Look out for exciting environmental news from The Monaco Yacht Show, which brings back its sustainability hub, as well as the maiden showing of the stunning Sanlorenzo 500EXP explorer, which is gracing the Principality’s waters courtesy of TWW Yachts. Elsewhere, we joined the INEOS team in South Africa to take part in the 4x4 experience of a lifetime going bush in the new Quartermaster. The chance to put this remarkable vehicle through its paces amidst some of the most glorious scenery on Earth was a rare treat.
We also turned heads during an exciting drive in the all-electric Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron which demonstrated the manufacturer’s ability to continue pushing the boundaries in both performance and style.
Our cool season fashion pages are all about a return to classical style alongside sartorial elegance, with collections from dunhill and TOM FORD featuring sharp tailoring and elegant lines.
And we continue our look at the new classics with visits to new properties in Bahrain and Oman, two definite jewels in the region’s travel landscape that are sure to become firm favourites.
On our dining pages, we showcase the return of an homage to French elegance in Bahrain as well as a fine example of culinary mastery in Doha. Enjoy the autumn issue for a taste of the finer things in life.

FLYING ACROSS THE WAVES
In a first for the region, and possibly the world, a fleet of foiling, electric ‘flying’ ships is heading to Saudi Arabia’s NEOM.
Supplied by Candela, the P-12, the world's first electric hydrofoil ship, will service the planned water network in NEOM, the gigantic, sustainable development taking shape in northwestern KSA. NEOM has taken an initial batch of eight of the foiling, electric shuttle ships, making it the largest order in Candela’s history.
"The P-12 is designed to create zeroemission water transport systems which have significant improvements over traditional water commuting,” says Gustav Hasselskog, CEO and founder of Candela.
“Unlike legacy systems with large, slow and energy-inefficient conventional ferries, the Candela P-12 is a smaller and faster unit, allowing much more frequent departures and quicker journeys for passengers. All daily necessities and services will be just a short boat commute away.”
Flying above the waves on computer-guided underwater wings, hydrofoils, the P-12 uses 80% less energy than conventional ships, allowing it to combine long range and high speed for the first time in an electric vessel. With a speed of 25 knots and more than two hours of endurance, the Candela P-12 holds the distinction of being the fastest and longestrange electric passenger ship to date. The hydrofoils also unlock a new level of
comfort. Passengers will fly smoothly over the Red Sea, as the P-12’s digital flight control system balances the ship 100 times per second by adjusting the hydrofoils' angle of attack, keeping it stable even in winds and waves.
Since Candela’s foiling vessels use 80% less energy than conventional ships of the same size, a life cycle analysis performed by the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm concluded that a P-12 will emit 97.5% less CO2 during its lifetime compared to a conventional diesel vessel of the same size.
The Candela P-12 seats between 20 and 30 people depending on configuration. Its motors, located in pods underwater, are exceptionally silent and create minimal disturbance for marine wildlife as well as a negligible wake, allowing for quicker journeys where conventional ships are restricted.
"We’re extremely proud to provide a vessel system designed with both passengers and the environment in mind," said Gustav Hasselskog.

FAR AWAY IN A 4X4
Hadag travelled all the way to the beautiful country of South Africa to experience the new INEOS Quartermaster out in the wild.
Year after year, Hadag scours the market to find the very best motorcars available to the public. We spend time with these quality vehicles, inspecting every inch and putting them through their paces so we can report our findings to our loyal readers. However, every once in a while, we get to have an entirely new experience. Recently, thanks to the team at Adamas Motors, Hadag went on an adventure of a lifetime to the resplendent Republic of South Africa to take part in a unique 4x4 experience in the outstanding INEOS Quartermaster.
CAPE TOWN, WESTERN CAPE
As we approached Cape Town International Airport for landing, we were already taken by the beauty of the country. Greeted by the sites of Table Mountain, Lion’s Head and Devil’s Peak, along with all the greenery and beautiful beaches one could hope for, we knew we were arriving in a version of paradise.
Picked up and chauffeured to our accommodation, The Radisson Red Hotel, at the world-famous V&A Waterfront, we had a quick team gathering in the lobby before heading out to a fabulous welcome dinner at Granary Café in The Silo Hotel. Soon after, we headed to bed to get a full night’s sleep in preparation for our long day ahead.
GQEBERHA, EASTERN CAPE
The following morning, we were up early and on the road again to Cape Town International Airport. This time our destination was to be the city of Gqeberha in the Eastern Cape Province. Formerly known as Port Elizabeth, this busy coastal hub, known locally as ‘the windy city’, was to be the launch point from which we made our way to Quartermaster Basecamp. After touching down at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport, we were welcomed by the INEOS team who allocated each pair a vehicle and conducted a short vehicle briefing.
RUGGED EXTERIOR
The moment our INEOS Quartermaster vehicle came into view, we knew we were in for a real treat.
You get 4x4 vehicles, then you get truly rugged, ready for anything, drive you up the side of a mountain while towing another vehicle 4x4s. The Quartermaster is certainly the latter. As rugged as 4x4s get, the exterior of our five-seater Quartermaster double cab pick-up immediately revealed its offroad intentions with its galvanised steel body, full box-sectioned ladder frame, front and rear skid plates, towing eyes at the front and rear, along with roof rails and roof protection strips.
The overall design was dictated by the purpose of the vehicle, with no superficial styling, just a clear, simple and straightforward beast. As we made our way around the pick-up, it was clear that this 4x4 not only means business out on the trails but also when transporting
From inclines to declines, from dry to wet, from sand to rock, it made little difference to this devourer of trails.
bulky items. Some members of the team were fully equipped for kayaking, and their sporting equipment was safely and effortlessly stored and carried by the appointed vehicle.
Along with the ability to transport five adults comfortably, the Quartermaster also has a payload of up to 835kgs, can carry a standard 1,200mm x 800mm Euro pallet with ease and boasts a 3,500kg-towing capacity. The designers have also included four tie-down rings in the loadspace to ensure cargo is always secure, as well as a 1,280mm wide tailgate for ease of loading. This tailgate itself can hold up to 225kg when open. An integrated mounting bar has also been fitted.
The more we inspected the exterior, the more obvious it became that this vehicle was created to withstand any terrain while showcasing a design that is easy on the eye.
