Warriors Watch by Wayne “Rock” (of the Marne) Lutz
Supporting our Nations Warriors Motorcyclists and Bike Builders
Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina and as far away as Texas - all to converge on Walter Reed. There, from 1130 to 1400 we will host a BBQ Lunch for 200 wounded. Riding with us will also be bike-builders from” Bikes Built Better, in Horsham, Pa.” Once at Walter Reed, these builders will give talks to the wounded on the various ways that a motorcycle (or Trike) might be modified for use by amputees. The ultimate purpose is to give hope and motivation to some of these brave young men and women - to give them a goal to shoot for, and ultimately to help them heal. Our BBQ will be provided by an approved caterer because the menu must be controlled, and the cost is $12 a head. We are inviting YOU to ride with us, and asking each person who comes with us to pay $12 for your own lunch and $12 each for two wounded warriors, a total of $36. Remember, this is NOT a fund raiser; we are simply passing the hat to pick up the tab for the BBQ lunch. Far more important will be the chance to mingle with these heroes, to let them see and talk about our motorcycles, and to tell them about modifications for various disabilities. This will be a great day for all of us, and the beginning of an on-going project. In time we will take our “bike show” to wounded warriors all around the country. Please join us – everyone, even in cars, is invited. Contact me at my email address, lutz@warriorswatch.org for details and information on how to pay for your lunch. (If you can’t make the ride, you can still buy lunch for one or two or more wounded.) You and I know how healing and therapeutic it can be to be “in the wind.” Riding heals. I believe that. Let us take that healing to those who risked everything for us – the future Wounded Warrior Riders of Walter Reed Army Medical Center. See the Wounded Warrior Rider Project website at www.wwrproject.org
Giving hope to Wounded Warriors By Wayne Lutz
In the course of my troop-support work I have come to know many American Warriors. I’ve met soldiers who are happy to be home, I’ve met warriors who are depressed and having a hard time re-adjusting to life back in “the world.” I’ve also met wounded warriors, some missing arms or legs. Some of the severely wounded being treated at places like Walter Reed Army Medical Center used to ride, or were hoping to begin to ride when they were finished their military duty. Some even have a motorcycle waiting for them in the garage at home, but the explosion that blew their limbs off also snuffed out their hopes for riding in the future. The trauma of the injuries lasts for months, gradually giving way to hope through surgeries, prosthetic devices, and therapy. But then, two or three years down the road, depression grabs them and won’t let go. They begin to realize that the loss of their legs is forever. Many Vietnam Veterans with similar injuries ended their lives in poverty, through addiction, turning to crime, causing broken families. 58 thousand died in Vietnam. More than twice that number committed suicide since the war ended. Others are homeless and hopeless. I see it as the duty of today’s healthy Vietnam Vets to do two things – care for their brothers who need a handout, and make damned sure that the same fate does not await today’s warriors. If 40 years from now the veterans of this generation are homeless and addicted, it will be our fault for failing them. We know what will happen to them if we don’t act because it happened to us. We can stop it from happening to them. One way in which I hope to help some of the most severely wounded is through a new effort called the Wounded Warrior Riders Project. Some of these warriors, as I said, either used to ride or had hoped to ride motorcycles. The Wounded Warrior Riders Project, co-founded by me and Major Ed Kennedy, US Army, is preparing a large motorcycle ride. On May 16, a Sunday, we will set out from all compass points - Philadelphia, New Jersey, Delaware,
Photo #1 The procession that brought Sgt. Nick McCoy from the Airport to Alsace Township was almost a mile long. Photo#2 Sgt. Nick McCoy, US Army, is greeted by riders and press at the Philadelphia International Airport. Sgt. McCoy had come home for Christmas, for the first time since loosing both legs in an IED explosion in Iraq.

Politics Biker Style
by Charles Umbenhaur A.B.A.T.E.
