Winter EYP Weekends of EYP Ukraine Call for Presidents

EYP Ukraine launches an open call for 3 Presidents of EYP Weekends that will happen in winter 2018 in Poltava, Sumy and Kyiv. Here is your perfect time to apply and become one of the Presidents of our events. The concept of the event is very challenging (described below), however, we expect the Presidents to be innovative, supportive and active leaders, who are eager to contribute to the future of EYP Ukraine as well as develop civil society in our country. EYP Weekend EYP Weekend is a two-day session, which also includes three core elements of the session (Teambuilding, Committee Work and General Assembly). Teambuilding and Committee Work are happening on the first day and General Assembly is happening during the second day. It involves about 30-40 delegates (about 50 participants in total). Also, The entire officials team is supposed to arrive two days prior the session in order to participate in the CJO training led by the President and the board of the session. The project lasts for two days and serves as a chance to introduce the world of EYP, our format and methodology to newcomers. Hence, we expect a solid academic level within given circumstances as well as engaging session atmosphere where every participant can gain certain knowledge and enjoy inter-cultural exchange. We also expect the Presidents to work on the academics before the session (draft committee topics) and after the session (finalise the resolution booklet and share with the board of EYP Ukraine). Officials will stay at the hostel/hotel, while Delegates are expected to live at home. The vast majority of the Delegates are newcomers. They will represent 4-5 schools in the region as well as to be selected through an open call.