PRACTICAL INTERIOR
Soon we were slipping inside the vehicle, ready to head out into the wilderness towards the remote base camp, some 200 kilometres away. We were greeted by a no-frills interior designed with a dedicated purpose in mind, to provide what is necessary to be able to drive anywhere, in any weather, at any time.
INEOS Automotive has gone back to basics to create a functional, intuitive and comfortable interior environment. The controls have been kept analogue and mechanical wherever possible, and we appreciated the clearly labelled and well-spaced buttons and chunky dials. The standard seating upholstery was a combination of hard-wearing, tough cloth and vinyl that is stain-, dirt- and water-resistant and very easy to clean.
We also discovered that one of the vehicles in our convoy featured Safari windows that are situated above the driver and co-driver ensuring optimal views of the terrain and road ahead. It was explained that these innovative windows allow plenty of natural light and fresh air into the cabin and can also be safely removed and stored in a dedicated storage bag.
As we set off, taking turns to drive to the base camp, we agreed that all controls were optimally placed and found the car to be very responsive. It wasn’t long before we developed a high level of on-road confidence as the kilometres rolled effortlessly by.
BAVIAANSKLOOF
As we made our way along the 200km trail bounded by two mountain ranges, the Baviaanskloof Mountains on the north and the Kouga mountains on the southern side, we were able to take in the stunning views on offer. This area is a protected reserve in South Africa, as it is home to a remarkable 58 mammal species. These include 46 medium- and largesized mammals such as the reintroduced zebra,
black rhinoceros, red hartebeest, buffalo and eland, which coexist with indigenous species like the bush pig, klipspringer, grysbok, grey rhebok, bushbuck, mountain reedbuck and duiker.
The area’s varying elevations – from low-lying valley slopes to high grassy plateaus – provide habitats for diverse species, from kudu and bushbuck in the bushy valleys to the eland and red hartebeest in the mountainous fynbos regions. Predators like the caracal and leopard are also spotted at times, with leopard sightings being a rare but increasing occurrence.
We felt truly blessed to have the opportunity to experience such a magnificent and diverse area of flora and fauna and would have loved to have made a hundred little stops along the way.
QUARTERMASTER BASE CAMP
Once we arrived at base camp, we were allocated luxury tents and generously gifted INEOS branded jackets and beanies to help us stay warm during the southern hemisphere’s chilly winter nights.
On our first evening, we attended a delicious arrival dinner cooked over an open fire, referred to by the locals as a ‘braai’.
During this hearty meal, we were welcomed to the adventure by our gracious and friendly host, Tim Abbott, Head of Sales & Marketing for the SSA and MENA regions, who ensured we felt most welcome.
With full bellies and plenty of excitement for the next day, we headed to bed, taking in the calls of the wild as we drifted off to sleep.
A MULTITUDE OF MODERN TECH
The following morning, we enjoyed a quick warm breakfast complete with coffee and received our briefing for the day ahead. Next was an orientation, during which it was explained to us how best to operate the vehicle when out on more rugged terrain. Aspects of the exterior and interior were highlighted, as well as the off-road capabilities. It was at this point that we spent more time taking in the model’s impressive tech.
In the new Quartermaster, all driving data is located in one place, on the Central Control System (CCS). Here we could access information on speed, gear and fuel levels, tyre pressure, maps, media, phonebook, current bearing, coordinates, steering angle, vehicle altitude and much more.
All of this is displayed on a user-friendly 12.3inch touchscreen that has been specifically designed for INEOS Automotive. The CCS screen can be operated using either the buttons on the multifunction steering wheel, the rotary controller located on the centre console, the menu buttons on the central control interface and, of course, through the touchscreen itself. We were most impressed by the ergonomically designed overhead control panel. Inspired by the layout of controls in aircraft cockpits, this houses all off-road switchgear and functions such as the Off-Road and Wading Modes, the (when optioned) axle differential lock buttons, Downhill Assist, as well as both standard and optional pre-wired auxiliary switches. This can be used for options or accessories such as winches or light bars.
Additionally, this rugged off-roader is equipped with an extensive range of standard safety features that include Lane Departure Warning,
Automatic Hazard Warning, Intelligent Speed Assistance, Uphill Assist, Downhill Assist, Automatic Emergency Braking, Driver Drowsiness Detection, a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) and multiple airbags throughout, to name but a few.
THE BEST 4X4
After the briefing and inspection, we bundled into our vehicles and set off to Fang’s Lookout, yet another spectacular viewpoint from which to take in the wonderous landscape we found ourselves in. Our favourite part of the day and perhaps the entire trip was the opportunity to take the Quartermaster out on a 4x4 driving experience. Under supervision, we took the reins of this marvellous beast and set off on a challenging trail chosen to demonstrate the off-road capabilities of our ride.
Our Quartermaster housed a BMW 3.0-litre, straight-six engine coupled with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission. This drivetrain produces 210kW of power and 450Nm of torque and has been designed and thoroughly tested for durability.
As we made our way through the 4x4 trail, we were surprised at how effortlessly our vehicle managed any terrain put in front of it. From inclines to declines, from dry to wet, from sand to rock, it made little difference to this devourer of trails.
The chassis of this permanent 4x4 drive combines a five-link front and rear suspension layout, complemented by powerful Brembo brakes and an accurate recirculating ball steering system. The inclusion of Off-Road and Wading Modes and Pathfinder OffRoad Navigation means the vehicle is always prepared for challenging terrain and houses the best off-road GPS available.
Despite it being our first time on these tough 4x4 trails, the excellent performance capabilities of our Quartermaster soon instilled us with a sense of confidence and we can honestly say that we loved every minute of this exceptional 4x4 adventure.
ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO AN END
The following day it was with heavy hearts that we packed up and readied ourselves for the return journey.
After another delicious bush breakfast, we headed back along the road to Chief David Stuurman International Airport to begin our long flight back home, taking in the majestic surroundings one last time. We want to take this opportunity to thank Adamas Motors for making this one-of-a-kind adventure possible, as well as the entire team at INEOS Grenadier Quartermaster First Drive for all of the unforgettable experiences and memories.

BATTERY POWERED BRILLIANCE
Hadag spent the day in the all-new Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron, a fully electric, high-performance SUV that is sure to turn a few heads on the roads.
HSPORTY EXTERIOR
adag recently received an invitation from Audi Centre Bahrain to test drive the brand’s newest creation, the new Q8 Sportback e-tron. As connoisseurs of first-class motor vehicles, we were eager to accept and soon found ourselves standing in front of this world-renowned car manufacturer's latest automotive achievement.
