What to keep in mind to ensure your welfare - a checklist*: While enjoying the digital session could be so much fun, sometimes we forget to unplug and reconnect with life beyond technology. This is the reason why it is important to remember to keep some time in the day to stand up from the desk you are working from, get some fresh air, and not look at a screen for a while. Everybody might have technological issues, and the Organisers are here to help! Do not stress yourself too much if software or internet connection should not work properly all the time. Take some time, contact us: we will solve it together. Despite the quite busy schedule of the session, remember to keep some time for yourself and your habits. Do not force yourself to sit 24/7 in front of the laptop, you could maybe do something you like to distract yourself during the breaks! Stay hydrated! Don’t forget to keep a glass of water, a cup of tea, some coffee to sip or whatever you might like to drink while discussing important European issues. Remember no alcohol is allowed. Since the participants come from all over Europe, having a fixed sleep schedule to stick to may be a bit hard because of the different time zones. However, sleep is one of the key elements for your wellbeing. We recommend at least 8 hours per night! *Credits for the content go to the Organising Team of Milano 2021 - 92nd International Session of the European Youth Parliament

It could be hard because of the virtualization, but remember to check on your mates. We are all in this together, and we absolutely do not want people to feel anxious or lonely during the event. We encourage you to take part in the cultural programs as well as all the socialising activities. Check your microphone and camera beforehand, to limit the possible issue that may arise during the session. Make sure to work in a quiet environment, which will make it a lot easier for you and your committee to work and focus. Let your parents or housemates know you are working online and show them that you are very interested in the session and would appreciate it if they respect your request for silence. If you feel like your wellbeing is being affected wither by the behaviour of the other delegates, of your chairperson(s) or of other members of the session, please approach the Organising Team or the Project Manager in order to find a solution together - and remember, there is no shame in worrying for your own wellbeing!