Motorcyclists have been engaged with PennDOT seeking to make a change in the regulations that would allow the vertical mounting of motorcycle license plates. Presently, the regulation states that a registration plate must be mounted in a horizontal position. We would simply suggest adding the words “or vertical position” to the regulation. Many of today’s high end custom motorcycles mount their registration plate in the vertical manner for cosmetic reasons. Also, some of today’s high tech paint jobs can cost thousands of dollars and therefore the motorcyclist prefers not to drill holes and mount a license plate to the fender. Since we began our dialogue with PennDOT they have advised us that they are not opposed to a regulation change allowing for the vertical orientation of a license plate on motorcycles if law enforcements concerns with readability of the license plate can be addressed. Since PennDOT does not oppose this action and the vertical mounting of the registration plate does not present any safety hazards or other concerns, we went seeking the Pennsylvania State Police’s approval and cooperation in the regulation change. Here is the response from Major Harvey Cole, Jr. Director Bureau of Patrol. “The Pennsylvania State Police and PennDOT have conversed previously in regards to placement of motorcycle license plates. Currently, the law is for the license plate to be mounted in a horizontal position. The Pennsylvania State Police are opposed to any change that would permit the registration plate to be mounted in a vertical position, due to the fact that the law enforcements’ current technology is limited to only be able to be read when the registration plate is mounted horizontally.” Unfortunately, for the time being that is the end of our attempt to change this regulation. That decision has to do with the number of other issues presently on our agenda and the impending Primary and General Election later this year. In addition, support for this issue from motorcyclists in general was poor. If objections do not come from the riding public, then a change is unwarranted. If that situation changes in the future, we will consider introducing a bill in the next session to attempt to allow the vertical mounting of motorcycle license plates. In the meantime, if you have objections or concerns for this issue or others relating to motorcycling, I strongly suggest that you plan on attending the annual Motorcyclists Rights Rally in Harrisburg that will be held on Monday, May 24, 2010 at Noon in the State Capitol building. Where Were You? Bikes and a Baseball Stadium – What do they have in common? Bike Night in York, once a month, on Friday nights, that’s what. On April 9th many of us braved the 50 degree temperature and entered the bike show held at the Sovereign Bank Stadium presented by the York Motorcycle Club. Yes there was talk among us about the various bikes that kept showing up, but most of the conversations I heard were about the 80 degree weather we had just the day before! The show was held from 5:00-8:00PM. DJ Joe kept the music sounding in the air. This was a good excuse to jump around and keep warm. You can also call it dancing. Awards were handed out at the end of the evening. Before I knew it, dusk was upon us. I changed my riding glasses and hit the road for the c-o-l-d ride home. See You in the Fast Lane! HUMOR IN THE FAST LANE
Compiled by the Chief
All jokes are submitted by our readers. We dont know where they came from or who wrote them. Just enjoy!!!
. POOF! With the blink of the Genie’s eye, the land in Australia was forever fertile for farming. . Osama was amazed, so he said, ‘I want a wall around Afghanistan, Palestine, Iraq and Iran so that no infidels, Americans or Australians can come into our precious land.’ POOF! Again, with the blink of the Genie’s eye, there was a huge wall around those countries. . The Biker says,’I am very curious. Please tell me more about this wall.’ The Genie explains, ‘Well, it’s about 5,000 feet high, 5oo feet thick and completely surrounds the country. Nothing can get in or out; it’s virtually impenetrable.’. The Biker sits down on his Harley, cracks a beer, lites a joint, smiles and says, ‘Fill it with water.’ .
Four girlfriends spend weeks planning the perfect girls getawayTrip - Shopping, casinos, massages, facials. Two days before the group is to leave Mary’s husband puts his Foot down and tells her she isn’t going. Mary’s friends are very upset that she can’t go, but what can They do. Two days later the three get to the hotel only to find Mary sitting in the Bar drinking a glass of wine. “Wow, how did you talk your husband into letting you go?” Yesterday Evening I was sitting on the couch and my husband came up behind me and put his hands over my eyes and said ‘Guess who’?” I find all he was wearing was his Birthday suit. He took my hand and led me to our bedroom. The room was scented with Perfume, had two dozen candles and rose petals all over.....On the bed, he had handcuffs and ropes! He told me to tie and cuff him To the Bed, so I did. And then he said, “Now, you can do whatever you want.” So here I am.
Now that food has replaced sex in my life, I can’t even get into my own pants. I saw a woman wearing a sweat shirt with “Guess” on it. So I said “Implants?” She hit me.
