We are always keen to support the local community and currently we are working with Cruz Roja to collect donations for people affected by the Dana in Valencia. We have a collection tin in store where you can leave a donation or it is possible to send it via Bizum to 33512 or Bank transfer (please ask in store for information).
We are looking forward to providing you with professional optical health throughout all of 2025, and we all wish you all a Very Happy Christmas!
It has been so very sad seeing the devastation suffered in Valencia, but heart warming to see how the local community and beyond have pulled together to help in whatever way they can, including volunteering, fund-raising and donating. It is not going to be a quick fix for those affected so we must not forget them as they are going to need help and support for a long time to come.
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas spending time with loved ones. At my age gifts are nice but not as important as time spent together. I am so fortunate to be spending some of the time with friends and some with the family and grandchildren as they really do make itS special. Well them and the pigs in blankets....
I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas
Until next time, take care and be kind. Lesley

Amata Arts and crafts markets in December
With the arrival of December, the opportunities to find special gifts for Christmas are also approaching. The art and craft fairs organized by Amata bring together talented artisans from various disciplines: potters, leather workers, wood turners, painters, goldsmiths and candle makers, among others. All of them offer unique pieces, handmade and, if you wish, personalised according to your preferences.
Imagine commissioning a portrait of a loved one or pet, an exclusive piece of jewellery with the stone of your choice, or even a crocheted stuffed animal. If you're looking for something practical, like a handbag or a handmade backpack, you can find that too. These fairs provide many options for meaningful and unique presents.
In the fairs the artisans display a selection of their work at their stalls: decorative ceramics, exclusive jewellery, watercolours, pyrography, painted stones and paper maché figures. At Amata markets you can be sure that everything you see is authentic and handmade, with the author willing to share with you the story behind each piece.
During December, the Amata Craft Fairs will be held in:
•Jávea: until 5 January, every Saturday and Sunday morning from 11am until 2pm on the promenade in the port, and on 6, 7 and 8 December at special hours all day. More information at: https://www.puebloartesano.es/javea.
• Altea: on 6, 7 and 8 December in the square next to the town hall. More information at: https://www.puebloartesano.es/altea.
•Ibi: on 13, 14 and 15 December in the Plaza de Palla and Calle Manuel Soler. More information at: https://www.puebloartesano.es/ibi.
These fairs offer an excellent opportunity to discover local talent and buy presents that will truly surprise your loved ones.
Financial Advice from our family to yours
4 considerations for your investment portfolio
As we come to the end of another year full of twists and turns, we thought it worthwhile to recap on four key elements that will give any investment the best chance to prosper in as we move into 2025
Investment strategy: What is your chosen investment objective? Are you looking for income, capital growth, or a combination of the two? Do you have a preference for active or passive management? What is your time horizon for investing?
Tip: It is important to know why you are investing and what you are looking to achieve with your money. Those that rely on income from their portfolios will generally take a lower-risk, shorter-term view to investing, whilst those not reliant on income and looking for capital growth only can generally afford to take more risk, with a longer timeframe in mind.
Risk: How much risk are you prepared to take to meet your objectives? How much risk do you need to take? Have you completed a recent risk profile assessment with your adviser? Have your underlying funds been reviewed to ensure they remain in line with your attitude to risk?
Tip: It is very easy for a portfolio to stray from its originally intended risk if left unmonitored. There is also a key discussion to be had between the risk an investor is prepared to take and the risk an investor will need to take in order to meet their objectives. An in-depth risk analysis of a portfolio and cashflow modelling (backed up by numbers) can help demonstrate this.
Cost: Are you aware of the cost implications associated with your portfolio, both for the provider and underlying funds? Do you understand how this can significantly affect the net return you see on your portfolio over the long-term? Are you locked into a charging structure with your current provider for “x” number of years?
Tip: You may be surprised to learn that the price you pay for holding an identical investment product can differ significantly depending on which financial adviser you use. Whilst a difference in yearly fees of say, 0.50% p.a. may seem innocuous at outset… it can have a massive impact on the net returns an investor would see over the long-term. Pay special attention to the costs of the product and underlying funds, as the last thing an investor wants is to be achieving a good gross return but seeing half of it swallowed up in fees.
Communication: Have you had conversations with your adviser on the 3 points already mentioned above? Are you kept updated on a regular basis? Do you find it easy to contact your adviser and/or investment provider?
Tip: Transparency and regular contact are key factors in establishing and maintaining an effective client/ adviser relationship. Having one point of contact and knowing who you are dealing with lends itself to building a solid relationship based on a firm level of trust.
At Logic, we pride ourselves on our award-winning client service and as a family-run business, our clients know who they are dealing with at all times. We regularly run client portfolio reviews and can help clients understand the risks and costs associated with their investments, ensuring they are in the most appropriate position to achieve their financial ambitions.

