1: Birthday: Barbara Singoyi

2: Prayerfully consider attending the National Christian Teachers’ Convention hosted by FCE in Bloemfontein, or sponsoring someone to attend. 1 – 4 October.

3: During August a youth camp was held at Koti ni Eden. Thank God for the impact that it made on the lives of young people and that the Lord will continue with the good work He has started in them.

4: Birthday: Yvette Maloney 5: Pray for sponsorships for the NCTC: Businesses, Churches or Organisations with a heart for Christ-centered education to come forward.

6: Pray for the 26 couples in Malawi who are meeting regularly at our training centre for fellowship and training. Family restoration is taking place and it flows through to all other relationships in the community.

7: Pray for the protection of all the staff at the Malawi Training Centre. They often experience spiritual battles as they preach the Gospel through their example rather than with words.

8: God is our Provider. Thank Him for the donations received to buy uniforms for all the children of the CTC school at Koti ni Eden.

9: Thank God for electric- 10: Birthday: Francois ity that was installed with Fouché the funds and help of Australian prayer supporters at the CTC school and at the shop at Ibenga. A team from Australia is at present at Koti ni Eden to help with practical work. Thank God for their services.

11: Pray for provision for the kitchen at Koti ni Eden. It needs to be well organized, equipped and stocked for the Celebrations.

12: Birthday: Renee Els. Pray for Renee who is currently undergoing cancer treatment. It is a tough time for her, Carel and Abigail, but God is in control.

13: The theme of the FCE Celebrations at Koti ni Eden is “Come and see what the Lord has done … “. Ask that all glory will be given to God and not to any man.

14: Pray for the printing and financing of the new FCE DVD and Magazine that will be launched at the celebrations in Zambia.

15: Pray that the Holy Spirit will prepare the Praise and Worship team to lead each session during the devotions at the Celebrations. Our desire is to glorify our Lord.

16: Pray for all the staff at Koti ni Eden, who have had a heavy work load for a prolonged period of time. Ask that God will renew their strength.

17: Pray for those who have to manage the different Training Centres while the staff is attending the Celebrations at Koti ni Eden.

18: Pray for wisdom and creativity as the staff prepares and finalises the programme for the Celebrations.

19: Pray for safety in traveling and for enough finances for all attending the Celebrations. Ask that those organizing the transport will be able to make all ends meet.

20: Pray that the Zambian elections will proceed peacefully and that Godly leadership will be appointed.

21: Pray for all the guests attending the Celebrations who are arriving today. Ask that they will be taken good care of and that all practical arrangements will be in place to accommodate them.

22: Praise God for the Celebrations that will start today. Ask that it will be a day of praise and joy and that all glory will be given to God. Pray God’s blessing on the weekend.

23: Government officials are attending the Celebrations today. Ask for favour with them and that sound relationships will be established.

24: Thank God for His faithfulness during the 21 years of FCE’s existence. Thank Him for the way in which He has answered prayers, sent in labourers into His harvest fields, and brought many out of darkness into His light.

25: A staff conference follows the Celebrations. Ask that all staff will truly rededicate their lives to the calling that God has given them and FCE.

26: Birthday: Marriot Daka. Pray for Marriot’s wife, Martha, who is expecting their firstborn.

27: Birthday: Ina Perold 28: Pray for the final arrangements for the National Christian Teachers’ Convention. Pray for God’s anointing on the presenters and God’s protection on everyone traveling to Bloemfontein.

29: Most of the people attending the October Discipleship Training are from overseas. Pray for them as they are preparing to proceed to Wolseley.

30: Thank you for living and praying with us through the month of our 21st Celebrations. Our prayer is that God will bless you for your faithfulness as you enable us through your prayers to be true to our calling.
