CLUB OF THE YEAR: SANTA ANA COUNTRY CLUB

New to the Cliff Drysdale Tennis portfolio in 2019, Santa Ana Country Club has quickly built a dedicated and loyal tennis community at every level. Located in San Jose, Costa Rica, Director of Tennis Daniel Lopez and Head Pro Jose Carlos Hidalgo have grown both adult and junior tennis at an astounding rate. Adult recreational play has reached record numbers, with a remarkable 90% retention rate in Tennis 101, a beginner program for new players. Junior tennis at SACC is amongst the most prestigious of all CDT managed clubs, with most of Costa Rica’s top players training in the Santa Ana Academy, as well as a strong grassroots youth program. Special events like mixers and round robins have not only had high demand, but also strong member satisfaction.