At first glance, it was clear the stylish new Q8 Sportback e-tron is an all-electric model. The new front and rear designs with the expressive Singleframe mask, the inverted grille and a blade above the redesigned rear diffusers showcase Audi's ever-advancing electric design language while delivering the brand’s soughtafter SUV style. We took extra time appreciating the way the front grille blends seamlessly into the face of the vehicle.
Fortunate enough to be test-driving the premium S-line model, we had the opportunity to take in the special body components exclusive to this sporty exterior package. These elements include a widened body, a body-coloured Singleframe, S-line bumpers, widened Digital Matrix LED headlights, flow-optimised wheel arch panels and exclusive 21-inch five-spoke, light-alloy, Graphite Grey, diamond-turned wheels. Adding further striking accents are a host of carbon-fibre details, aluminium-look exterior mirror housings and an edition-specific door LED projection that spells out ‘e-tron edition’ onto the street at night. Tinted rear, door and side windows protect occupants from UV radiation and ensure privacy.
From side on, the most prominent features were the sill area with the battery package riding low between the axles, the before mentioned beautifully designed rims sporting red brake callipers with the S logo, and the cameras replacing the side view mirrors. Screens inside the vehicle provide the driver with the desired views. Furthermore, the new Q8 e-tron is the first model to carry the freshly designed Audi rings in a two-dimensional look, ensuring no one can mistake the model being driven.
For a full-sized four-door SUV, we felt the designers at Audi have managed to achieve a distinctly sleek and aerodynamic shape, one that looks great on the roads and in the garage.
LUXURIOUS INTERIOR
After slipping into the ultra-comfortable front seating with four-way lumbar support, we took our time taking in the sheer ambience created by the master crafters at Audi.
To us, there was no doubt that the new Q8 Sportback e-tron is a deluxe model that exudes a sense of luxury, comfort and style.
The spacious nature of the interior was amplified by the abundance of natural light provided by the electronic two-part panoramic sunroof. At night, we loved how the optional
For us, there was no doubt that the new Q8 Sportback e-tron is a deluxe model that exudes a sense of luxury, comfort, and style.
ambient lighting package, with its white LED light, stages the interior to great effect, gently illuminating surfaces such as the doors and the instrument panel, making them appear to float. Ensuring all passengers remain cool during the scorching summer months, Audi has included a three-stage ventilation system that makes for very comfortable seating. An optional four-zone climate control further adds to the pleasant atmosphere.
Throughout the day, wherever our eyes landed, they were greeted by high-end materials, decorative inserts, quality trimmings and impressive finishes.
One of our favourite internal features was the leather-wrapped, multi-function, double-spoke steering wheel, complete with shift paddles. Thanks to its outstanding design quality, we can honestly say it is amongst the very finest we have laid our hands on.
Ensuring this new Q8 remains family-friendly, Audi has provided plenty of head, shoulder, knee and foot room for up to five travellers.
An electrically opening and closing luggage compartment with 528 litres of storage space adds to everyday convenience, as does the further 62 litres in the frunk (front trunk).
INTUITIVE TECHNOLOGY & INFOTAINMENT
Audi has always been at the leading edge when it comes to in-car tech, a fact that is very apparent in the new Q8 Sportback e-tron.
The brand’s latest masterpiece is equipped with a fully digital display and operating concept as standard, boasting two MMI touch response displays that are operated similarly to modern smartphones. The upper display features a 10.1-inch screen (diagonal), and the lower, an 8.6-inch screen (diagonal). They replace almost all switches and controls typically seen in cars and offer exceptionally fast and safe operation. We also soon discovered that this impressive system provides haptic and acoustic feedback when requested.
We loved how the virtual exterior mirrors can extend the digital operating window even further. Incorporated into the hexagonal end of their flat supports is a small camera whose digitally processed images are shown on OLED displays in the transition between the instrument panel and door.
Another must-mention touch of class included in this already brilliant setup was the clear and practical Head-up display (HUD) that projects vital data into the driver’s line of site, thereby removing the need to take eyes off the road. We discovered that in addition to touch operation, many functions can be activated using natural voice control.
Another must-mention feature is the Audi virtual cockpit with full HD resolution that displays specific graphics of key parameters for electric driving, from charging power to range. This keeps the driver fully updated on the vehicle’s status at all times.
As far as the infotainment system itself is concerned, the new Audi Q8 e-tron offers an extensive range of features. These include MMI Navigation Plus, LTE Advanced transmission, Wi-Fi hotspot and compatibility with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, amongst many others.
EXCEPTIONAL POWER, PERFORMANCE & BATTERY
Since its conception, Audi has been delivering vehicles that are an absolute pleasure to drive. The new Q8 Sportback e-tron is no exception, as it pushes the brand’s remarkable on-road capabilities further forward.
This exceptional vehicle uses two motors powered by a lithium-Ion battery with a capacity of 114kWh. Featuring the standard Quattro drive, the setup delivers an output of 408hp, enabling it to accelerate from 0-100km/h in an impressive 5.4 seconds and an electronically capped top speed of 200km/h.
As we made our way through the streets, we appreciated the smooth nature of the ride, as well as how responsive the car was. We remarked on both the outstanding suspension system as well as the impressive capabilities of the brakes. One of the standout features was the uniquely designed gear selector that felt ergonomic in hand and allowed for effortless switching of gears. In truth, whilst driving around the city and the
little time we spent off-road, we couldn’t find any real faults in the car’s performance whatsoever. Although we did not travel far enough to deplete the Q8’s battery life, we discovered that it has a superb range of up to 600km on a full charge. Thanks to its maximum charging power of 117kW, the new Q8 Sportback e-tron can charge from 10-80% in around half an hour, while 10 minutes at an HPC charging station will add 123km of range.
DRIVER ASSISTANCE & SAFETY SYSTEMS
It came as no surprise to us that Audi has included a full suite of driver assistance and safety features that greatly contribute towards the well-being of all passengers. Up to five radar sensors, five cameras and 12 ultrasonic sensors register everything happening in the vehicle’s immediate environment, thereby defusing any potentially dangerous situations. The new assistance system in the Q8 e-tron includes Intelligent Park Assist and Remote Park Assist, ensuring parking in tight spaces is a painless endeavour.