The difference between a regular fairytale and a bikerfairytale is; regular fairytale begins...’Once upon a time...’ biker fairytale begins.... ‘Y’all ain’t gonna believe this shit.’
A biker’s greatest achievement was his brood of six kids. He was so proud that he continually called his wife: Mother of Six, which pissed her off a lot. But he kept referring to her as Mother of Six no matter where they went. At end of a poker run, he shouted across the bar, “Hey, Mother of Six, you ready to go home?” His irritated wife screamed back: “Anytime you’re ready, Father of Four!”
A husband is someone who, after taking the trash out, gives the impression that he just cleaned the whole house. Three men - an Australian farmer, Osama bin Laden and a Biker are all walking together one day. They come across a lantern, and a Genie pops out of it.. ‘I will give each of you one wish, which is three wishes in total’, says the Genie. . The Australian says, ‘I am a farmer and my son will also farm. I want the land to be forever fertile in Australia’.

Where Were You?
Battlefield Harley-Davidson’s Blessing of the Bikes
A BLESSING IS NICE TO HAVE....... Perhaps it was the security of having Peace of Mind -that you felt a sense of feeling complete; for this riding season is going to be a safe one for You and Your Ride.
The calendar tells me it’s Spring. The cold morning temperature tells me to bundle up! This is exactly what Steve and I did, before meeting some friends, and heading West to Battlefield Harley Davidson’s annual Blessing of the Bikes. Dressed in full leathers from my neck wrap to my chaps I rode one mile with the bone chilling wind hitting my face. At the first traffic light I looked over at Steve, my husband, shouted and admitted, “ I screwed up. I should have worn my full face instead of my 1/2!” Oh well, onward. There was no turning back.
I guess it didn’t really matter what your reason was for riding in. What mattered for a few brief moments was that we were all united as one as we listened, so closely, to The Rolling Saints T.E.A.M. of Motorcyclists for Jesus Ministries, as they spoke. You had to wonder what was truly going through each individuals thoughts. (Other than.... “it’s cold out here.”) In addition to this event, The Blue Knights held a benefit ride for Officer Richard Phillips. Officer Phillips was critically injured in Cross Keys during a pursuit on March 11th. Over 100 motorcycles joined in on the ride, and more than $4,000 was raised. The proceeds will go to help the family. Our prayers go out to Officer Phillips, his family, and friends.
We didn’t pass any cycles along the way until we hit the Gettysburg area. Pulling into Battlefield HD, with my rosy red cheeks, I knew this annual event was going to be another successful one. The lot filled up quickly! I made a mad dash inside to warm up, and grabbed some coffee and donut holes. “Yum-O.” After chatting it up with Jen LeVan, the owner of Battlefield, my friends and I headed outside for the Blessing and Prayer ceremony. As I looked around at all the strange faces in the crowd I wondered what direction all these Brothers and Sisters came from? How far did they ride? Perhaps a few were only from “right down the road.” I began to ask myself “what’s His story, or what’s Her story?” What drew these “Bikers” to a Blessing ceremony? www.FastLaneBikerPA.com

BIKE WEEK IN MAZATLAN MEXICAN When it became clear that we really would be attending and filming Semana Internacional De La Moto event I must admit we were excited, intrigued and a little apprehensive. Most of you have probably heard about the drug related violence that dominates the headlines south of the border so there were some concerns. When we arrived at the Mazatlan airport, with our crew and Michele Smith, we were met by an armed contingency with automatic weapons. However from that point forward we moved freely throughout the city without security and encountered no problems whatsoever. The event was obviously fully supported by both the citizens and the government. We went on a beautiful ride along the Pacific Ocean where we got a real flavor for the history of the city while we stopped and visited seaside vendors, cliff divers and saw statues of prominent Mazatlan icons. We ate and ate at the /The Shrimp Factory/ a local restaurant that catches the food in the morning and serves it that day, how do I know, simple they have no food refrigerators! The governor was kind enough to let us use his helicopter to film the city as well as the Mardi Gras type bike parade which featured everything on wheels, including dirt bike quads and sport bikes as well as a ton of Harleys. The bike show winner featured a chopper with Strip Club Choppers Wheels what are the odds REALLY, this was a great experience and we were treated like kings. If you ever get the chance check out Semana Internacional De La Moto , here is the web site. http://www.semanainternacionaldelamoto.com/english/index. html Visit us this month in Panama City, Myrtle BVeach and The Rally at The Rock in the Pocono’s

