The selection panel composed of the Board of EYP-Ukraine (Kristina Chelmakina, Valeriya Boyko, Michael Shekhtman, Inna Shcherbyna, Mykhailo Komarov, Halyna Virt, Alexander Ustymenko) completed the selection of the Head-organiser of the 5th InterRail Tour of EYP-Ukraine.
Applications The panel received a total of 2 applications (female) one of which was submitted after the deadline.
Selection process During the selection, the application submitted on time was reviewed carefully. The selection panel took into account both EYP and non-EYP experience of applicant, previous experience in project management, the applicant’s vision on the InterRail organisation and ideas on how to better manage Local Organisers’ teams distantly, as well as the overall quality of the application. The applicant possesses necessary qualities to be a good Supervisor for Local Organisers and is highly motivated to organise the event. The applicant foresees the 5th InterRail Tour of EYP-Ukraine as an excellent opportunity to practice and enhance her supervision, communication and leadership skills in throughout the organising process. However, due to the lack of project management experience within the EYP network, the Board of EYP-Ukraine has decided to invite the 2nd Head-Organiser for the 5th InterRail Tour of EYP-Ukraine in order to uphold the highest standards of the organisational process. Halyna Virt showed her interest in this project and as a result was appointed as the 2nd Head-Organiser.