OUR VERDICT
In the new Q8 Sportback e-tron, Audi has yet again managed to push the boundaries of what it means to produce a high-end, fully electric vehicle that not only performs as well as its petrol-powered counterparts but does so in absolute style.

MARKING 140 EXCEPTIONAL YEARS
Premium watchmaker Breitling
The limited-edition models of the Premier, Navitimer and Chronomat are equipped with the revolutionary Caliber B19, which promises a century of precision without major adjustments and an impressive 96-hour power reserve.
The company’s CEO, Georges Kern, said: “The Premier, the Navitimer and the Chronomat are the most impactful collections in Breitling’s history. We couldn’t single one out to showcase the new Caliber B19 for our anniversary – it had to be all three.”
Founded in 1884, Breitling is marking its anniversary with a year-long celebration of its ‘140 Years of Firsts’ and the three ‘One of 140’ limited-edition timepieces add to this legacy. Breitling is one of only a handful of independent watch companies producing its own manufacture movements. The new Caliber B19 is the brand’s first exclusive perpetual calendar movement and, naturally, it is also a chronograph – the brand’s speciality from the beginning. It features a full calendar and moonphase, automatically correcting for leap years and months of 28, 30 and 31 days, so it can run for nearly a century without a major adjustment.
Premier B19 Datora 42 140th Anniversary:
The Premier made its debut in 1943 as the watch that took the chronograph out of the cockpit and into society. It was the gentleman’s chronograph, a symbol of good taste that also happened to be a highly functional tool watch. The anniversary edition, in solid 18-carat red gold, retains the Premier’s distinctive Arabic numerals, contrasting minutes scale and signature square pushers. The strap is black alligator leather with elegant tone-on-tone topstitching and an 18- carat gold folding buckle.
Navitimer B19 Chronograph 43 Perpetual
Calendar 140th Anniversary:
The Navitimer was the first watch for pilots to combine a chronograph with the brand’s proprietary wrist-worn circular slide rule. Originally developed in 1952 for members of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA), the Navitimer quickly found favour with a broader audience that included celebrities and astronauts – in 1962 it became the first Swiss wristwatch in space. The anniversary edition features the famous slide rule in black on an attention-grabbing 18-carat red-gold dial.
The strap is alligator leather with contrasting topstitching and an 18-carat gold folding buckle.
Super Chronomat B19 44 Perpetual Calendar 140th Anniversary:
The Chronomat first launched in 1983 as the official watch of Italy’s aerobatics team, the Frecce Tricolori. The popularity of its design led to a wider release a year later. This quartzera timing was significant—the Chronomat was instrumental in restoring the popularity of mechanical chronographs. The anniversary edition features the model’s distinctive design with four raised rider tabs at the 15-minute marks, an ‘onion’ crown and a rubber version of the model’s classic Rouleaux bracelet. Ceramic inserts give it a supercharged look. Plus, it marks another first for Breitling: a dramatic skeletonised dial.
Exclusive Anniversary Collector’s Items
Each anniversary limited-edition is presented with a sumptuous suede-lined wooden watch box that can be configured to display up to three timepieces. Owners will also receive a deluxe edition of the book Breitling: 140 Years in 140 Stories (Rizzoli, 2024) personalised with their selected anniversary piece on the cover.

A RANGE OF NEW LOOKS
The 37mm diameter, selfwinding reference is executed in 18-carat pink gold. Its gold bezel is coated with grey rubber, emphasising the collection’s sportive identity. Its guilloché Grande Tapisserie dial in rhodium and ivory tones is polished for a glowing effect. The pink gold hour-markers and trapezoidal hands with luminescent material complete the colour palette, while the grey inner bezel echoes the rubber-coated bezel and mosaic rubber strap. The model also boasts an additional black mosaic rubber strap for enhanced contrast.
The second selfwinding model features a 43mm case in stainless steel, contrasted by a blue rubber-coated bezel matching the strap. The two-tone aesthetic continues onto the smoked blue Méga Tapisserie dial, which takes centre stage in the three-hands and date format. The trapezoidal hour-markers and Royal Oak hands come in rhodium-toned gold with luminescent material offering optimum readability in the dark. The dial is completed by a blue inner bezel and the AP monogram in polished rhodium-toned gold at 12 o’clock. An additional black rubber strap provides styling contrast.
The 43mm stainless steel Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph inaugurates a matching steel bezel with the crown and push-pieces in black
ceramic. The watch features a smoked bronze Méga Tapisserie dial with darkened edges extending to the black inner bezel, where the tachymeter is printed in white. Similarly, the counters echo the ceramic and inner bezel to enhance readability. The dial is completed with luminescent trapezoidal hour-markers and hands in blackened gold. Fitted on a brown alligator strap with an Oxford hand-finished patina, this model comes with an additional black rubber strap for a sporty aesthetic. Whether in pink gold, stainless steel or ceramic, the case components of these three new models are adorned with the manufacture’s trademark satin-brushed and polished hand-finishing for a constant play of light. Each model is equipped with cutting-edge selfwinding movements. The 37mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding reference is equipped with automatic movement Calibre 5900 indicating hours, minutes, seconds and date. Only 3.9mm thick, it operates at a frequency of 4Hz and has a 60-hour power reserve.
The Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding model in 43mm is powered by Calibre 4302 which offers a 70-hour power reserve.
Finally, the 43mm Royal Oak Offshore Selfwinding Chronograph beats to the rhythm of Calibre 4401, AP’s latest integrated chronograph. This movement features a column wheel with a vertical clutch system to activate, stop and reset the chronograph. The result of hundreds of hours of work, Calibre 4401 offers a unique combination of complications for the manufacture. All three high-performance movements can be admired through the sapphire caseback, revealing the collection’s signature oscillating weight in blackened 22-carat pink gold, along with the components’ refined decorations, vertical, circular and sunray brushing, circular graining and polished chamfers.

The latest collection from dunhill provides a quintessentially British take on sartorial elegance.
New Creative Director Simon Holloway took inspiration from the brand’s extensive archives and tailoring expertise as well as the dunhill pedigree in dressing cultural figures, such as Truman Capote and Frank Sinatra, to reimagine the golden era of Hollywood style.
“dunhill designs for men that enjoy the finer things in life – from motoring, sporting and cultural events through to classic black-tie moments,” says Holloway. “It is what we have always done best. I hope we have re-captured that spirit, one that is at once refined and international.”