ASK THE ATTORNEY As you all know I try to keep my readers updated on motorcycle related issues most of which usually revolve around insurance and specific laws that pertain to motorcycles. Occasionally I run across an out of the ordinary situation, such as a client who recently broke down in the middle of nowhere, didn’t have any road side assistance, and had a difficult time obtaining help. Given his situation, I was asked what he should do to ensure that this never happens again? After doing a bit of research I concluded that there are several options which would help in this situation. The most common I believe, is that if you are a member of H.O.G. or many other motorcycle groups, you can purchase roadside assistance or in many circumstances, it will be included with your membership. There is also the option of A.A.A. which many already have for their automobiles, I believe A.A.A. will also provide assistance if you breakdown while operating your motorcycle. I also recently received some literature from A.A.R.P.’s motorcycle insurance program through the Foremost Insurance Company. As many of you know, Foremost is one of the companies that I usually recommend and with this program, they provide 24 hour emergency assistance along with trip interruption coverage, meaning that if your bike is disabled in a collision more than 100 miles from home, they will pay up to $100.00 a day for lodging, $50.00 a day for meals and $50.00 a day for transportation up to 4 days. They also provide access to more than 23,000 service providers and will arrange for a cab or rental vehicle and help you find a hotel, flight information, etc. I am not trying to sell anybody on the AARP program however, I thought it was a very good program, offering a service that not everybody thinks about, until the one day when they find themselves stranded. Therefore as a suggestion, I would first find out if whatever motorcycle club or association you are affiliated with offers roadside assistance. If they do not, you should contact your insurance company to ask if they provide roadside assistance in the case of a breakdown. While this issue may not seem too important as you are reading it, just imagine how annoying it would be if you are on a long ride and have a flat tire or mechanical problems and there is nobody around for miles. If you have prepared for this and have a cell phone, at least you will have the peace of mind that help will be on the way. Also of interest, I have a new client who happened to have $5,000.00 in medical coverage on his motorcycle insurance policy. A rarity, as I have only had a handful of clients who carried medical coverage on their policies. When inquiring about the medical coverage, I learned that if he was wearing a D.O.T. approved helmet, as an added bonus, the insurance company will automatically increase his medical benefits by an additional $500.00. Granted $500.00 is not a lot of additional money, but I mention it because I have never run across this before and from what I am told, this is something that several insurance companies are starting to do as a way of encouraging riders to wear their helmets. On another note, I want to thank Russell Smith and the Blue Comets Motorcycle Club based out of Skippack, PA for inviting me to their clubhouse for dinner and to speak in front of their group about many topics related to motorcycles. For those of you not familiar with the Blue Comets, they are the Club that has sponsored the “Lansdale Bike Night” for the last fourteen or so years, a one day event that takes place the Saturday after Labor Day and normally draws anywhere from 50,000 to 100,000 people. I believe it is the largest one-day motorcycle event on the east coast. Finally, I plan on attending the second annual Ride-the-Wave to the Shore event being held on Sunday, April 25th, 2010, a motorcycle run from Camden, NJ to Wildwood, NJ which benefits fallen police, fire and EMS personnel and I will also be making an appearance at the 8th annual Spring Fall Rendezvous hosted by the Northampton Fire Department, which has a new location this year at the Northampton Municipal Park. I have been a main sponsor of this event for the last five or so years, it has always been a very well attended event and usually a good time is had by all. Hopefully you will be able to come out to some of these events, and I look forward seeing you, and answering any questions you may have. I hope you find this information informative and if you would like additional information on this topic, or any other, I can always be reached at LeeGaber@cycleattorney.com or

