WEDNESDAY
For the next three days the leaders will be involved in a community planning seminar. They will evaluate the work done through the community development programs and training. We seek God’s guidance to direct us into His vision and plan for the communities surrounding our training centres.

THURSDAY
Thank the Lord for Max Maddock and the Ozzie team who arrived safely in Malawi to finalize the building of the two staff houses. Pray that they will work in unity and that they will be blessed as they seek to serve us with their talents and skills.

Peter Lister from Mackay Australia is in Zambia and he and Neels are looking into opportunities to involve FCE in their mission outreaches to the Islanders of the Torres Strait Islands and to identify leaders amongst them who can be trained in Community upliftment.

Pray for the truck that leaves B-day from Koti ni Eden to Malawi Riette Cilliërs with equipment and people. Ask King’s Highway Somerset West God for the finances, to protect them on the roads and to give them favour in the eyes of the officers at the border posts.

Volunteers from Ethiopia, Spain, Slovakia, England and Australia will be involved in volunteer work in FCE during this month. Thank the Lord for people who are willing to serve and pray that the Lord will meet their needs and speak to their hearts.

FCE day of Fasting and Prayer. Join us as we spend the day at the feet of our Master, worshipping Him and bringing Him honour and glory.
This is the dry season and hunger is prevalent. We find that many of our children at the schools do not have a proper meal every day. Thank the Lord for the Australian lady who financially sponsors the children to have at least one egg a day. nator Discipleship Training Courses at Wolseley Most of FCE staff will be arriving in Malawi for the official opening of the Training Centre. Thank the Lord for all the role players who contributed to building this training centre. Pray for Moses/ Regina, Jesaja/ Malinda and Cephas and his wife who stay and work at this training centre. of King’s Highways Guesthouses. Thank the Lord for all the outreach teams who came to serve in Zambia. They were touched by what God is doing at our training centres. They were exposed to people who are lost, people who go without and village life. Pray that the seeds that were sown in their lives re missions will bear fruit that will last.
In the coming days most of the FCE staff and students from Koti ni Eden and Kalungu will be travelling to our training centre in Malawi. Pray for safety on the gravel roads and finances for the trip.
Praise the Lord for guests who visit the King’s Highway Guest facilities at the different training centres. Continue to market the Guesthouses and the Biltong Shops. God is blessing our business initiatives and the income helps the work of FCE in many ways.
Zimbabwe
James and Lindie Pretorius are involved in the Isali project near Kalungu, building relationships with the villagers and working alongside them. They are involved in chicken and cattle farming. Pray for Lindie’s permit, pray for the relationship with the headman of the area and for opportunities to reach the people for Christ.
PLEASE pray that Brian and Barbara’s visas for Australia will be issued so that they can visit their daughter Ndanji. Their visas have been denied the previous time and we truly trust God to intervene on their behalf.
Pray for protection for Neels, Anita, Carel Nel, Jannie, Elise and their two sons who are travelling to Kalungu en route to Malawi. Ask God to give them wisdom as they minister to staff and students at the different training centres.
Tomorrow is the official opening of the FCE Training Centre in Malawi. Rejoice with us as we bring honour to God and ask Him to make this place a beacon of light. Pray that through our teaching and our testimonies many will come to know Christ.
Involved in Women’s Ministry in Malawi

Pray for God’s provision for the kitchens at the training centres. Prices for most commodities are rising and we are committed to feed our students and staff. Thank the Lord that none of us have ever gone hungry because God is a master in multiplication of food.

Pray for teachers to attend The Teacher’s Conference (NCTC) held in Bloemfontein in October. Ask the Lord to remove all obstacles and that finances will not be a problem. Encourage teachers in your area to attend the conference.
Neels, Brian and Barbara fly from SA to Australia. This is a significant visit as they plan to go to the Torres Straight Islands, where they want to share with the church leaders about the importance of training people in Christ-centered living.
Pray for the students who are enrolled in the Discipleship-Mission Training at Wolseley, Kalungu and Koti ni Eden. Thank Him for those who made a commitment and ask God to reveal Himself to them as they seek to come to know Him more personally. Pray for Wynand and Madelein who are in Gauteng, Zhak and Yvette in Polokwane, Hendrik and Carien in the Cape and Eileen de Scande in Wolseley. They took leave from FCE for medical reasons and to rest.
Pray for Victorious, the son of Joseph, a community worker in Kalungu. Victorious suddenly stopped talking. Sampie van Rensburg a prayer supporter, is helping this family to find medical care for him. Ask God for a miracle in this little boy’s life
Pray for the women’s ministry at our training centres. We have opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus during the weekly adult literacy classes and the evangelism outreaches. We experience a desire to change, to forgive, to love and to grow spiritually amongst these women.
SATURDAY
Pray for all the Course Coordinators. They need God’s heart, love and understanding to guide the Discipleship students in who God is, how He reveals Himself to them and to teach them how to apply the Biblical principles in their walk of faith.
Carel, Rene and Abigail Els arrived safely in Zambia after being in South Africa for Rene’s cancer treatment. Thank the Lord for the body of Christ who helped them in many ways during this time of trial. We saw God at work through His children and we rejoice.
Pray for Boet Pretorius and the agricultural team who are involved in the agricultural training. Ask God that farmers will be committed to apply the principles that they are taught and that they will learn to trust the Lord in faith for their harvests.