Quietly elegant suiting uses fabrics exclusively developed in the heritage mills of Yorkshire, Sussex and Somerset, UK, and Italy’s Biella. Two- and three-piece options join topcoats and formal wear alongside beautifully crafted evening suits
in velvet and three-piece tuxedos evoking a louche formality. Stylish, informal blazers are dressed casually alongside pleated flannel Gurkha trousers, gabardine chinos or distinguished wool-and-cotton denim five-pocket trousers. Tailored jackets, cut to a new Bourdon silhouette, named after the dunhill Bourdon House flagship, are worn with separate trousers.
Throughout, the collection plays with the conventions of classic English dressing – updated for contemporary tastes. An elevated wardrobe for modern gentlemen, dunhill Autumn Winter 2024 is rich, masculine and unashamedly elegant.

A LUXURIOUS NEW DESTINATION
Impeccable hospitality, exceptional service and breathtaking views were on the menu as Apple Sharma embarked on a visit to Bahrain’s newest chic destination.
The summer heat is finally leaving us and if, like me, you've got the post-holiday blues or are simply looking to treat yourself to some rest and relaxation, then look no further than a visit to Conrad Bahrain Financial Harbour, located on the Manama seafront.
I recently had the pleasure of taking a mid-week break at this swanky hotel and experiencing its superb hospitality first-hand.
A Welcoming Retreat
Coming through the revolving doors of the property, we stepped straight into the main lobby where the lovely Adilya Ryspayeva, Food and Beverage Sales Manager, warmly greeted us with bottled water, a welcome respite on a hot day. As we were being swiftly checked in, the friendly Front Office Manager, Mrudu Nair, graciously insisted on a late check out so we could experience the hotel’s comforts at leisure, which we happily accepted.
The reception area, featuring a striking black marble desk and gleaming lighting fixtures, blended modern sophistication with subtle elegance. Contemporary art hung proudly on the walls and throughout the hotel, adding a stylish and cosmopolitan feel to the property.
With a great first impression, the porter escorted us to the buttonless, smart lifts that whisked us off to our room.
Room With a View
Our King Two Bedroom Residential Suite was high up on the 22nd floor of the 25-storeyed hotel. As soon as we entered, the electric curtains parted, with the large floor-to-ceiling windows flooding the space with natural light to reveal sprawling 180-degree views of Bahrain Bay and the city. This was one of the highlights of our stay – we just couldn’t get enough of the breathtaking vistas throughout the suite.
We discovered a welcome plate of beautifully decorated chocolate and petit fours – a lovely touch and a delicious start to our staycation. The thoughtfully designed interior exuded elegance and boasted sleek lines and a sophisticated neutral colour palette of grey, brown and brass with bursts of teal green.
A large sofa bed anchored the living room, complemented by a contemporary coffee table, an accent chair, a plush carpet, decorative pillows and modern art – an inviting arrangement ideal for relaxation and social gatherings. A sleek entertainment centre, with a large 65-inch HDTV, separated the living area from a small conversation nook with comfortable seating.
The airy, open-plan design flowed seamlessly into the dining area, which featured a curved six-seater table, paired with teal upholstered chairs and a minimalist chandelier hanging above. Meanwhile, the functional kitchenette, with dark wood cabinetry and essential appliances, included tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, oven, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer and even
pots, pans, plates and cutlery.
Our suite had two bedrooms, both with en-suite bathrooms and a separate guest washroom. The master bedroom provided stunning panoramic views of the cityscape and was beautifully decorated with swan-shaped towel art and rose petals, creating a romantic setting. The centrepiece was the luxurious king-sized bed, which had a circular decorative panel above the headboard and a cushioned, teal footboard bench.
The room was furnished with sleek nightstands with brass, pendulum-like bedside lamps and a small work desk. A plush, curved sofa by the window provided a cosy spot to relax and enjoy the splendid view. The fitted wardrobes, with ample space, housed bathrobes, slippers, a hairdryer and a small safe.
The modern bathrooms were tastefully designed with both a hand and rain shower, along with a bathtub in the master en suite. I loved the lavish amenities from the European luxury brand, BYREDO, which had a lovely mild fragrance that lingered on my skin for hours.
The meticulously equipped suite, which sleeps five, is ideal for a family staycation or an indulgent couple’s retreat for a special occasion.
Café Tomo
After a tour of the room, we headed down to Café Tomo for a quick pick-me-up. This openplan coffee shop on the lobby level, surrounded by high ceilings and a grand staircase, continued the chic design found throughout the hotel. A stylish and cosy spot, the café offers tea, coffee and fresh juices, along with a selection of overthe-counter cakes, pastries and cookies. We opted for zataar and chocolate croissants and the lemon, pecan and chocolate chip cookies, all of which went down a treat with our rich and perfectly blended Americanos.
Recreation and Leisure
During our stay, we had the opportunity to try the 24-hour, fully equipped fitness room, located on the 24th floor, featuring state-of-the-art exercise equipment. Usually, I’m not overly eager to jump on a treadmill but I have to admit, there was something very uplifting and motivating about working out with the stunning skyline outside. With separate facilities for men and women, we relaxed our sore muscles, post-workout, by unwinding in the peaceful steam and sauna rooms, which again offered incredible city views, for a truly meditative experience.
Finally, we headed to the rooftop on the 25th floor, adjacent to SUSHISAMBA. This spot is famous for its prominent flame orange-coloured tree by the pool. Standing tall and visible from the highway below, it’s like a beacon, beckoning diners to the lively world of SUSHISAMBA.
The outdoor pool, with its 360-degree views of downtown Manama, was a sight to behold and looked especially spectacular at sunset – truly Instagram-worthy and not to be missed!
SUSHISAMBA
For dinner, we eagerly ventured to SUSHISAMBA to experience its unique culinary concept. With excellence at its heart, this international brand is a tri-cultural restaurant and entertainment venue offering dishes from Japanese, Brazilian and Peruvian cuisine.
Entering the venue, the soulful and energetic
vibe was immediately apparent. The courteous Restaurant Manager, Mina Mishelle, gave us a quick tour – the Amazonian-inspired décor, with its lush foliage, green and terracotta colour scheme and lively South American music, was ideal for dinner. The sophisticated yet cosy fine dining setting featured an impressive open kitchen, dim lighting and intimate table arrangements that offered spectacular nighttime views. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant that balances food, music and ambience so well. I absolutely loved its unique vibe – it certainly ticked all my boxes for a great night out!