Non Residents Income Tax Returns Due Soon!
Calling all Spanish property owners – non residents income tax returns have to be submitted soon!
Anyone who purchased a Spanish property in 2023 or before and is not a Spanish tax resident will be due to submit their annual non residents income tax return before 31.12.2024.
What is the Non residents income tax?
Known in Spanish as the Impuesto sobre la renta de no Residentes. In effect it is a tax on individuals who own a property in Spain and is payable even though there is no income!
If you spend more than 183 days a year in Spain between 1 January and 31 December then you are generally considered a Spanish tax resident and this tax does not apply to you.
How is this tax calculated?
This tax is based on the estimated income of 1.1% of the properties cadastral value (or 2% if the cadastral value has not been subject to revision or modification since 01.01.1994) and the applicable tax rate is 19% for EU citizens and 24% for non EU citizens. You can see the catastral values from your invoice from the Town Hall for annual rates.
The tax payable varies on whether or not the property is rented and an income is being obtained. If you have rented your property then you will be obliged to submit annual returns and pay tax on the income. EU tax residents can deduct the proportional costs involved in the rental such as professional management services, water, electric, insurance and community fees, whereas Non EU tax residents cannot deduct these costs. We can assist you with the annual Non Residents Income tax return and require the following documents in order to submit it:
•Copy of owner(s) passport(s)
•Copy of owner(s) N.I.E(s)
•Copy of escritura or a land search
•Copy of Town Hall Rates (known as IBI)
•If rented, details of income and rental costs incurred
If you would like assistance with the non residents income tax return, please email enquiries@mylawyerinspain.com or call us.