Family friendly atmosphere equals success for Johnstown, PA’s Thunder rally Located in a city known for its friendliness and hospitality, Johnstown, PA’s annual Thunder in the Valley motorcycle rally makes sure its guests never leave disappointed. Located only 60 miles east of Pittsburgh, PA, Thunder attracts riders from throughout the eastern United States and beyond; yet to the many riders who repeatedly make the late June trek to Johnstown, Thunder has become a homecoming of sorts. Johnstown’s “Thunder family” has grown to well over 200,000 attendees made up of both resident and visiting bikers, as well as non-riding Thunder fans of all ages. What makes it so successful? Maybe it’s the variety of live music and entertainment; maybe it’s the wide assortment of products for sale at multiple vendor areas; or maybe visitors just feel like family there. In the end, it’s a combination of all of the above and it’s fitting this year’s theme is “We Are Family”. Scheduled for June 24-27, Thunder in the Valley is one of the top ten motorcycle rallies in the United States. Those who attend often bring their families with them, as there are activities for all ages. Parades, competitions, parties, stunts and contests highlight the adult entertainment, while face painting and balloon artists provide a thrill for kids. This year marks Thunder in the Valley’s 13th anniversary, and there will no doubt be many new faces among the attendees. This year, Thunder welcomes several new and exciting entertainment acts along with some fun activities. The evening festivities will kickoff Thursday with the Lighted Bike Night Parade. This will be the third year for the night parade, which doubled in size since it began. Rally attendees will also be treated to the American Hellriders Wall of Death, who will be performing death defying acts several times a day throughout the rally. A returning favorite, the Blues Brothers-Jake & Elwood Blues Revue, will also be bringing along American Idol-style karaoke. Several more large-scale events will also be scheduled for the rally. Event organizers go above and beyond to make bikers feel welcome. A number of streets in downtown Johnstown are designated for motorcycle-only parking, and the Welcome Tent and Visitor Center are staffed with friendly volunteers who pass out the official program book, provide suggestions for self-guided rides, and give directions to venues and area attractions. While a strong law enforcement presence is evident throughout the rally, Thunder has garnered a reputation for being safe and free of major incidents. Bikers also need not worry about unnecessary harassment by police who can often be seen interacting with the visiting riders and serving as community ambassadors. In addition to the rally’s friendly, laid back atmosphere, the Johnstown region is easily accessible and located within a few hours drive from the east’s major population markets, making the ride to and from Johnstown a treat in and of itself. In addition to the outdoor pubs and venues, the area’s restaurants, taverns, and businesses welcome bikers with special promotions throughout the week. Also, since Thunder does not charge admission so riders can participate in a variety of activities without breaking their budget. Organizers encourage Thunder participants to arrive earlier in the week to tour the area’s many attractions and explore the winding, picturesque roads that traverse hills, valleys, scenic plateaus and farmlands. Maps of self-guided touring routes connect 22 of The Alleghenies’ major heritage attractions. Tour options include the Pioneer Run Tour, the Peaks and Valley’s Tour, the Laurel Ridge Tour, and the Allegheny Mountains Tour. Collector pins are available for each attraction visited. Visit www.thealleghenies.com for downloadable maps and directions and more information. Riders looking for a new destination should mark Thunder in the Valley on their calendar this year and become part of the Thunder family. "ELVIS NOW 2010" FEATURING
R.J. COLTON & THE ELVIS PRESLEY BAND
www.astronip.com May & June MOOD OF THE MOMENT. Dramatic strong happenings for all the cardinal signs now (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn). Uranus goes into Aries now for the next 7 years. It is an 84 year cycle and it hasn’t happened before in our lives. It is about individuality, freedom and doing something new. Saturn in Libra since November 2009 until November 2012. It is a 28 year cycle and it has to do with authority, structure, work, stabilization or struggle. Pluto in Capricorn from Feb 2008 until 2024. It has to do with intensity, empowerment, or crisis, particularly in government, geology, and economy. It has to do with the end of things and that is where we finally find the truth. All of these in square or opposition to each other. Many crises will be happening and enlightenment too. Maybe best of all, profound archaeological discoveries will be made that will change who we think we are and where we come from. Finally, human species No.22 will know who he is. ARIES. Uranus goes into Aries now giving you the incredible urge to be free and to do something new with your life. Jupiter joining maybe gives you the opportunity and the open door. Then the door shuts. Then the door opens again. Some delay, obstacle, duty or responsibility gets in your way. You can’t just quit everything like you feel like doing, but you can do the old things in a new way while the tension builds, builds, builds until that magic moment when only the moment matters. Freedom is coming and will arrive when you finally pay the price it requires.