The friendly and enthusiastic Executive Chef, Sergio Medina, greeted us at our table, briefed us about the cuisine and gave us his recommendations. We tried a variety of expertly prepared dishes, with the standouts being Salmon Ceviche, Vegetable Taquitos, Black Cod with Aji Rice and Samba Veggie, all paired deliciously with Sambatini mocktails. We finished our meal on a sweet note with assorted mochi – our stomachs and souls perfectly satiated. Truly one of the major highlights of our stay, the restaurant delivered exactly what it promised, exceptional food, creative drinks and service to match.
Trade Room
After our sumptuous feast, we briefly stopped by the Trade Room on the mezzanine floor. A classy bar-lounge, its bank theme featured mock safes and unique ornamental pieces.
As soon as we entered, we were greeted by a large gold vault, which can be used to store guests’ precious belongings. The entrance had sliding smoke doors that ensured privacy for guests and prevented smoke from escaping the bar. The mood lighting, thick maroon curtains and soft background music created an intimate ambience, perfect for a nightcap or a quiet evening with friends. The lounge offers light bites and a wide variety of beverages, including mixed drinks and mocktails. We opted for Coco and Berry Garden, delightful mocktails that were a fitting end to a very enjoyable evening.
Breakfast
The next morning, we returned to SUSHISAMBA for breakfast and enjoyed a lavish spread featuring a variety of croissants, pastries and bagels, continental delicacies, made-to-order eggs, fresh cheeses, breakfast tacos and Arabic dishes, as well as other delicious accompaniments. The welcoming staff also offered us a fresh ginger and kale concoction to kick-start our morning, along with a map of Bahrain with a QR code for top places to visit – a nice touch, especially for newcomers. All too quickly, our visit came to an end. From luxuriously elegant suites with stunning views to exceptional dining and impeccable hospitality, every detail ensured we had an enjoyable and memorable experience. Thank you, Conrad Bahrain Financial Harbour, we’ll be back!

CELEBRATING 100 YEARS
GOING UP IN THE WORLD
Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort has a prime position atop one of Oman’s highest mountains. Fernanda Langhammer took a trip to this magical place for a memorable stay with her family.
If you ask anyone who lives in the Middle East, which is the country in the region that is a must-visit? The answer is unanimous: Oman. The sultanate has a large area with a lot to offer, from rich nature and pristine beaches to mountain destinations with incredible canyons and wadis. I headed there to visit the acclaimed Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort, located at 2,000m above the sea level, at the tip-top of Jebel Akhdar Mountain, which is part of the Al Hajar Mountain Range – with one of the most amazing views I have ever seen in my life. My trip occurred during high summer, but at Al Jabal, the temperature is always very pleasant (it can get quite chilly during winter) and the weather was absolutely perfect.
But before we got there, a two-hour journey from Muscat International Airport onboard Anantara's comfortable four-by-four vehicle was required. The drive was pleasant and from the car's window, I could see the landscape changing. The road gets quite steep, but I felt very safe as behind the wheel was a very experienced driver who had done this route many times.
We arrived quite late at the resort and after a smooth check-in done by smiley Rajib, we went straight to dinner at Al Maisan restaurant. It was Asian Buffet Night and the food selection was more than we could have asked for, even with our big appetites. Our party of four had a few items that were must-tries: the wakame salad, made with edible seaweed, and the glass noodle salad, which was delicious and refreshing with a nice crunch. We are big fans of Japanese food and the sashimi and sushi, especially the unagi nigiri, were beautifully prepared.
Home From Home
That was the sign on the bathroom mirror, and we felt exactly like that after we entered the massive two-bedroom villa with garden views. By the main door, a wooden plaque with my surname painted in pink signalled our refuge for two days. The first thing I saw when I stepped inside the villa was the incredible private pool across the living and dining area. It was beautifully illuminated, and the big dark ceramic tiles in green and blue tones transformed the place into a whimsical paradise. The first thing the kids did was to get changed and jump in the pool – yes, nighttime swim.
The villa is composed of a master suite on the right side with two closets, a washroom with a walk-in shower and a bathtub, two sinks and a make-up mirror. On the left side, a twin bedroom with its own bathroom with two sinks and a huge shower – it was perfect for our family with plenty of space. Not only were the rooms spacious, but the common area, where we spent most of the time, had plenty of seats and a dining table for six people. The décor is stunning, with stone ceramic floors in the living areas and wet spaces and dark wood in the bedrooms. Wooden panels and Arabic elements throughout the villa with indirect lighting give a luxurious yet cosy touch. That night of sleep was splendid; the bed linen was very soft and they had a pillow menu with many options. I requested a memory foam
pillow, which came to our villa in no time before my eyes shut.
The Next Day
Waking up in a place like Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar makes you feel instantly grateful and full of joy. On our way to breakfast at Al Maisan (with all sorts of breakfast staples such as fruits, yoghurts, cereal, bread and live egg preparations, but also Indian and Asian stations with delicacies from these regions), we could appreciate the hotel's beautiful design, green garden terraces and we finally had a peek at the breathtaking view. We walked to Diana's Point, which is believed to be the place that Princess Diana visited in the company of the then Prince Charles, in 1986. The Royal couple would have walked the flat slabs of rock to the edge of the canyon to appreciate the splendid view, and this is where the resort now stands. Next to it, an immense infinity-edge pool faces the rock formation, giving you a sense of plenitude and the feeling of being on top of the world. The heart of the resort is the grand central courtyard, which evokes the Moorish architecture off Alhambra, Spain, with a fire pit in the centre for evenings of Bedouin storytelling. The plentiful fruit trees, flowers and a chef's garden create the perfect environment for the numerous butterflies and birds. Walking through the many pathways was one of my favourite things to do during our stay.
Beyond The Stay
If you are one of those people who can't stay still and you need to keep yourself busy, even when you could just spend the day cherishing spectacular views, there are several daily activities. You find bicycles that you can grab and ride or electric scooters for rent, archery, rock climbing and various different hikes. We went on the Three Village Tour, which included a town with locals and two abandoned villages. One is Wadi Bani Habib, and our guide, Hussain, was the absolute best. He is from the region and knows the place very well, so he took us on unexplored paths by the irrigation system where we had perfect views of the construction and passed by many fruit trees, such as pomegranate and local specimens. It was an unforgettable experience. Another must-do activity is to embark on a pampering session at Anantara Spa. I went for the Anantara Signature Massage, which combines Eastern and Western techniques to stimulate circulation and deeply relax the muscles. Reflexology is also used to clear blockages of energy and promote overall wellbeing. Benny, my therapist, asked which areas I would like her to focus on and I picked my upper back and legs. She also gave me the option of using coconut or lavender oil, and I picked the latter because of its relaxing properties. It was such an amazing massage, such that the rest of the family also went for it. We were all relaxed enjoying our private pool and lovely weather. I decided to use the gym to return to my exercise routine; apart from all the usual gym equipment, there is a climbing wall where my son had loads of fun. I also found a games room and a kids' club in the gym building complex.
