Meet the Session President

Hopefully, the fact that you are here means that you are thinking of applying to Dnipro 2019 which is excellent! I’m happy to be sharing my vision for this event and am looking forward to hearing your proposals on how we can improve it!”
OFFICIALS’ TEAM One of the core principles that the Head Organisers (Yanina and Danylo) have proposed is inclusion. Mainly focusing on ensuring a great experience for first-time Delegates, we would like to see Officials engaged in activities together with them and truly making Dnipro a welcoming environment for everyone.
Inclusion also applies to the whole Officials’ team internally, no matter what role you are considering for yourself and how experienced/inexperienced you are. Enthusiasm and initiative will be the main factors that we will evaluate during the selection process so don’t be afraid to try out a new role, return after a break or use your previous experience to bring fresh ideas to the table!
Since Regional sessions are rather short, it’s harder to achieve certain personal development objectives. Therefore, before and during the session I would like to emphasize the importance of tangible goals and small improvements. The Leadership team will be helping other participants to reach their objectives and providing support.
CHAIRS’ TEAM
Dnipro will gather 6 committees with around 10 Delegates in each of them. Therefore, we are looking for 10 Chairpersons (4 co-chairing couples and 2 single Chairs). The structure of the team welcomes both experienced and inexperienced members to apply and challenge themselves in different ways.
The academic part of the session will revolve around energy governance. We are aiming to improve the academic standard in EYP Ukraine through extensive preparation whilst making sure that all topics are presented to Delegates in an understandable and interesting way.
As mentioned previously, taking initiative will be at the core of our cooperation. I would like to gather a team of enthusiastic individuals and adapt different elements of the session to personal needs, creating a caring, supportive and productive environment for everyone involved.
Throughout the journey, Chairpersons will be guided by myself and two outstanding Vice presidents - Rahman Chaudhry and Tautvydas Ĺ lapikas.
Lastly, I would like to mention the absolute overarching goal for me at this session which is to have fun and truly enjoy the event! Join me, Tautvydas and Rahman in Dnipro to make it a fun and worthwhile experience!
