Rene Els is ready to return to Zambia. Continue to pray for Yvette Maloney, Eileen de Scande, and Carien Jansen who presently are recovering in South after suffering from illnesses due to their long stays in Zambia. Pray for Zimbabwe. FCE staff and students were involved in a prayer outreach and they were saddened by the influence that the prosperity gospel has in the local churches. People are deceived. Pray that God’s Truth will be proclaimed and that the knowledge of the Truth will set people free.

Sumari Smith – teacher at Koti ni Eden School married to Etienne Smith

Pray for Dalene Treptow who is travelling today from Cape Town to Kalungu to be involved in the Discipleship Training. Ask God to protect her on the way and from malaria. Trust God to use her as she points the students to God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Piet and Elma du Toit arrives at Wolseley after spending much needed time with their son and also attending Jacques and Jenn’s wedding in Australia. Pray that God will prepare their hearts to go to Zambia where they will be involved in teaching and training. The Lord has blessed Jaco and Corrie with a baby girl and Alburt and Este with a boy. Continue to pray for Jean-Vion and Evelyn’s baby who is due soon. Pray that FCE’s children will grow up with an understanding and a heart for missions.

Thank the Lord for the finances provided to continue with the housing project at Koti ni Eden. The first 3 single units are very near to completion. Trust the Lord for the finances to complete the other six units.

Ben Hulks from England and a team of 14 people from the King’s School are on an outreach at Koti ni Eden. Ask God to give them a love and an understanding for the people of Africa. Pray that they will focus on what God has in store for them and that God will reveal His heart for missions to them.

Pray for Ndanji, daughter of Brian and Barbara, who was blessed with a sponsorship to study at the Mac Kay Christian School in Australia. Thank God for the Murison family who takes her under their wings and Piet and Elma who helped her through the initial adjustments. Hendrik Jansen and Reinette Holtzhausen, lecturers of the FCE Teacher Training College, are involved in further studies in Christ Centered Education. Ask God to reveal His truths to them as they work on their assignments.

We are in need of staff. Pray the Lord of the harvest to send in harvesters. Men and women who are called and equipped by God to spread the Gospel, to help the poor and to take care of the widows and the orphans.

The Kalungu Garden received a second prize at an Agriculture Show. This garden project does not only provide food for the staff, but also serves to train the local farmers and transform the communities. Thank the Lord for Georg Paul and his team. Kees Klaassen arrives with friends to spend time at the King’s Highway Guesthouse in Somerset West. Pray for Riette and Freda who will host them during this time. Abraham le Roux – All rounder (artist, maintenance etc.) based at Koti ni Eden

Bob Frisken from New Hope International from Australia is visiting us in Zambia. Through the years he has been a pillar of strength to FCE – a man of God who has a heart for Christ Centered Education. Pray that we will be open as he shares his knowledge and experiences.

Lydia Phiri experiences some health issues – a heart condition and high blood pressure. Let us stand together for complete healing as she plays a major role in Kalungu kitchen, women’s ministry and leadership with Ameck, her husband.

Faffa has created a website for our biltong shops www.biltong4africa.co.za. We honour the Lord for this business initiative and ask you to pray for Raymond, Rene, Lize, Lodewyk, Matthias and Harold who serves in these shops.

Pray for FCE staff who is actively involved in the communities. Pray that they will not be discouraged by what they hear and see. Ask God to open their eyes for the many opportunities to serve and to speak God’s truth and victory into people’s lives. Neels and the FCE leadership are gathering to plan for the future. It is our prayer that God will direct them and streamline their plans according to His direction for FCE. Man proposes, but God disposes

Neels and Anita had many opportunities to share with young people. Many youngsters are uncertain and insecure. The Discipleship Mission Training is an excellent tool to make God known to them. Pray for those who are currently in training with FCE.

Praise the Lord for providing through FCE’s prayer supporters world-wide. We are able to build God’s Kingdom because of the involvement of our prayer supporters. May the Lord bless you in the grace of giving and may He bless you with joy!!!!

SATURDAY

Shawn and Naomi from the Renfrew Baptist Church in Canada arrive today with an outreach group of 7 People at Koti ni Eden. Thank the Lord for people who are willing to sacrifice their holidays, pay for their passage to come and serve at our training centres.

Max and an outreach team of 12 adults from Australia arrive in Malawi. They are geared with equipment, finances, skills and a strong focus to finish the building project. Praise the Lord for these talented men and women who are dedicated to serve God.

Neels, Carel, Francois and Faffa are travelling with the Land Rover via Namibia to attend the College bosberaad in Zambia in August... Trust God for their travel expenses and safe journey. Pray for the families who stay behind.
