Dearest members, The European Youth Parliament Greece is proud to open the call for trainees for its ​1st International Training​. The event will be held in the city of Athens from the ​4th to the 6th of May under the theme “Investing in the individuals of the future” and head-organised by Mr Nikos-Pavlos Kotzias (GR) with Ms Maria Manolescu (RO) as Head-Trainer. We are looking for ​30 trainees, ​both Greek and international, to take part in the training and make use of the learning opportunity provided. The training is divided into four different tracks; Charing, Media, Organising and EYP Methodology & Skills. Modules for each track will be developed based on a needs analysis of selected trainees and adapted to their level of experience, as well as learning objectives. Chairing: The chairs track aims to equip participants with the essential skills, knowledge and attitudes to be excellent chairs, as well as confident and capable to share their experience in chairing with others, be it through training on chairing (as trainer or board members) or supporting their peers in future events. The level of the training will be adapted to the experience level of trainees. It is mostly targeted at individuals with some chairing experience and in a position to, in the near future, support others in their learning experience. Media: The media track aims to equip participants with the essential skills, knowledge and attitudes to be excellent media team members/editor assistants/editors, as well as confident and capable to share their experience on media with others, be it through training on media (as trainer or editors/editor assistants) or supporting their peers in future events. The level of the training will be adapted to the experience level of trainees. It is mostly targeted at individuals with some media teams experience and in a position to, in the near future, support others in their learning experience. Organising: The organisers track aims to equip participants with the essential skills, knowledge and attitudes to be excellent organisers, as well as confident and capable to share their experience in organising with others, be it through training on organising (as trainer or head-organiser) or supporting their peers in future events. The level of the training will be adapted to the experience level of trainees. It is mostly targeted at individuals with some organising experience and in a position to, in the near future, support others in their learning experience. EYP Methodology and Skills: This track aims to equip participants with skills and attitudes useful in EYP in any and all roles, such as feedback, debriefing, project management, team work, leadership and so forth.