Nourishing the Body
There are six restaurants and lounges at Anantara
Bella Vista is an Italian eatery with relaxed décor, inside seats, and a terrace leading to Diana's Point. The menu brings all the comforting Italian staples, vegan options and much more. We chose a selection of dishes; however, the star plate was the grilled octopus with Romanesco sauce and baby potatoes with a smoked paprika touch. The octopus was cooked to perfection and the smoky flavour just made us fight for the last piece. We also ordered the homemade potato gnocchi (I am a huge gnocchi enthusiast) in tomato sauce with parmesan shavings and it was as comforting as I expected. The Mediterranean seabass fillet, with tomato and caper sauce on top of baby potatoes was the other item, the seabass was fresh with crunchy skin and soft meat. The meal was very light and perfect for our lunch break.
Al Qalaa has a fine dining vibe. The signature restaurant is housed in a free-standing tower that takes inspiration from the iconic architecture of Khasab Castle in Musandam, northern Oman. The interior is grand; the geometric floor in black and gold was paired beautifully with the red chairs. Many Arabic elements decorate the space, indicating the cuisine we would find on the menu. Megin, the restaurant's supervisor, helped us and we had a mix of signature dishes, such as The Black Hummus with local black garlic and baklava chips, and Shuwa Lamb Shank, marinated in Omani spices and slow cooked for 12 hours. The black garlic added a hint of sweetness to
the hummus and was delicious. The lamb was so soft, falling from the bone and melting in the mouth with delectable flavours. We also had the seafood platter, eggplant puree and the halloumi and beetroot salad. From the sweet options, we went for Um Ali (a family favourite) and Kunafa. They were both spectacular, and the Um Ali was probably the best I have ever had. I was so glad when Chef Sayed came to greet us so we could personally thank him for the fantastic meal served.
So Long!
Our two days at Anantara Al Jabal Al Akhdar Resort passed in the blink on an eye, but we enjoyed every second of it. It was a fantastic experience, and I must say that the views of the canyon will stay with me forever. If you are looking for a perfect escape, there is no better place to go – fabulous weather, delicious food and a deep sense of serenity. We are already planning another visit soon.

QUALITY, COMFORT AND EXCLUSIVITY
With the relaunch of La Table Krug, at The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain, Liz O’Reilly discovered a haven of understated luxury married with exquisite cuisine.
La Table Krug, of which the Bahrain version is one of only four worldwide, first launched in 2019 with just 16 seats and serving a menu paired with the inimitable, premium French bubbly brand. It later moved to The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain’s beachside setting as a bistro pop-up and this proved so popular, that it’s back in the original location, with the neighbouring La Med doing double duty as the bistro in the evenings.
I was delighted to visit on the opening night of La Table Krug, the 2024 version, to experience Chef de Cuisine Alexis Knecht’s exquisitely crafted tasting menu – which, for a venue of this quality, is surprisingly affordable offering both three- and five-course options.
The entryway, found outside of the main hotel and offering a tantalising glimpse of the gardens and pool, is flanked by a deep red carpet, giving notice of the delights within and the partnership with the historic French beverage house, whose founder, Joseph Krug, is proudly displayed in portrait form inside.
La Table offers nothing short of a multi-sensory French epicurean experience, encapsulated in a truly luxurious, classically European atmosphere. Starched white linens give an air of elegance while wood-panelled walls, marble floors and crystal chandeliers enclosed in an intimately small space, give a feeling of dining in a turn of the 20th century upper-class home.
The restaurant still seats just 16 extremely lucky diners and deeply cushioned velvet chairs and sofas whisper of luxury as does the simple but chic décor, abundance of fresh flowers, heavy, golden-bronze flatware and exquisite Bernardaud Limoges porcelain tableware.
My dining companion and I were joined by the hotel’s Director of Food and Beverage William Fily, who told us of his pride at the relaunch – though La Table never really went away, it has continued to serve private parties since its launch – and his plans for further developments across the property.
First to our table came large chunks of housemade sourdough bread with cumin seeds, the warm, crunchy crust demanding our attention and the ponzu butter accompaniment rendering us all momentarily silent.
Soon we were treated to an interesting amuse bouche of green pea mousse topped with Royal Cristal Caviar. The mousse was almost impossibly creamy and light, the delicate pearls of the fish roe imparting an exciting pop of salty flavour and the whole making for a perfect mouthful with the sourdough, to which I returned several times during the evening.
Our first appetiser was the dill-cured Scottish salmon with wasabi, beetroot, coriander and sweet apple. The curing process imparted a deliciously smoky flavour while the heat of the wasabi, a perfect accompaniment, cut through the rich texture of the fish perfectly playing against the sweetness of the apple and the earthy beetroot. Truly a small serving of heaven which looked every bit as good as it
tasted and provided a wonderful combination of textures and tastes.
My dining companions had foie gras from Périgord which was creamy, smooth and deeply flavoursome, served atop a brioche bun with mango, figs and poached fruits – an unusual but successful pairing.
I had shrimps in the chef’s secret recipe garlic and lemon butter topped with tomato confit. This dish was divine, the crustaceans perfectly cooked, their flesh melting and beautifully coated in the rich buttery sauce, which was the star of the show.
Onto the mains and the seabass was a triumph, the tasty, crispy skin providing a delightful textural foil to the firm and flaky flesh. The fish was served with a flavoursome green sauce concocted from basil and bubbly, giving it a unique piquancy that demanded complete attention. Chunky leeks beneath offered an excellent contrast and a bell pepper topping added a subtle but welcome hint of sweetness.
