as journaling, meditation, yoga, and various other rituals. I’m a list person. I can’t remember where I read it, but a practice of writing down your thoughts that you want to become things is one of my favorites.

On a lined sheet of paper, I write on every other line my thoughts and visions of what I would like to manifest in the days/weeks/months/ and even years ahead - but I write them as if they’re already part of my reality. “I found my soulmate” “I got that promotion” etc. Then, on the lines I skipped, I like to write my thoughts that have already manifested and become ‘things’. “I finished paying for school” “I own my own business” etc. It’s good to not get too attached to a particular time frame, as the universe has no concept of time or space and EVERYTHING happens in divine timing. Although we may feel like we need or want specific change at specific times, it doesn’t always pan out that way. So a practice of detachment from a particular outcome at a particular time is essential. Another practice could be more of a visualization thing. Try sitting or lying down with your eyes closed. Envision your life in 10 years. What are you doing for a living? Where in the world do you live? Do you have a spouse? Kids? What do you do for fun? What color is the paint on your walls? Get super specific in your visualization. It can be as grandiose as you want! Aim for the stars! Then, once you have a clear picture of what your ideal life would look like in 10 years, think of what your life should look like in 5 years. If your goals and visualizations put you in some specific place in 10 years, what should your progress look like in 5? Once you have that in your mind, work back to a year out from right now. In one year, if you want to be in the place you visualized 5 years into the future, what steps can you take now to create forward momentum in the direction of your 5 and 10 year visualizations? Again, these are just practices. They’re thoughts that you’re manifesting. The great thing about thoughts, is that they can always change. So even if today you think “in 10 years, I want to own a multi million dollar business and vacation on the beach 6 months out of the year with my smokin hot soulmate”, that vision could easily change as time goes on and life continues to unfold.

Just consider these a “rough draft” of where you could see things going, just to give yourself a little direction. This can easily be done by creating a vision board if you want something more tangible than just your imagination. Collaging images, words, ideas, etc. onto a whiteboard that you can hang up somewhere you’ll see it daily is another really great tool for inspiring growth, change, and some direction. Finally, gratitude journaling. If you think thoughts have power (which they do if you consider literally everything in existence was first a thought before it became a real thing) think about the power of words. The constitution, traffic signs, poetry, graffiti, all of these things comprised of words give shape to our reality as we know it. They are powerful, they create change, inspire movements, and dictate law. Writing your own words to manifest your desires is another great tool to get your thoughts and goals organized. Again, writing them as though they’ve already become your reality puts you in the mindset of already attaining them. “I’m so grateful and happy because...” you fill in the blank. So use this time and planetary energy to create change! Set some intentions and goals and see how perfectly things begin to unfold. It may not happen tomorrow, next week, or next month, but you’ll be surprised to see how many things you’ll start to cross off your list as time passes. Your thoughts, words, and actions give shape to how your life reveals itself to you in the most divine timing. Trust the process, do the work, and have patience - I promise you won’t be disappointed.

no more pain for me, thanks.

New in Health: Periods. By: Teia Sisauri

It’s that time of the month, ladies. The time of pain and rage and unexplained tears...it’s menstruation. We all know being a women has its perks, but let us be honest, it sucks for that one week of every month when we are in so much pain we are trying not to think of every way we could hurt the people around us. But let me tell you, women all over the world, there is a solution: CBD! CBD has been proven to do amazing things for so many people suffering from pains or illnesses, but not many have thought about helping with the one pain every woman goes through on a monthly basis. CBD helps with: Pain Inflammation (a.k.a. cramps) Stress/ Anxiety Sleep These are all things women suffer with during menstruation. Cramps are the worst, I know. So using a natural supplement containing the powers to rid your body of pain and inflammation, while also helping with your hormonal imbalance and helping you sleep, seems to good to be true. But let me tell ya, it is. When and How Much? The beauty of CBD is that it has no negative effects on your body if you take too much! Yes, you may become sleepy or too relaxed, but that doesn’t seem like a real problem to me. I recommend starting with a dropper full in the morning and one at night, but depending on your level of pain, I may recommend taking 3-4 droppers per day. Put it in your smoothies or coffee or make fancy chocolate protein bites with it...yum! CBD is the miracle plant that has helped so many people all over the world, so why not help yourself and do some good for you and your body. Take the pain away, today.

ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN, ONE GIANT LEAP FOR HEMP. Guess what...we're going to space !

ORIGINAL ARTICLE FROM: "CANNABIS IN SPACE IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER" - DAVID CARPENTER (FORBES)

Hemp in Space...? Two companies are joining forces to become the first to send hemp to space. It will be sent 250 miles above Earth, within NASA's International Space Station, for research purposes. There, they plan to test how well the hemp plants react in a 'low-gravity setting of space orbit.' Scientists at bioengineering company Space Tango are teaming up with Kentucky-based Atalo Holdings that will 'provide certified hemp seed and expertise to the venture. Their hope: to see how well hemp will grow under gravitational pressures. No time is better than now. With marijuana and hemp profits soaring, now is the time to conduct all kinds of research and discover the many capabilities the hemp plant has. 'Space Tango's upcoming research may provide yet another positive step in the evolution of cannabis as medicine, and the unleashing of the cannabis plant into free markets. ' (Carpenter)
