How did it come into being? I have always had a strong passion for kids and my country so I always planned to do something that involved the both of them. When I heard about the Chancellor College Students with dreams Grant I thought it would be a perfect way to get started sooner and I could interlink the two. So I applied with my dream, tsogolo lathu to help empower secondary school kids, and I was fortunate enough to be one of the dreams that got picked. You mentioned that you have because I believe any form of charity always had a passion for kids, begins at home. What challenges has Tsogolo Lathu Rhythm met along the way? When you first begun to share I think one of the major challenges your idea to others, what was the was getting everybody on board with reception like? what our true vision was, because at Well people were very receptive the start there were slight actually. I think at first they might misunderstandings with that. Once we not have taken me seriously but worked with the kids, it was truly clear when we actually started doing to everyone that we are doing tangible things that people could something that's bigger than us so from there everything was resolved.

I want to take Tsogolo Lathu the whole thing in a positive way.

Right actress and you are a former bba housemate, how does it feel to have now acting is my favorite because I'm achieved that much success at a young rediscovering myself through it. age? I feel extremely Blessed. Especially There are some young girls out there who say because I achieved all that in South Africa,“when A I grow up I want to be an actress or I wa country I call my second home. to be famous”, were you like that growing up? No, growing up I admired a lot of political figures, for me being famous meant making a difference in someone else's life. I always thought I was going to be involved in politics somehow. For me, that was more than enough.
You’re an Angolan girl in South Africa, what was behind the move to SA? Well because Angola had a civil war for so man years, the education system was lacking a lot, my initial reason for coming to SA was to get a better education.
So you have a marketing degree and yet you are a television host, a model, an actress. How did that happen? By chance or by Fate. I'm not quite sure which yet. In my last year of college I was introduced t Television, I fell in love with it, it felt natural and right, from there I found myself doing modeling, and next thing I knew, a passion for acting emerged... And the rest as they say is history.
Runway Duchess 34
Were you also doing some acting and modeling while you were in college? The closest I came to modeling in colle was a Beauty Pageant I entered. I hated I wasn't comfortable in my own skin yet, I told myself that wasn't for me, closed that chapter and went back to focusing on my books. I did no acting in college.
How has your journey towards showbiz been like? What challenges did you mee along the way? It has been a rough journey, with a lot ups and downs... My main challenges we having an accent, not being South African, not really knowing the right people in the entertainment industry, bu that all worked itself out, with God’s gra and a lot of hard work I believe one can anything they set their mind to.
What moments can you say have been your career highlights so far? Career highlight for me was acting in Inkaba, because once the passion for acting emerged, there's nothing more I wanted than the escape and satisfactio acting gave me. Personal highlight thou was doing big brother. I believe anyone that can live in that house and come ou sane is victorious already.
"Hard work and determination beats talent and laziness."
What has been the most challenging pa of being a public figure? Having people want to constantly know every aspect of my life. I know it comes with the territory but it's not easy choos what to share with the world and then keeping private what you don't want anyone to know.
How do you manage to keep your personal life away from the public eye?

Hard work and determination beats et talent and laziness. The fewer friends of you have the better, I've learned to keep eremy opinions about others to myself and not try to compete with anyone. I run my own race, at my own pace. ut aceDo you ever feel like just leaving all this n dobehind and live a normal life back in Angola? I've thought about it many times, especially when things weren't going the way I wanted, wished or expected. But that would mean quitting, which is something I refuse to ever do in my life. I do what I do because I love it, it brings me on joy, it comes with hardships as with ugh everything else in life, but it's worth it! i'm e not the "easy way out" kind of girl. ut Aside from family and friends, what else about Angola do you miss living in art Johannesburg? The Ocean and the food! w You have been known to be quite the singfashionista? Is fashion something that you have always loved or did you pick it up in line with your work? I picked it up with my line of work. In my teens I was a sneakers and jeans kind of girl, I thought I had fashion sense but ? looking back at some pictures I see it was a total fail every time. fashionTHROWBACK HALLE BERRY at the 2002 oscars Halle Berry made history back in 2002 when she won an academy award for best actress in a leading role for her performance in Monster's Ball. She became the first AfricanAmerican woman to win in that category and remains the only one to do so as of 2014

For the event, Halle was exquisitely styled. She wore an Elie Saab dress th showed off her amazing body. The burgundy gown featured a sheer bodice and a full skirt.
As of 2014 this dress remains one of the best-known Oscar dresses of all time. The strategic embroidering that still left something to the imaginatio while still highlighting one of Halle's best assest was one of the highlights this impeccable design. The material on the bottom gave her hips and leg great shape.
