10th National Selection Conference of EYP Ukraine
Call for Media team EYP Ukraine is now happy to open the next round of getting your meaningful applications - a call for Media Team members of the 10th National Selection Conference of EYP Ukraine, which will take place in the city of Dnipro between 9th and 14th of August, 2016 (including CJO Training day). The 10th National Selection Conference will gather around 150 participants who will discuss the problems related to the umbrella topic “Discrimination and Inequality: Defy, Oppose and Challenge”. Having amazing Nathan Hunter (FR/UA) as the President of the session and Olha Chychykalo (UA) together with Kristina Baranova (UA) as the Head-Organisers, we are now looking for 8 motivated and creative EYPers who will join the team of Kyrylo Korol (UA), Yulia Narniak (UA) and Karl-Joosep Volmerson (EE). Please, note that Officials will be asked to arrive to Kyiv by 6 p.m on the 8th of August, 2016. There is no participation fee for Officials, furthermore EYP Ukraine offers travel reimbursement up to 100€ for each Official to cover the way to Kyiv and then from Kyiv to Dnipro. Please, submit the application form by Sunday 5th of June, 23:59 (CET). All applicants will be informed about the outcome of their application individually. The 10th NSC is about to be the session of high academic quality interrelating 8 topics under the umbrella theme “Discrimination and Inequality: Defy, Oppose and Challenge”. At the same time, experience of participants will be greatly influenced by environment of the event. We are looking forward to find eight bright personalities to cover both academic and entertaining parts.
Editorial Vision
For the academic part, we want journalists to dig deeply into the history of the topics and make them clear by preparing only visual context. We are also planning to focus on high quality photo and video output during the session. There will be two publications before and after the session as well. During each session delegates are the key actor, and this one is not an exception. The Media Team will provide positive experience and great memories of all participants. Keeping this in mind, we are eager to give journalists as much freedom as possible to express themselves, embody their vision and share positive things. It is always challenging to bring new innovative approach, but when the Media Team is finally allocated, we make sure that all three of us will bring something personal from every journalist to cover Dnipro NSC professionally. We are not only keeping a balance between consistency and simplicity, but also between knowledge sharing and learning.
