Cherkasy Regional session will take place in Cherkasy on April 24-26th for delegates, April 23-26th for officials, and April 22-26th for organisers and leadership. April 23rd will be dedicated to pre-session training of all teams.
Head Organisers` Vision Dear potential applicant, We are thankful for your interest to join us in shaping Cherkasy Regional Session! The EYP Ukraine umbrella topic for this year is “Laying a strong foundation for a sustainable society. We give freedom to the Session President to develop the session`s umbrella topic and committee topics together with the Chairs` Team. The President is also expected to take care of the academic aspect of the event at all stages.
Apart from this, there are some ideas we would like to underline:
The session`s participants’ physical and mental wellbeing Everyone is put under high pressure in today`s world. It might be especially difficult to focus on proper work-rest balance during the session due to various commitments and fear of missing out. People can feel overwhelmed, stressed, and nervous. Considering this, we want the session`s leadership to work on the common vision, suggest ideas, and fulfill quality pre-session preparation to minimize the amount of stress both for officials and delegates.
The President for everyone We aim to make this event an inclusive environment where everyone can feel welcome and included. That`s why we are looking for a person who would be able to add to this vision to the fullest. That includes being comfortable with facilitating not only the work of the respective Chairs` Team but all the participants’ involvement and success.Â
Sustainability is a key Taking into account the EYP Ukraine`s Vision, we strive to maintain the sustainability of the session. We see a lot of possibilities to do this and hope for fruitful cooperation amongst leadership to come as close to this goal as possible. Tonia and Oksana, Head Organisers of Cherkasy RS

My vision is based on a foundation of respect, gratitude and support. Motto of the organising team “Inspiration - search from within and outside provides an opportunity for both reflection and action - to move forward together. One of the goals to achieve during the session is to create a platform which can help participants to get acquainted with the reality of the problems challenging modern world, work on their solutions among peers and gain a new perspective on the problems. Another goal is to make Zaporizhzhia RS a training platform that will allow all participants to grow and develop their personal and academic skills.

Therefore, I would like to emphasize the importance of good communication, openness and willingness to cooperate from the President of the session with the rest of Leadership and Officials teams.
