EYP-Ukraine is pleased to open the call for Chairpersons for its Marathon dedicated to Global Youth Service Day’15, which will take place between 18-19/04/2015 in lovely cities of Odesa, Ternopil, Dnipropetrovsk and Chernivtsi.Every EYP-UA Weekend within the Marathon will host up to 60 participants for two days and will include three traditional session elements: Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly. Officials are expected to arrive one day prior to the event (17th of April before 10:00). On 28/02-01/03/2015, a two-day Chairs’ training in Kyiv is organised by EYP-Ukraine, offering in particular Ukrainian Chairpersons an opportunity to get an indepth insight into EYP chairing methodology. Attendance is very much encouraged. Additionally, a Chairs’ training will take place on the day before the respective session starts, enabling the chairpersons to lead a committee of first-time delegates effectively through the packed and demanding session programme. There is no participation fee for Officials. Accommodation and meals will be provided, however, travel costs are to be covered by the participants. All applicants are asked to submit the application form by 24/01/2015 23:59:59 CET. Moreover, applicants are requested to get familiar with the session concept and the specific expectations towards Chairperson' role, both of which are explained in the application form.
