TUESDAY
1
Thank the Lord for the warm welcome Neels and Anita are receiving wherever they go in Australia. Praise Him for the many opportunities to share what the Lord is doing in and through FCE. Ask that they will be alert to the guidance of the Holy Spirit in all circumstances.

WEDNESDAY
Pray for Neels to clearly hear God’s voice and obediently follow his strategies as he finalizes the plans for his trip to America and Canada during middle May and June.

THURSDAY
Today and tomorrow a youth camp for the ex-students of the CTC in Koti ni Eden takes place. Ask that each one of these young adults will be steadfast in the calling that God has for their lives.

Boet Pretorius will be presenting agricultural training in Koti ni Eden. The first year college students slot in with this. Pray for a renewing of the minds of all present on agriculture according to God’s ways.

Piet du Toit wrote a book on education in the Sudan, “Education in a War Zone”. Pray for Godly direction to the right publisher for publication.
Thank God for various FCE media productions that have been completed recently. Pray that the new DVD marketing material will be used widely to further His work.
Birthday: Janine Basson
Neels and Anita de Jager depart for Johannesburg from Australia. Tomorrow they will leave for Canada. Pray for a safe journey and a strengthening in mind, body and spirit.
There is much interest from ex-FCE students to enrol for the internationally recognized B.Ed degree via Southland College in Australia. Ask that God will open financial avenues for all interested. Pray that all FCE staff will stay true to the vision that God has given them, living and giving themselves in simplicity to others.
Piet du Toit, Pieter le Roux and Dirk Grobbelaar are visiting schools to promote the NCTC (Teachers Convention). Ask that God will open the hearts of teachers and headmasters for attending this convention.
Pray for the protection of the co-ordinators of the DMT against attacks of all kinds. Ask that they will hear God’s voice clearly as they are speaking into the lives of students.
Pray for students to enrol for the discipleship courses that will start in June in Zambia and Wolseley. Teacher and community students for next year have to be selected from these groups. Birthday: Sulene van Schalkwyk
Pray for the processing of work and study permit applications in Zambia. There are still 29 applications outstanding.
Thank God for a successful sports day that was held in Koti ni Eden. FCE staff, children and the surrounding communities participated.
Pray for the CTC children and their health. There have been many malaria cases, coughs and infections during the past two months.
Thank God for visitors from many countries who are being received, especially at Koti ni Eden. Pray God’s blessings on them. Thank Him for the wider body of Christ worldwide who are willing to serve FCE with their talents and gifts.
A group from Australia plans to go to Malawi in June to help with the building of staff houses. Pray for these men who are coming in faith, that God will provide for them and that He will also meet their spiritual needs. Thank God for finances that were released for the buildings at Koti ni Eden and for the Malawi building project. Also thank Him for His daily provision for each FCE staff member.
Pray for the safety of Corrie van der Westhuizen and Evelyn Banza-Nkulu, who are pregnant, from malaria and other complications.
: Pray for Rachael Greer who will write her nursing registration exam for Zambia today. Thank God for this Australian girl who has taken over the clinic at Koti ni Eden with much dedication.
Thank God for the harvest from the Kalungu garden. God’s glory and provision is being revealed in this project.

Doxa Deo Christian School is planning their annual outreach to Kalungu for the end of June. Pray for their preparations and praise God for their continued partnering with the Kalungu team.
SATURDAY
The DMT students are preparing to go on outreaches to Malawi and Zimbabwe. Pray that they will experience God working through them during this time and for the confirmation of His calling on their lives. Some of them are still not sure what direction to take. Thank God for the opportunity FCE recently had to exhibit at the Mighty Men Conference in Middelburg. Ask that men whose lives have been touched by God will actively become involved in His kingdom.
Thank God for a successful meeting between FCE and the Kalungu Basic School. FCE is involved in the process of raising the standard of education in the community through this school. Pray for positive results.
