Week 4&5Model making

Model 1

• •

the triangles separate the space for different products to be in certain sections This makes it unique as the shelves are represented in an unusual way which may grab customers attentions The counter is also unique as its no regular one and could be an interesting way for customers to purchase and pay for their items The theme of the store is sort of geometrical and can also come under as flow and movement Certain triangles can be used as working benches for the main interactive activity which is baking/cooking classes This structure can also be inspired by the museum , the louvre

Development of model 1 • •

• •

Some of the triangle shapes are used form the previous model but used differently and create a different sense of place Each shelve can represent a certain product as the store is divided into sections which can help customers find their product which they need and are searching for The theme of the store can come under as flow and movement as they are very angular and geometrical Again, some of the triangles can be used in a different way to create an interactive working benches for people to bake/cook

Model 2 • The theme or form of the store •

can be seen as flow and movement as the structures which make up s place all flow and move in a certain way This is unique as the starts divides the sore into two separate floors which can be seen The counter can also be seen as usual as it matches the form of the whole store as they are all very similar and link to each other There is also enough walking space and room for customers to roam around the store without bumping into furniture and waiting in ques The round circular tables can be created into much more to make working benches for baking/cooking This structure can also be inspired by the museum The Dali

Working / interactive benches scan be used and made with this structure

Development of model 2 •

• • •

the store can be seen as a fashion store or a food store as the furniture and space can be used as both the theme for this model is also flow and movement which we can infer from all the different Curvey and round shapes The model is unique as it consists of a 2 floored store which can be divided by the unusual spiral staircase which is placed in the centre of the store People and Treese are also included in the sketches We could add shelves in between the round circles to create a sense of place There is also a unique counter which matches the theme of flow and movement in the store which is practical and useful Another structure which would need to be added into the sketches would be the interactive working benches for cooking and baking

model 3 •

This model can be seen as two forms which can be organic or flow & movement which are both quite similar and unique The counter creates a space where customers can place their purchases easily and pay There is also quite a tall square structured shelves which products can be placed around it easily and be seen There is also a use of geometric triangles to again create unique structures which can be seen as shelves or more The sqaure structure can also inspire the working or interactive benches which would need to be added to the sketches

Sketch up model The dispensers where also inspired from the m&m store

These shelves I had made in one of my previous model

here we can see the unique shelves that are located on the wall, there are also a few circular tables where products can be placed

Click to add text

we can identify both floors of the store

food utensils and product scan be put on the shelves for display and on the circular tables

Here we can see the counter and the spiral staircase which leads to the second floor This is the second floor where an interactive activity takes place which is baking and cooking classes closer look to the stairs and the workstations where cooking and baking classes take place

Closer look of the counter and the food dispensers and shelves