Festive sweets in Spain
Tuck into turrón
Article by Sarah Farrell - www.sarahswritestuff.com
For centuries, the people of Jijona and Alicante have used what their land offers them. Thanks to an abundance of almond trees and local honey, they are able to make many varieties of delicious turrón, which is similar to nougat. Look out for the ones marked turrón de Jijona and turrón de Alicante as they are simply the best. They’re packed with almonds and sweetened with honey and sugar. Jijona is known as the birthplace of turrón and you can visit the factories to see the sweets being made and sample some of the finished products. All major supermarkets sell them and you can buy hard or soft varieties in different flavours, including chocolate. A firm favourite is turrón de Jijona 1880.
Savour Valor chocolate
The pretty town of Villajoyosa is where you’ll find the Valor chocolate museum. You can pop in to find out how the chocolate is made and about its lengthy history - Valor has been going since 1881. The taste is sublime, thanks to the quality of the cocoa beans.
A selection box of Valor chocolates is a great way to sample some of the different flavours, including almonds, orange, figs and vanilla. For a winter warmer, try the Valor hot chocolate which is incredibly thick and pairs wonderfully with churros. You can also buy the chocolates online or in the Valor shops - there are ones in Dénia, Benidorm and Alicante as well as Villajoyosa.
Powdery polvorones
Polvorones comes from polvo, the Spanish word for powder, and with good reason. These crumbly biscuits turn to dust in your mouth. They’re delicious with an afterdinner coffee.
The king of cakes
Roscón de Reyes is the traditional cake to celebrate Three Kings Day, so it's a great excuse to keep on enjoying sweet treats into January! You can make your own cake, which is a flavoured sweet bread as you can then choose your favourite ingredients to add to the mix such as orange, cinnamon or a dash of rum. In the shape of a ring, the cake also has a special surprise of a small figurine - a king or the baby Jesus - and a dried bean. Whoever finds the figurine in their slice will have good luck. If you find the dried bean, tradition says you have to pay for the cake.
Renovating in Costa Blanca? Avoid the Headaches with These 5 Expert Tips
Dreaming of a sunny renovation but worried about local red tape and budget surprises? Here’s your guide to a smooth (and dare we say, enjoyable) renovation journey with 4D Builders.
Thinking of transforming your Costa Blanca casa? Whether it's a cosy update or a dream expansion, renovating as an expat in Spain comes with its quirks. As a trusted family-run renovation company, 4D Builders knows the ropes and is here to make your project easy, efficient, and even fun! Follow our five expert tips to dodge common pitfalls and create the home you’ve been envisioning.
1.Define Your Dream & Budget Realistically
Every successful renovation starts with a clear vision - what’s your goal? Extra space, a modern update, or solar-friendly efficiency? Setting these priorities early keeps you from facing the dreaded “Oops, we forgot the budget!” shock later. To cover surprises, add a 15-20% buffer for unexpected costs, like discovering your beautiful new kitchen warrants a new electrical system too. Need some guidance? Our project managers can help balance dreams with practicality.
2.The Spanish Permit Tango
Yes, you need permits, or licences - even in Spain! It can be a bit of a dance. For Costa Blanca renovations, the ‘Obra Menor’ and ‘Obra Mayor’ licence will cover most projects, with costs varying by municipality.
Consider hidden extras: Additional costs may include fees for technical reports, inspections, and in some cases, a municipal tax known as the Impuesto sobre Construcciones, Instalaciones y Obras (ICIO). This tax is typically 3% to 5% of the project's total cost.
Not a fan of Spanish paperwork? We’ve got you covered. At 4D Builders, we can handle all of this, cutting through the red tape to keep your project stress-free and ensuring your renovation project, or build is legally compliant at every stage. Please note, however, in some Marina Alta towns you can wait up to 12 months for an Obra Mayor to be grantedso prepare for more of a waltz than a tango, but we’ll stay on top of helping it along.
3.Watch Out for the Classic Traps
Skipping permits, hiring unlicensed contractors who will proceed without licences (at YOUR risk!), or assuming timelines won’t shift... these are the classic renovation mistakes. Please don’t fall for them. Always verify your contractors, allow flexibility, and keep communication open, within reason they do have a job to do. And when something doesn’t go exactly to plan (it’s a renovation, after all, previous bad wiring, faulty pipework, mould and even termites can crop up), a sense of humour goes a long way! At 4D Builders, we’re here to manage these hiccups, so you can keep smiling through the process.
4.Go Green (and Save Some Green Too!)
From solar panels to energy-efficient insulation, ‘going green’ not only saves on bills but also boosts your home’s comfort.
Solar Panels: Can reduce your energy bills by up to 70%.
Smart Home Tech: Automate and control your home’s energy use from your phone.
Efficient Insulation: Proper insulation cuts down heating costs because when it rains here, it pours down. We know lots of clever tricks to make your renovation efficient and sustainable.
5.Choose a Contractor Who ‘Gets It’
Your contractor should be reliable, experienced, and upfront with estimated pricing and timelines. At 4D Builders, we offer all this plus a dedicated Project Manager for every stage of the project to ensure quality and peace of mind.

Smile Spa
Dr. Carolyn Carbasse has created hundreds of smiles using the latest generation in veneers. At Zen Smile Spa we will listen to your hopes and fears and will give you a smile that will exceed all expectations.
Porcelain veneers are like false fingernails - a small amount of material is taken off the surface of the tooth and a 'fingernail' of ceramic is then fitted over the tooth.
Veneers are used to improve the aesthetic appearance of the teeth, to eliminate the gaps between the teeth or make short teeth longer, because the ceramic matches the teeth they look completely natural.
One simple veneer will be sufficient to change the colour of a discoloured front tooth but if several teeth are out of line or there is a gap between front teeth, several veneers can also be fitted over the teeth.
If you are happy with the shape and alignment of your teeth then one of the simplest, quickest and most effective ways to improve the appearance of your smile is with teeth whitening. At our practice, we offer both in-surgery and take-home whitening treatments.
DR CAROLYN CARBASSE

Director of Zen Smile Spa by C.C.
As we age, tooth whitening may not be sufficient to improve the appearance of yellowing, chipped teeth but veneers can revitalise the texture, shape and colour of tired looking teeth thus creating a whiter, brighter and younger smile. They are often used as a rapid alternative instead of moving misaligned or rotated teeth with orthodontic treatments.
Don’t shy away from your smile any longer, take action and restore your smile’s youthful lustre in just 3 weeks. Please call us to get that smile you’ve always dreamed of.

