Dearest members, The European Youth Parliament Greece is proud to open the call for trainers for its 1st International Training. The event will be held in the city of Athens from the 4th to the 6th of May under the theme “Investing In The Individuals Of The Future� and head-organised by Mr Nikos-Pavlos Kotzias (GR) with Ms Maria Manolescu (RO) as Head-Trainer. We are looking for 5-8 trainers to join us in shaping our vision for the training and creating an unforgettable experience for all participants involved. We are inviting EYPers passionate about sharing their knowledge and experience in chairing, media and organising to apply to train for the three tracks. Ideally, they will have some experience in training already, be it through specific training events or as team leaders, as the three tracks will not only offer content on chairing/media/organising, but will also offer tools for participants to share their knowledge on these topics with others, be it through training on them or offering peer support. For the fourth track on EYP in general, we are looking for experienced EYPers who are interested in shaping a new concept of training, reflecting on why we do what we do in EYP and the skills that are useful to a EYPer. This training concept will draw inspiration from documents such as Understanding EYP, Education in EYP and the Values Guide. The two trainers selected for this track will have, together, experience in chairing, media and organising, to the extent needed to cover the basics of them. It is thus not necessary for each applicant for this track to have experience in all three fields (CMO). There is no participation fee for trainers and free accommodation will be provided, yet keep in mind that all travelling expenses to and from the event shall be covered by the participants themselves.
