MIKE LEMAIRE Mike Lemaire was born and raised in France, where he started training in the art of Judo at the young age of 4 years old. Since then he also started training in Karate and kickboxing. At 19 years old, Mike moved to the US and started training and competing in muay thai, where he went 10-0 as an amateur with all fights ending in KO’s. Mike began training in 2011 with Melchor Menor, a former 2 time muay thai world champion and together went on to win the WBC and WCK muay thai world championships as a professional. Franklin D. Deese was just elected to serve his sixth term as Mayor to the town of Marshville, NC. Mayor Deese serves on several different boards, as well as in many civic and community organizations on a local and state level. She is serving her third term in the Wisconsin State Senate, representing the 4th Senate District, which includes the Village of Shorewood, portions of Wauwatosa, Glendale, and the north & northwestern portions of the City of Milwaukee. First elected in a special election to the Wisconsin Assembly in 2003, Lena Taylor fights unrelentingly for her constituents’ rights. Taylor has been elected to the State Senate since 2004. Senator Taylor is the thousandth senator in the state of American, and only the second African-American woman to serve in the State Senate.

STANDING ON FAITH STANDING IN THE MIDST OF THE STORM BUILDS CHARACTER INTERVIEW WITH TAM LAWRENCE BY KIM GRACE Exposure Magazine goes behind the pages with Celebrity Publicist and the Founder/CEO of Exposure Magazine. To talk about her journey to finding her purpose and reconnecting with GOD. Interviewer: "Ms. Lawrence you've been in business for more than 22yrs and a publicist for over 15yrs. Tell us what was the hardest road during your journey?" Tam Lawrence: "I would have to say the hardest thing for me was probably --working alone. Although, working alone for me has made me who I am today. Life will teach you lessons, that no one else can. Being alone at times for built character and increased my self-awareness."
Interviewer: "Ms. Lawrence what advice would you give to new business owners?" Tam Lawrence: "Whatever business you decide to open be sure it's meets passion and defines your purpose. Interviewer: "Ms. Lawrence was there ever a time in your life you felt like giving up?" Tam Lawrence: "Yes! When I lived in Atlanta, GA, I had met this female named, Valarie. Over a short period of time I had grown to trust her. She strongly suggested we collaborate on a business venture. So I accepted her proposal- it was the very worst experience- I had ever encountered in business. I had opened myself up to friendship. During this unwarranted time in my life I remember praying that God would, call me home.

I was emotional drained and spiritual torn apart.

Tam Lawrence: "i prayed and cried a river, I had literally lost everything. I heard God say, "Come to me." So I jumped a flight to Hawaii with just one suitcase and one-way ticket. I had no cluewhat would happen, but I need to reconnect with God." Interviewer: "So Ms. Lawrence what happen next? you do next?" Tam: (laughing) "Read my book or watch for me on Oprah, you'll find the depths of my journey.

He is the managing editor of the ground breaking anthology, Black is the Color of Strength, which includes an excellent essay by Aaronetta Pierce titled, “Maya Angelou: Her Voice Rings Eternally.” He also edited and PP published a compilation of essays and poems written by young adults as a special tribute to Maya Angelou. Professor Williams was one of four men honored with the 2011 Men of the Year Award by the prestigious San Antonio Magazine. He also received the “Arts and Letters Award from the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library for “Contributions to the Community of San Antonio Through His Writingsand as an Educator.” Williams is presently working on a historical novel based on the life of Bayard Rustin, a great Civil Rights leader.

What is true is that he made me want to surf, so one day my dad gives me and my brother (Matthew) some old boards and our whole family goes to the beach so my dad says OH THE WAVES ARE GOOD! He hands us our little board and says its just like body boarding only difference is you stand up, then he jumps in the water and paddles out.
KEVIN CASEY FIGHTS TO WIN Kevin “King” Casey became close with Rockson Gracie, son of MMA Hall of Famer Rickson Gracie in the mid 1990’s, with whom he began studying Brazilian jiu-jitsu. Kevin also happens to be married to boxing legend Muhammad Ali’s daughter, Hana Ali. So, it’s no wonder the Inglewood native succeeds within his professional fighting career while he’s not recording music. Making his professional MMA debut in Japan in 2007, it only took 2 years for Kevin to land on a Strikeforce Challengers card. In 2013, he was announced to be a cast member on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Jones vs Team Sonnen. Kevin Casey later competed at The Ultimate Fighter 17 Finale. He would eventually go on to win a championship with Resurrection Fighting Alliance, before yet again returning with the UFC. This time, Casey would face Bubba Bush at UFC 175 where he would win via TKO early on in the first round. Kevin continued competing within the UFC organization until fall of 2016. Kevin Casey’s professional records currently stands at 9 wins, 5 losses, and 1 draw. Fans of the 35-year-old middleweight fighter are looking forward to his next match which will take place a month from now. On January 21, Casey will compete at Bellator 170 in his hometown of Inglewood at The Forum arena. His opponent will be Keith Berry who has a professional record of 15 wins and 13 losses.
