Selection report for the National Coordinator of Understanding Europe project in Ukraine 2015/16 The selection panel composed of the board of EYP-Ukraine (Kristina Chelmakina, Valeriya Boyko, Michael Shekhtman, Inna Shcherbyna, Mykhailo Komarov, Halyna Virt, Alexander Ustymenko) completed the selection of the National Coordinator of Understanding Europe project in Ukraine for the upcoming academic year 2015/16.

Applications The panel received a total of 1 application (female) which was submitted on time before the deadline.

Selection process During the selection, the application was reviewed carefully. The selection panel took into account both EYP and non-EYP experience of applicant, previous achievements within Understanding Europe project , the applicant’ vision and ideas for the upcoming academic year, as well as the overall quality of the application.

The bard decided to select the applicant for the position of the National Coordinator of Understanding Europe project in Ukraine.

Selection results Thus Understanding Europe project in Ukraine will be led in the upcoming academic year 2015/16 by:

The board would like to express its gratitude towards Maryna’s application for the time and effort she invested in her application. We were extremely happy to see the promising plan for the upcoming academic year 2015/16.

Maryna’s plan for the upcoming academic year 2015-2016: 

 

Creating 5 regional teams of the UE trainers by the end of September (South - based in Odessa including Mykolaiv and Kherson regions) ( West - based in Lviv, including Zakarpattya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Chernivtsi and Rivne regions) (Central - based in Kyiv, including Cherkasy, Zhytomyr, Chernihiv, Poltava regions) (East - based in Kharkiv, including Sumy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhia regions): o Each team will make at least 3 courses with the help of core team during October-December + 3 additional during January-April; o Providing the trainers sharing experience conference for the regional coordinators in May; o All courses go within the schedule provided by regional coordinators; Organising the UE Day Marathon in the end of December for university students; Promoting the project in summer camps (MASCOT, CACTUS, HEAL, ect.).

The board has concluded that in the upcoming academic year 2015/16 onwards the National Coordinator of Understanding Europe project in Ukraine will be supervised by the President of EYP-Ukraine and all the reports and communication will be executed between the National Coordinator and the President of EYP-Ukraine.
