CALL FOR HEAD ORGANISERS OF EYP DAYS In autumn 2018, EYP Ukraine is launching a unique series of projects in regions other than Kyiv - EYP Days. These projects aim to involve more students from different cities into EYP network and to introduce the concept of our sessions to various educational establishments.
WHAT is an EYP Day? EYP Day is a one-day session, which aims to introduce the concept of EYP to school and university students. The structure of an EYP Day includes 3 core parts of a session: • Teambuilding, • Committee Work, • General Assembly. Each event will gather around 40 delegates and about 50 participants in total, including officials’ team and board representative.
WHEN will the events take place? All EYP Days will take place in October - November 2018. The organising process will last from the second part of August and up to the time of each event. Head Organiser of an EYP Day is supposed to contact a certain school (college or university) in the region/city which will be a host institution of the event and where the students from other schools in the region.
Officials’ team: who will we be looking for? The officials’ team of every EYP Day will consist of: • 3 organisers (1 Head-Organiser and 2 organisers), • President, • Vice-President, • 4 chairpersons, • 2 media team members.
Important to notice! There will be a preparatory training for organisers, journalists and chairpersons (CJO) holded 1 day before the event. This training is to be planned and prepared by the organisers of every EYP Day.
What about accommodation? Delegates are expected to live at home, so there will be no need to arrange an accommodation for their stay. However, the there will be a need to host the officials’ team during the whole event.

Budget The budget of each event is supposed to be secured by the Head-Organiser. It needs to be arranged to ensure that venue provides meals and venue for the event. The budget might be also supplemented by participation fee. Financial assistance from the budget of National Committee is not planned, although Head Organisers can also apply for small grants.

The call will be open until 20th of August 2018 so take your time to think about the vision of the event and we will be waiting for your applications.
Who will be supervising the projects? All the EYP Days will be supervised by Khrystyna Myhasiuk, Vice-President on Regional Development of EYP Ukraine. Every Head-Organiser will be guided and supported by Khrystyna and a Regional Coordinator of the event’s hosting region.
How will the Selection Procedure be conducted? The Selection Panel will be led by Khrystyna Myhasiuk (Vice-President on Regional Development of EYP-Ukraine rd@eyp-ua.org), and will be joined by President of EYP Ukraine and Regional Coordinator of applicant. All applicants will be informed about the selection results individually.

Experience in organising events (including non-EYP experience) The high quality and eligibility of the proposed budget Vision and ideas for the proposed event Overall quality of the application Regional balance/relations to other events: the priority will be given to those regions, where we have not had events this year yet.