Why has composite bonding become popular?
With the latest generation of dental materials, it is amazing what we can do to restore scruffy looking, chipped, worn front teeth, and also worn down back teeth that have lost their enamel covering.
Composite bonding gives you the ability to improve the appearance of the front teeth fast, often in only 1-2 appointments. Improvements in dental materials mean that dentists can now closely match the appearance of natural teeth, or those that have been whitened, with the correct shape and shade. Unlike porcelain veneers or crowns, composite bonding does not usually involve any removal of healthy tooth tissue, and the treatment can often be carried out painlessly without injections. Is it also an affordable way to enhance your natural smile. How does this work?
Consultation
We examine the teeth and discuss the options, concerns, risks and benefits of treatment. Treatment
Once the surface of the tooth is appropriately prepared using minimal techniques normally without anaesthetic, then etched and bonded agent is applied to the teeth. Composite resin is then sculpted on to your tooth surface then light cured, trimmed and polished to a high sheen. The bite is checked and adjusted during this process so that it is comfortable and even.
Aftercare
Follow home care advice to maintain your new smiles which may require some maintenance or polishing in future, due to wear and tear in the same way as the natural teeth did over the years. If necessary, the step onto veneers or crowns can be an option in the future, but repairs are simple and quick if they become necessary.
If your teeth are looking worn or less than optimum, Clinica Dental La Plaza is the answer, so why not come and see if you are suitable for this technique.

Favourite Christmas markets in Spain
If you're looking for a traditional or handcrafted Christmas gift, then the special festive markets are the places to look. Valencia has several markets, including a craft market in the Plaza de la Reina, which is ideal for artisanal goods, and an impressive market in the City of Arts and Sciences with a range of handmade artisanal products and food trucks.
You can always treat yourself to a long weekend away, if you fancy visiting the markets a little further from home, such as: Madrid's main square, Plaza Mayor, is transformed into a Christmas wonderland, with more than 100 stalls selling festive goodies—from decorations to nativity scenes—and offering great gift ideas.
The birthplace of Cervantes, the lovely little town of Alcala de Henares is about 40 kilometres from Madrid, so you could combine it with a trip to the capital city. Plaza de Cervantes hosts the Christmas market, which features plenty of stalls, festival lights, a huge Christmas tree, and an old-fashioned carousel for the kids.
Why not sail over to Mallorca on the ferry from Dénia to get into the Christmas spirit? Palma de Mallorca's Christmas fair is held in the noble streets in and around Plaza Mayor, Plaza de España and La Rambla. Again, you'll find a lovely selection of stalls selling everything from Christmas tree decorations to ceramics and jewellery.
If Christmas lights delight you, head north to the lovely Galician city of Vigo, which spends months putting up millions of lights to illuminate around 420 streets and squares. This year, it is also expected to put up the tallest Christmas tree in the world, standing at around 50 metres high. Around 100 food and craft stalls make up the traditional Christmas market - with all those lights, you can’t miss it!
FAST Action Saves Lives
Recognising the early signs of a stroke is crucial because immediate action can save lives and reduce long-term damage. Strokes occur when blood flow to the brain is interrupted, either by a clot (ischemic stroke) or a burst blood vessel (haemorrhagic stroke). Here are key warning signs and the necessary steps to take if they occur.
Warning Signs of a Stroke
The acronym FAST is an effective way to remember the primary symptoms:
•Face: One side of the face droops or feels numb. A lopsided smile can be an indicator.
•Arms: Sudden weakness or numbness in one arm, often with difficulty raising it.
•Speech: Slurred speech, confusion, or trouble understanding others.
•Time: If any of these signs are present, time is critical—seek emergency help immediately.
Other symptoms may include sudden vision problems, severe headache without a known cause, dizziness, and difficulty walking or maintaining balance.
Immediate Actions to Take
If you notice any of these symptoms, it’s crucial to call emergency services right away. Every minute counts, as brain cells die quickly without oxygen. Avoid driving the person to the hospital yourself; paramedics can begin life-saving treatment on the way. While waiting, try to keep the person calm, monitor their symptoms, and note the time of onset to inform medical staff.
Prompt medical intervention, such as clot-busting drugs, can significantly reduce the impact of a stroke if administered quickly. Recognising the warning signs and acting fast can be lifesaving and limit long-term effects, emphasising the importance of stroke awareness.
Join our Private 24/7 Emergency Ambulance Service, covering all of Costa Blanca North, including inland areas. In a medical emergency like a stroke, heart attack, or accident, quick response time is critical. Avoid delays with state services, our ambulances are equipped with lifesaving gear and staffed by trained paramedics. As a member, simply call with your membership number, and our GPS system will guide the nearest ambulance directly to you, even if your location isn’t on Google Maps. Don’t wait—sign up today for peace of mind and fast, professional care when you need it most.

