Dear participants of this year’s training camp! I would like to welcome you as a part of EYP Ukraine’s main training event in 2017. We are expecting around 100 participants from many different countries all over Europe. The training camp will take place in beautiful Tatariv, a small village in the Carpathians known as a climatic spa and enjoying mountainous landscape. The idea of this training is to provide EYP-ers for a new role within the organisation. Be it you made your first encounter with the European Youth Parliament as a delegate just few months ago and want to find out about what it means to be a journalist or chairperson; be it you prepare yourself to become a session president or board member of your respective National Committee. Before the training, you will be able to choose one of four tracks - chairing, media, project management, and NC management - and spend most of the training time on this track. However, in the tradition of last year’s training camp, there will also be a number of opportunities where you are completely free to choose between a broad variety of different modules. I sincerely hope this training camp will become a transformative event for you, enrich you personally, bind you to the EYP and bring along lots of new friendships across the continent. Because this is how an Italian delegate once described the European Youth Parliament: “An invaluable education, an unforgettable journey, and an incredible experience.” Looking forward to meeting you soon!