The US Prime beef tenderloin was the pièce de résistance. Buttery smooth and deeply earthy in flavour, it hardly needed chewing and yielded to our knives with just the slightest hint of pressure. The accompanying Sichuan pepper and teriyaki sauces were tasty but, truly, unnecessary due to the quality of the meat, simply there to add a touch of drama in the pouring. And the truffle mash, so velvety and mellow. The crunchy asparagus and fruity accompaniment delightfully cut through the richness of the steak and sauce.
A palate cleanser of lemon-mint sorbet was served in dramatic fashion providing a delightful show with helium infused mint bubbles, from a newly arrived Vom machine, being skilfully sliced and floated around the room by the chef. I have to admit, this seemed a little incongruous given the elegance of the setting but it certainly added an air of levity and fun to the proceedings.
Last to arrive at the table was the dessert. Of course, we were full but you all know about the separate sweet stomach by now, and I could not leave without at least trying the decadent Valrhona chocolate lava sponge accompanied by passionfruit sorbet which actually contained roasted passionfruit seeds. As the molten interior oozed from within, suffice to say, my dessert stomach excelled itself and managed to finish the whole portion, which was a delicious indulgence and the perfect conclusion to an outstanding repast.
La Table Krug’s tasting menu is meticulously crafted, each course a showcase for the chef’s creativity and the quality of the ingredients. From the quietly opulent surroundings to the excellence of the service and the indulgent menu, it is an exquisite taste of France right here in Bahrain.

A PRIME DINING EXPERIENCE
Mr. Tailor Steakhouse, at the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, served up culinary mastery coupled with understated elegance when AMS visited.
As we stepped into the embrace of Mr. Tailor Steakhouse, within the Rixos Gulf Hotel Doha, the immediate sense was one of understated elegance. The dining area was adorned with plush cream chairs that stood around polished wooden tables. A striking chandelier descended from the vaulted ceiling, its luminescence spilling over the scene, casting a welcoming glow on the emerald green accents that lined the room. We were seated in an intimate corner, where the walls bore a collection of monochrome photographs, reminiscent of classic Hollywood glamour. This visual narrative complemented the contemporary, warm tones of the restaurant, creating an ambience that was both nostalgic and chic.
Appetising Introductions
Our smiling waitress presented us with a choice of water or soft drinks and deftly laid out the house bread. The golden loaf bore a resemblance to a croissant with an artful twist. The layers, when pulled apart, revealed a flaky, tender texture. Each bite released a rich, buttery essence that lingered on the palate. Just as we were mopping up the last few crumbs, the starters graced our table, unfolding in a gastronomic deluge.
The Hokkaido Scallop revealed itself as a pearl of the sea, cradled by its shell, accompanied by the earthy whispers of Matsutake mushroom and crowned with jewel-like ikura caviar (salmon roe), each element a note in a seaside serenade. The Wagyu Roll introduced a new dimension with layers of thinly sliced Wagyu beef striploin, rich and robust, intertwined with creamy avocado and crispy fried asparagus, crafting a mosaic of textures and flavours. Finally, Beef Cecina offered a narrative of tradition redefined, with Tête de Moine cheese unfurling like delicate rosettes, pickled vegetables providing a tangy counterpoint and kumquat chutney painting a bittersweet picture on the plate. The quality of ingredients and attention to minute details made an immediate impression.
Artisanal Insights
We were keen to meet the person behind the gastronomic magic. Chef Ramesh, originally from Sri Lanka, is a seasoned professional after years of culinary craftsmanship in Doha. He shared that everything we were savouring was made from scratch in-house. He spoke with pride about the restaurant’s exquisite dry-aged beef and his approach to blending Eastern and Western flavours, creating a tapestry of taste.
Signature Selections
Chef told us to settle back and prepare ourselves for the mains. There would be ‘no holding back’, he assured us, and he wasn’t joking. We started with Black Angus Back Ribs, their succulence a testament to the perfection achieved through 48 hours of sous vide cooking. The honey glaze was not just a topping but a seal of sweet caramelisation that intertwined with the deep smokiness, while the house corn offered a comforting, charred sweetness that perfectly balanced the robustness of the meat. Next, was a Butcher Feast for Two. Each cut, from the striploin to the tenderloin, was a masterstroke of seasoning and precision cooking, presented to us as a showcase of the finest meats. The sides were not mere afterthoughts; the jasmine rice was an elegant bed adorned with a rich quail egg, the fermented cabbage added a bright acidity and the king oyster mushrooms provided a meaty texture, leaving us in silent appreciation of the harmony on our plates.
Just when we thought we had ascended to meat heaven, we were treated to the Wagyu Filet 8+, the embodiment of culinary opulence. Our forks tenderly sunk into the marbled treasure, echoing tales of verdant pastures. Each cut, immersed in the luscious depth of bone marrow, was a testament to its buttery texture. Beside it, king oyster mushrooms stood regally, their earthiness contrasting with the meat’s richness. The vibrant chimichurri draped over, weaving through the flavours with a light, herbaceous twang, ensuring each indulgent mouthful was as balanced as it was sumptuous.
International Appeal
While dining, we had the pleasure of meeting a couple vacationing in Doha. Their delight in the dishes mirrored our own, serving as a testament to the international appeal of the restaurant. Like us, they were enamoured by the tradition of impeccably prepared meat dishes, a hallmark of Rixos, the Turkish brand
under whose banner the restaurant thrives. It was a shared experience that echoed the crosscultural culinary conversation the establishment is known for.
Decadent Delights
Our desserts continued the impressive lineup that had already come before. The Belgian Chocolate Raspberry Cake was a canvas of contrasts, with the deep velvety chocolate ganache and the tart raspberry jam creating a vibrant mosaic, punctuated by crispy raspberry pieces that added an unexpected textural delight. In a nod to tradition, the final offering was a Pistachio Carrot Slice Baklava – a departure to the realm of nutty and sweet. Each layer of the pastry was a testament to the fine balance of flavour and crunch. Paired with Maraş ice cream, it was a fitting finale that melded the warmth of the East with the coolness of a classic dessert. Mr. Tailor Steakhouse stands as a beacon of culinary finesse in Doha’s vibrant dining scene. The undeniable skill woven into each dish places it shoulder-to-shoulder with the city’s most esteemed eateries. With a variety of dining sections, catering to families, older couples and young diners alike, the restaurant has broad appeal and should rightfully feature on the discerning diner’s list. A visit to Mr. Tailor Steakhouse is an exploration of taste, where each dish celebrates the chef’s flair and secures the restaurant’s place as a must-visit destination for epicureans of all ages.