Good Quality Grass? Cheap Grass?
Two things I recently heard about.
My business partner went to visit someone he knew and when he was entering the property he saw that this person had laid artificial grass. In my business partner's opinion it was bad artificial grass. As someone who handles grass every day, knows our product and what it's capable of, he has a pretty good understanding of what is good or bad quality grass.
Unfortunately he may have ended up offending the person he knew as when he went in assuming the grass was cheap and maybe put down by the previous owner he instantly said, “You could do with replacing that grass” only to find out the person had only laid the grass not that long ago and had brought it from the UK, where it had cost him quite a lot of money. The client had been told this was a top-quality grass. Needless to say, after not wanting to put his foot in his mouth anymore my business partner did say “that grass shouldn’t look that bad after such a short time”.
We always tell our clients that our grass is the best etc. Another salesperson will say the same, so I understand it can be a difficult thing to choose and who to trust. All I can say to counter anything like that is the fact that numerous (quite a lot) of our existing clients have had us back to do more work for them, not change grass but add more grass. This has sometimes been within a month or so, 3 years even up to 9 years after doing the original work. As far as I’m concerned that speaks volumes about our work as a company and the product we sell. We aren’t a 'here today gone tomorrow' type company we have been proudly supplying the area for nearly 20 years. And that’s the point, we want to keep selling our product, meaning it must look good, and keep looking good otherwise we won’t be in business anymore. It's not just about us, our long-term grass manufacturer has been supplying us with faultless products over the years allowing a great and trustful relationship. On another side note we recently saw someone on social media requesting where they could buy cheap grass. Why would anyone want to buy cheap grass? I understand from a budget point of view of course, and many people were saying visit a certain large retailer, but speak to the professionals as we have a large range of grasses available, pound for pound, adding up delivery costs, material costs and then including a professional installation service, our prices are cheaper and our product is still better. When thinking about grass you have to look at the full picture, all the costs involved and not just the cost of a cheap grass.
So, speak with us first and you might be surprised. All that remains for me to say is Goodbye 2024, (I can’t believe it) and Hello 2025, I hope everyone has a Happy Christmas and a Happy New Year.

After a year full of activities we wish you peace and joy at Christmas.
Yet again the European Union of Women Marina Alta played its part on the week of 25N, raising awareness of the Violence against Women, not only on the streets of Benitachell but in Jávea and Teulada as well, with our fellow women's organisations. Let's stop this violence now! The week of 25N was the culmination of a year of incredible activity by EUWMA including the spectacular Art Exhibition at DAR. But now, we are busy looking to the future! Our Annual Meeting will be on 5 February at Flo's restaurant, Jávea. Put the date in your diaries and watch this space for other exciting changes. We know that the equality of women is in huge need of support, so we intend to work hard in 2025 toward effecting small but important changes. Do join us in that journey. Meanwhile, we wish you a wondrous Christmas and a New Year filled with peace and happiness. We look forward to seeing you in the New Year.

Each year "The Lions" publish its annual calendar, and 2025 calendars are now available to buy at 7 euros from the Lions Den charity shop in Moraira. The calendar features great photos of local Moraira scenes, which proved so popular in last years calendar that it was decided to follow this same theme, with different photos in this years calendar. They really are stunning photos! This year due to the horrendous flood disasters in Valencia, all proceeds from the sale of calendars will be donated to the Valencia flood relief fund!

Best places for a family Christmas break
If you're stuck for Christmas gift ideas for your family, why not treat them to a festive break instead? The memories will live forever! As well as visiting places such as Palma de Mallorca or Madrid for their fabulous Christmas markets, there are many places in Spain which are perfect for a winter break. Grand parade in Alcoy
One of the oldest Three Kings Parades is held in Alcoy. Dating from 1885, or thereabouts, it brings thousands of visitors to the historic city. On January 5, excitement builds as the Three Kings arrive with a huge entourage. This colourful parade is so impressive it has been declared a Fiesta of National Touristic Interest. More than 1,000 people take part in the parade in and around the Plaza de España, including musicians and dancing groups. The fun ends with fireworks and the rousing Handel's Messiah.
Let there be snow
The little principality of Andorra, in the Pyrenees between France and Spain, is perfect if you want to see snow at Christmas. Up until Christmas Eve, the little ones can also visit Father Christmas in traditional mountain huts or in some of the ski resorts. Andorra has more than 300 kilometres of slopes for skiing or you could try out the zip wire, go sledging or build an igloo.
Dazzling displays in Malaga
Malaga pulls out all the stops at Christmas with festive lights, and an amazing light and sound show. For the past couple of years, 16 huge angels lit up Calle Larios street. And this year's display promises to be equally as dazzling. The light and sound show takes place in the evenings until January 6, apart from on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve. Other city streets have plenty of lights as well as giant trees and Christmas chandeliers. You may need to pack your sunglasses!

