EYP DAYS VISION BOOKLET

Dear applicant, I would like to welcome you to a great opportunity of personal growth and unlimited source of inspiration, challenges and empowerment. I am saying that because I already see EYP Day in Dnipro in this way, and when I get the best I share that and try to give even more to others. The topic of the session is “EU - Ukraine integration”. It represents our reality and provides a leap into future development. Since the beginning of its history, Ukraine has been broadening her international relations with neighboring countries by opening her borders to new people. My aim is to create an atmosphere where everyone will be able to express oneself and exceed one’s self-development. I want to challenge you to expand your frame of vision and take every opportunity to improve. Learning by practice and empowerment will be the key principle of the session. This concept will be integrated into preparation and session procedure. Within next almost 40 days we will find out inside aspects of life of officials team, have time to reflect on our performance, celebrate our victories and failures, while maintaining wellbeing of each other. Our work as a team will be designed according to needs of each participant to help everyone excel in one’s sphere of interest.

EYP Days as a concept gives you a leap to future improvement and helps you stay in a safe zone at the same time. With such a short term it might seem a 30 min jog, it might seem a sprint, but both require persistence, stamina and dedication. In order to achieve high results, you will have a coach that will guide you through this experience and will facilitate implementation of your personal goals.

This session will have a small chairs team that will consist of 1 Vice President and 4 single-chairing Chairpersons. We welcome both newcomers and people who are willing to perfect their skills, those who are looking for an answer or still looking for the question, those who want to take one step further. Main questions that will be answered for both Vice President and Chairperson are Why? and How? Over next 40 days your progress will be tackled in all aspects, therefore you will receive an immense facilitation in goaloriented behavior. I am not summing up, because I believe it is not our last talk. That is why I invite you to continue our conversation by applying to EYP Day in Dnipro as a Vice President or Chairperson to join my team or as Organiser and Media Team Member to join our big family! Kind regards,

Victoria Bilenko President of EYP Day in Dnipro

Responsibility, excitement, hopes, experiences, trust, confidence. This is what I am feeling when I imagine EYP Day in Dnipro. Believing in our generation gives me strength and assurance to make this great and important event. I want everyone to feel that they are welcome in Dnipro and so a Head Organiser, I will do my best to make it real. Everything starts from the organising team. Mostly, people think that the organisers are working only during the event; however, they just cannot see the hidden and hard process of management in EYP events. I believe that in the great teamwork we can reach high altitudes. That is why we are looking for two teammembers that have such qualities as: Responsibility Punctuality Trust in the job we do Good communicating skills Fun feature Loathing of challenges Therefore, I hope to find two great individuals who will share my vision and crazy ideas.

When I attended my first session, I felt like a real star because of great media team members. Photos, videos, interviews, projects are incredible part of every EYP event. I really want to find creative and responsible individuals who can combine both media and management process of the session. We are looking for people, who have such qualities:

Creativity Photo and video editing skills Trust in the job we do Understanding the role of media in EYP events Timeliness So, we would like to meet interesting and creative people who can give their love and energy to EYP Day Dnipro. Best wishes,

Danylo Bobylov Head Organiser of EYP Day in Dnipro

My EYP journey started right here in Zaporizhzhia more than two years ago, from being a delegate who never understood what was going on, and now oh look how the tables have turned! I am extremely proud and pleased to be a Head Organiser of Zaporizhzhia EYP Day and contribute to involving our young locals in EYP. I want their hometown to become a place of discovering opportunities and surprise even those ones who might have thought that there is nothing more for them to discover here. Even though the most of our delegates will be first-timers, the event has got another great goal except involving newcomers in EYP. With the topic “Youth political participation”, we strive to educate young people about why it is essential to be an active citizen and not to stand aside from political processes in their homeland. Making our delegates aware of the necessity to be responsible and shape life in Ukraine with their own hands would be the greatest achievement to us. Head-organising an event for the first time is bound to be life-changing. For me, EYP Day in Zaporizhzhia is about accepting challenges and discovering strengths. I hope that our officials’ team will associate this event with selfimprovement just as I do, as the most of our officials will also be first-timers in their roles. Katya and I warmly welcome anyone who is willing to join us, whether you have previous experience in being an official or not.

EYP Day would be the perfect opportunity to try out a new role and broaden the spectrum of things you are capable of. We would like to create a special atmosphere in our officials team, warm and amicable, inspiring to be your best.

When it comes to organisers, we are looking for two people, who would be able to shape Zaporizhzhia EYP Day in all its aspects along with me and prepare everything needed for hosting the event. As the position requires quite a lot of work around the city, the priority will be given to locals. Our Media Team will be quite unconventional, consisting of two journalists. We welcome both experienced Media Team Members and those who want to try out this role for the first time. People with non-EYP related media experience are also encouraged to apply. We are aiming to create a well-balanced Media Team, where people will be free both to show the skills they obtain and learn new things. Zaporizhzhia EYP Day could be a perfect platform for you to express your creativity in any way you want, so don’t miss the chance! Lots of love,

Anastasia Ivanchenko Head Organiser of EYP Day in Zaporizhzhia

Let me start by saying that it is my utmost pleasure and honour to preside the first ever EYP Day in Zaporizhzhia. Zaporizhzhia is a hometown for a lot of active EYPers, who at the time got immersed in the world of EYP and since then have hugely contributed to the development of the National Committee and the network. It is therefore safe to assume that this city has a huge potential, and we got a priceless chance to uncover it.

This session is going to be the first EYP experience for most of the delegates. Despite being a day long, it can still open a door to the diverse world of development and incredible people, called EYP. It is our job, as an officials team, to help our delegates feel the EYP spirit and inspire them to continue their journey within the organisation.

With the umbrella topic of the session “Youth political participation” our goal is also to promote active citizenship and encourage our participants to confidently voice their opinions and invest their time and effort in shaping the society they live in. Be it motivation, confidence, or knowledge our delegates might lack for more active involvement in the community, we should try to provide them with it.

These goals are only possible to attain with a group of bright and inspiring individuals known as the officials team. We will strive to establish a cozy and supportive atmosphere in our small officials team. The only thing required of you is being open, helpful, and displaying an attitude of mutual respect. Such an environment is bound to be conducive to self-development, which is the ultimate reason for our involvement in EYP. When it comes to the chairs team, we are looking for 4 single-chairing Chairpersons and 1 nonchairing Vice-President. I would like to gather a team of people invested in their progress, as well as development of participants they are responsible for. During the selection we will pay much more attention to applicants’ motivation to grow and get out of the comfort zone rather than previous experience, meaning that first timers, eager and ready to take the challenge, are more than welcome to apply. I would like the Board to have a flat structure with the VicePresident wholly participating in decision making from the point they join the team. If you doubt whether you should apply, just apply. If you still doubt, drop me a line — let's figure this out together. Love,

Katya Glebova President of EYP Day in Zaporizhzhia
