1: Birthday: Abel Mulenga
2: Pray for Neels and a group of FCE supporters who is in Kalungu at the moment. They will often be on the road for the next week, travelling to the FCE training centre in Malawi and to the airport in Lilongwe. Ask that God will protect them.
3: Last month Neels and a group had a near fatal accident in Zambia. Thank God for his hand of protection on Neels who has to travel so often, as well as on all other staff and visitors.
4: A week ago all the electrical appliances in the Masaiti guesthouse kitchen were stolen, during a break-in at night. Pray God’s protection on all our guesthouses and restcamps – in Kalungu, Masaiti, Okahandja and Somerset-West.
5: Continue to ask God to send in guests at our guesthouses and rest camps, as well as clients to our biltong shops.

6: Thank God for electricity in Koti ni Eden. This has happened after much prayer and input of various people.
7: Thank God for Koos and for Hennelie, who have started working in the new biltong shop in the Strand. Ask God that they will quickly find their feet in their new work situations.
8: Pray for Lodewyk, who is managing the biltong shop in the Strand. Pray for his relationships with workers at both shops. Ask that God will clearly direct him in practical ways of expanding the shop.
9: Pray for discipleship coordinator teams in both Wolseley and Kalungu. They are trusting the Holy Spirit continually to enable them to teach creatively and build effectively into students’ lives.
10: Today and tomorrow selection interviews take place in Wolseley, for students who want to continue with Mission Training. Ask that leaders will know whom the students are that God wants to continue.
11: A number of staff as well as students are in the process of applying for work or study permits. Pray for favour and rapid response from officials involved.
12: FCE is 21 years old this year. A DVD on FCE’s activities is being produced by Carel Nel and Francois Fouche. Pray for the script of this DVD that has to be finished this month.
13: Anita de Jager and Gert Basson are heading the work on a magazine that will be brought out for the 21st celebration of FCE. Ask for God’s clear guidance on how to compile this magazine.
14: Pray for good health for staff staying in Zambia and Malawi. The rainy season has not finished yet. In Malawi especially staff and children struggle with constant illnesses.
15: Pray for a small truck for Malawi, to be used for transport and building.
16: The discipleship group in Wolseley each week reaches out to a local school. Thank God for a child who, because of these outreaches, came to ask for help because of addiction to drugs. Pray for this child, who presently is with people who are helping her with rehabilitation and spititual growth.
17: Pray for Neels, who will be a speaker at a Global Teachers’ Conference in Cape Town.
18: Thank God for supporters who, together with us, are looking at possibilities to set up a good communication system in Koti ni Eden. Pray for all that is needed to put up such a system.
19: Birthday: Jesaja Strumpfer
20: Thank God for the garden in Kalungu and for all who have put in much to get it established. At this stage meals are being prepared each day for 40 people. Most of the vegetables used come straight from the garden!
21: Thank God for faithful community workers in Kalungu, staying in the villages and teaching people day after day. These people are Joseph, Bruce and Evelyn, Friday and Peter.
22: Pray for Leonard and Elias and their families as well as the other community workers at Koti ni Eden.
23: Pray for selection interviews for students in Kalungu who want to continue with Mission Training. Ask that God will clearly show the leaders who those are who should be selected.
24: For the next few days the Zambia Christian Teachers’ Convention takes place in Ndola and Kitwe. Pray for Australian educators who will be the speakers.
25: Senior staff members play significant roles of mentorship in the lives of junior staff members. Please pray for wisdom and close fellowship amongst the body.
26: Various outreach teams are already planning and preparing to visit Zambia and Malawi during June/July. Pray that they will have all the means needed for the spesific projects that they will be involved in.
27: Thank God for business partners of FCE who are looking at possibilities to establish businesses in Zambia, to help with financial support.
28: Pray God’s blessing on so many faithful people who support us in so many ways – by praying, by encouraging, by coming on outreaches, by giving financially.
29: Thank God for students trained by FCE, who are following Him faithfully all over the world, while applying the principle of Christ-centeredness.
30: Pray with FCE staff, who is currently trusting God for a release of finances to finish building projects, to buy all the needed equipment, as well as for daily running costs.
31: The next intake for the Discipleship Mission Training will be in July. Pray for those called by God for this intake, to enroll.