The Calpe Benissa Lions would like to thank everyone who helped raise funds for us in 2024. Those that donated to our shop, those loyal customers who buy from our shop, and those who have collaborated in fund raising events. We have had bumpers sales in our charity shop on Calle Pintor Sorolla, 15, Calpe, and along with our fund raising events we have been able to aid the local community more than ever. Our main objective now is to help those who have suffered terribly in the floods in Valencia. We are proud to say that our Lions International Club has asked Lions Clubs worldwide to contribute to helping rebuild Valencia.
We hope to see you at the El Canor Antiques Fair on the 6th of December, organised by Sue and Paul Horey. We would like to thank all our customers for their support throughout 2024, and invite them to come to our shop on Saturday the 14th of December, to have a glass of delicious mulled wine and a mince pie, and also sing some Christmas Carols. Kenny Corris brings you
Aries: With Mars, your planetary ruler, in retrograde this month it’s time to greatly simplify your life by looking after yourself for a change. It’s been an uphill struggle but now ambition and drive take you into a festive season to remember!
Taurus: Venus enters into Aquarius in the beneficial tenth house. A time to ring the changes and pitch new ideas as you raise the level on celebrations and plan the good times for a wonderful ending of an eventful and fruitful year.
Gemini: The New Moon in Sagittarius shines a light on new beginnings regarding contracts and partnership issues. What has happened recently has acted as a heartfelt wake up call, and your chosen responses mean everything.
Cancer: Love, a new relationship and a kick start to a dormant project are all aligning to an exciting set of changes. Hidden matters are there to be dealt with but you have to do more than just scratch the surface.
Leo: The Full Moon in Gemini reacts to a square on Saturn. Be sure that what you get right now is really what you want. With two major planets now in retrograde you will have to slow down to speed up, when the time comes!
Virgo: Saturn in the ninth house and Jupiter in the twelfth form a square this month. Saturn is as constricting as Jupiter is prospering but the end result is not conflicting, it’s a time to eliminate fear and just go for whatever it is!
OUR OROSCOPE
Libra: The Full Moon in the first house of self is security and determination will work wonders if a project is going to get that green light. A square on Neptune could be a spanner in the works, but it’s just going to make some subtle changes.
Scorpio: Romance is in the air as Venus, planet of love and desire, enters the eleventh house of a dreamy Aquarius. Don’t miss an event or any social gathering and have a fabulous Christmas party season too.
Sagittarius: As the base of the Mercury retrograde you are getting more clarity and focus and they combine to bring you a decisive result. There is no going back, no reason to hide, but you are about to make changes very much for the better.
Capricorn: A passionate energy comes from the entry of Mars in retrograde into Leo, as Saturn forms a hard angle that touches on your heart. Something is coming out of the blue. You will not be disappointed, for sure!
Aquarius: Teaming up with Venus you finally get to have your say and an acknowledgment to boot! This is an emotional time, but now you have to make new memories, and this month they are to be shared.
Pisces: Neptune usually brings about internal conflicts but you are not stressed, more wanting to move on to pastures new. This is in no way running away, and it seems the right thing for you to do now. Go for it!!

MOFTAG BREAKS THE BARRIERS ONCE AGAIN AT THEIR CHRISTMAS FAYRE!
Tensions mounted on Saturday 16th November as the MOFTAG members set up for their annual Christmas Fayre in Calpe. Would the weather hold up for their event? Would they be able to exceed their previous record sales from May? Well yes on both accounts! The sun shone at Pub Delfin as people poured in to buy things and try their luck at the raffle and various other games.
At the end of the day the total amount raised was 3318.00€, all of which goes to support local charities in Calpe. MOFTAG has also donated €500 to the Valencia Flood funds before the Fayre took place.
Once again we can only achieve this with the loyal support of Pub Delfin for hosting the event and of course the members of the Calpe community who come along, not to mention local businesses who regularly donate prizes for our Raffle.
All in all this is a Calpe community event and MOFTAG is proud to have the support of everyone especially their members who work so very hard for these fayres twice a year.
Apart from their charity work MOFTAG also runs a full social programme for their members each week. If you would like to know more about this please contact the President, Jenny Godfrey on 639 139 518.
