Dnipro Regional Session
President’s Vision
Meet the Session President
Rita Jevdokimova
“Dear EYPers,
Hopefully, the fact that you are here means that you are thinking of applying to Dnipro 2019 which is excellent! I’m happy to be sharing my vision for this event and am looking forward to hearing your proposals on how we can improve it!”
OFFICIALS TEAM One of the core principles that the Head Organisers (Yanina and Danylo) have proposed is inclusion. Mainly focusing on ensuring a great experience for first-time Delegates, we would like to see Officials engaged in activities together with them and truly making Dnipro a welcoming environment for everyone. Inclusion also applies to the whole Officials’ team internally, no matter what role you are considering for yourself and how experienced/inexperienced you are. Motivation will be the main factor that we will evaluate during the selection process so don’t be afraid to try out a new role, return after a break or use your previous experience to contribute fresh ideas!
Moreover, the Leadership team will be cooperating closely before the session to ensure that the best practices are being used and develop a common vision. Team leaders will get an opportunity to structure their teams according to their preferences and capacity of the session.
CHAIRS’ TEAM Dnipro will gather 6 committees with around 10 Delegates in each of them. Therefore, we are looking for 2 Vice-presidents. The structure of the team welcomes both experienced and inexperienced members to apply and challenge themselves in different ways. The academic part of the session will revolve around energy governance. We are aiming to improve the academic standard in EYP Ukraine through extensive preparation whilst making sure that all topics are presented to Delegates in an understandable and interesting way. In the Board, I would like to see an equal division of responsibilities between myself and both Vice-presidents who will also be welcomed in the Leadership team. Vice-presidents will be taking part in all elements of the academic preparation, starting with the essential crafting of the topics. Moreover, initiative and ownership will be at the core of our cooperation. “Lastly, I would like to mention the absolute overarching goal for me at this session which is to have fun and truly enjoy the event! Join me, Yanina and Danylo in Dnipro to make it a fun and worthwhile experience! Rita Jevdokimova
