1: Praise and give thanks to God for a successful and blessed National Christian Teachers’ Convention held in Bloemfontein last month. Thank Him for all safe journeys: we know that it is only God’s protection. Ask God to help teachers to implement strategies He showed them, to bless and guide them.
2: Ask God to bless all the presenters, speakers and participants who were at the National Christian Teachers’ Convention. That He will use them in many ways to His Glory and expansion of His Kingdom.
3: During a recent visit to Masaiti, a FCE supporter accepted responsibility for installing the electricity at the new campus at Koti ni Eden. Thank God for this answered prayer and trust Him for the finances and people needed to help with this installation.
4: During the same trip farmers from Clanwilliam visited the vegetable project in Kalungu which they are involved in. Thank God for long term planning that could be done for this project. This project are already producing vegetables for Kalungu.
5: Anita Grobler and Bernice Norkee, 2 of our lecturers at the teacher college, are travelling to different facilities in Australia and New Zealand to gain experience. Pray for travel mercies, safety and all needs that may arise.
6: Please pray for Karen Paul who will be undergoing reconstructive surgery today; that God will protect her, bless the surgeon’s hands, for a successful procedure and complete healing.
7: During the following week people from various continents will travel to South Africa to attend a discipleship course. Pray that all of them will travel and reach Wolseley safely.

9: Praise God that on a recent visit of Australian educators to South Africa and Zambia, an agreement was reached between FCE and Southland College in Australia. Through this college, FCE students will be able to get international recognition for their training.
10: Pray for new believers in Malawi, that they will grow strong and be willing to follow the principles of God’s Word in all areas of their lives.
11: A 6 week discipleship course starts in Wolseley. Pray for open hearts and minds to know God’s will, for those attending.
12: As the training centre in Masaiti is continuing to grow, Brian Singoi, Training Centre leader in Kalungu, will move to Koti ni Eden. Here he will be in shared leadership with Zhak Maloney. Pray for these two men as they are moving into a new leadership structure.
13: Ameck and Lydia Phiri will take over leadership in Kalungu. Thank God for the way in which they have grown into being able to handle this responsibility.
14: October is often called the suicide month of Africa. Pray that all will persevere during this windy, dry, hot time of the year, when all are tired after a year’s hard work.

16: Pray for wisdom in decision making for Luke Sichone, headmaster of the Koti ni Eden school. Thank God for committed teachers working with him. Pray that in unity they will follow God’s guidance in discipling precious children.
17: Ask God for the salvation of children at the Koti ni Eden school. Most of them come from homes where witchcraft is practised. Pray that they will see the Truth and that the Truth will set them free.

20: Pray for all our students in schools. That God will protect them, encourage them and fill them with eagerness and diligence to learn.

23: Pray for God’s protection, wisdom and endurance for all community workers, who are staying amongst the villagers. Ask that discipleship will take place by their living day by day amongst the people they are serving and teaching.
24: Pray for the organization: Mothers and Fathers Who Pray. That they will persevere in prayer for our children and that many more parents will be willing to stand in the gap.

27: Kings Highway Guesthouse Masaiti: Pray that negotiations with authorities will be successful towards a more favourable rent rate as from December 2010, if not we will be forced to close.
28: Pray for all FCE staff and students in Masaiti, as they are starting to pack up and prepare to move to the new campus at Koti ni Eden at the end of November.
29: Ask God to bless our Guesthouses and Biltong Shop so that we again will be able to support projects. In addition that we in these places can be a blessing to clients.
30: Birthday: Janine Ricketts Ask God to keep her healthy and the baby that they are expecting safe.
31: Pray for the Training Course being held in Wolselsey, that each person will experience God’s love and nearness in this time, and be able to embrace His blessing. Pray for the co-ordinators facilitating.