LIBRA.. The more stable you try to be, the more unpredictable the world becomes. The more you try to make things permanent and lasting, the more they crumble into dust before your eyes. This is your duality at this time and there is a lot to learn from all of this. Find that which is solid and strong and eternal within yourself. Not only do you become a light onto yourself, but the self-sufficiency you find will carry you through. You find that you are your own best friend and the best companion you will ever have.
TAURUS. Happy Birthday Beloved. It is a thinking, talking, travelling time for you now. Mercury in Taurus until the middle of June. It is an extroverted communication time networking and staying in touch with friends. It is not about superficial chit chat. There is some deep thinking going on. Maybe listening to the words of the Master. Maybe going deeper into the meaning of life. Your friends may be having worries now and asking you for your advice. You have the power and the depth to help them find their power now.
SCORPIO. It is about communicating with the ones you love, your friends and family and everyone else too. It is about dropping long silences or any old fears you might not be listened to or understood. It is about listening, really listening. It is about expressing, really expressing. Drop taking your partner for granted. Smile at the other 35x an hour and leave little notes stuck on the steering wheel or between the bristles of their tooth brush. Networking, facebooking, emailing, skyping, smiling are the things to do.
GEMINI. Time to love and to be loved. Happy Birthday. Venus in Gemini gives you a charm that adds to that bright and beautiful smile you are famous for. Let yourself shine even more brightly in the world and let others come closer to the light. Let yourself be magnetic without words or effort. Treat yourself to the good things and luxuriate in the physical plane. Emphasize being in the light, being the light itself, and then after that the words will come and the message that can be said will be delivered.
SAGITTARIUS. You are supposed to have a good time now. That’s your job. If you can travel, that would be great. Good time to take a trip. Good to take your partner with you or to find one when you get there. Good time for relationship too. Do something new you have never done before and go to places you have never been. Be with someone and be two. Two people sharing pleasure is twice the pleasure. Do it the easy way and treat yourself to some comfort and luxury. This is not the time to struggle or worry. Live good.
CANCER. These are strong times and you are feeling the feelings of others around you. You always feel the feelings of those around you. You are the emotional antennae that picks up everything. The best thing you can do for others is to lead by example. Be prepared. Follow the Mormon plan and have extra food supplies in your cupboards. Be prepared. Have the tools and lamps and what it takes to be self sufficient. Even if nothing happens, it gives a sense of security that there is solid ground to stand on somewhere in this whirling world.
CAPRICORN. Well, this is not going to be the easiest time in your life, but you would be bored if it was. You are genetically engineered to struggle to the mountain top and to do it the hard way. The mountain top is not the point. The effort to get there is. The goal you have is magnificent and worthy of your strength. You chose such a goal because it demands all of your strength. It will be achieved and you will arrive, but as you know, it will take some time. The world is a chaos, but those in confusion will look to you to find a way.
LEO. Mars in Leo since October, which is an unusually long time (It is usually two months in a sign). This is why maybe you have been so busy and assertive in your life getting things done. Not much patience and low frustration tolerance. Got to do. Just one more month and you can be sweet and loving again. Maybe the main objective has been to succeed at work and pay off some debt. Finally in July the Mars moves into Virgo and goes into the Second House of money. You either spend the money and go into debt again or you are busy making the money to build your nest egg.
AQUARIUS. Maybe some conflict or argument in your life now. Mars opposite your sign. It is not something to be avoided or detached from, but a sign to put more energy into your relationship. Still these on-going dilemmas between be detached or be involved, be free or be responsible, be joyful or be serious, be assertive or compromise. The next step is to establish your base camp, a solid ground of stability, from which you can go out to explore and play. It is all just a drama and you are the author of the part you play.
VIRGO. A fact is a fact, but the meaning of it is another thing. A fact is a fact and it tends to stay the same. The meaning of it changes as you change and it moves as you move. Now that you have accumulated all this knowledge, it is the right time to go into the meaning of it all in the deepest, deepest way. Good to put it all together into a system and a belief. The stronger and more profound the belief, the more you can go into the universal all-is-one inexpressible mystical space of wordlessness that comes next year.
PISCES. You were never intended to be in the body. It is a lot of work to carry the heavy thing around and move its arms and limbs and fingers and toes. There comes a lazy time where any effort at all is too much and it is much better to do things the easy way. Time to make your life an easy life without demand or stress. People keep wanting you to do things and be busy. It is not correct for you. The Capricorns want to do it. It is not your way. The easy way is your way. Find the flow and just let yourself be carried along into the ocean and just be.

MMA Fight Night in Delaware County Photos by GoofyG and Redlite Photos.
XFEvents.com presents CAGE WARS, and takes over Delaware County with the 1st Ever MMA Fight Night. The power of B, times 5 brings you Brawls, Babes, Bikes, Beer .All of which were prominent at the 1st ever MMA Fight Night in Delaware County. XFEvents.com presented CAGE WARS, at Tri State Sports Arena, with huge success, and we were there as a main sponsor of the event. We would like to thank David Feldman, XFE Promoter, for giving us an unforgettable and entertaining event, and we look forward to the next event on June 18th. The night started out with a fan expo, where spectators could come early and visit the local sponsors, such as BoneBreakerz Clothing, Hannums Harley Davidson, Xe Energy Drink, BoneBreakerz Athletic Wear, Fast Lane Biker PA Magazine, Penn Jersey Cycles. and Heavy Metal Wheels. Amongst the sponsors you could get your picture with plenty of hotties in the crowd, to include the round card girls, Elite Dance Team dancers and BoneBreakerz Babes! While also meeting Philly’s own Eddie Alvarez (MMA superstar), Carmello Romero (UFC Fighter)Paul “The Machine” Koon (#1 Ranked Amateur Boxer) and Bobby “The Celtic Warrior” Gun (Americas Cruiserweight champion). Also in attendance, Barret Brooks (a Super Bowl Champion). BRAWLS – Tri State was filled with fighters of all kinds in order to earn the respect of the crowd. XFE had 10 fights, but all showed tremendous heart for the sport. Each fight displayed different techniques where some ended in submissions, knock outs and going the distance. Several of the local fighters came from gyms such as Sports Extreme (Travis Thompson, Marcos Duarte, Jeff Stott & Jim Dewar), Fight Firm (Ben Tichy), Defiant MMA (Mike Jenkins & Jon Gainey), Fight Factory (Steve McCabe & Joe www.FastLaneBikerPA.com
Del Viscio), Rocco’s MMA (Patrick Macke) and other great fighters such as Jesus Martinez and Joe Parkinson. You can check out xfevents.com for results of each fight and who is on the fight card for June 18th’s next CAGE WARS. BABES – There was definitely no shortage in this department. Not only did we have Drea to lead the team of babes which included: Cara, Holly, Jenna and Amanda, but the other sponsors brought some as well. XFE also, brought some eye candy with their round card girls and cage dancers for entertainment. All babes were present during the Fan Expo and more than happy to get pictures taken with all the spectators! And what a great way to start off a night of fights than with a beautiful girl singing the National Anthem, which was accomplished amazingly by Philly’s own upcoming singing phenom, Audra McLaughlin. Make sure you check out her myspace page (http://www. myspace.com/audralynnmclaughlin) for her new album release date. BIKES/BEER – Talk about Extreme, bikes definitely offer out an adrenaline rush and there were at least 10 bikes available for your viewing pleasure, with and without babes! Thanks to Hannum’s Harley Davidson, Penn Jersey Cycles, and Heavy Metal Wheels . And what goes hand and hand all of the above, is beer! And spectators could feel good about enjoying an ice cold beverage as a portion of the sales went to a non profit organization. Props go out to Bud and Bud Light for sponsoring the event. Of course, the night couldn’t have been such a success without the MMA fans in attendance, so we would like to thank everyone that came out. There were so many people that were part of this event to make it such a great experience and we would also like to thank them as well.
