The Aquatic Hub

The Aquatic Hub represents a holistic approach towards water leisure activities and physical wellness as well. A place where Water Activity is more concerned by providing different type of pools such as indoor pool, outdoor pool, cold bath, hot bath and many more. The Aim was to propose and design an Aquatic hub for a people of port Adelaide. Which can be act as activity and leisure spot for locals and for the Athletes too. Encouraging the water activity can boost the value of swim play and relax. This project can hold facilities which cater to indoor and outdoor pools and recreational activities for the youth of Port Adelaide Area. Moreover, my very initial approach towards this project is to analyze Marine and Harbours building itself and it depicts its straight geometry, symmetric volume, rectangular window and brutal facade as well. just following the similar approach to stretching out the lines from building and took this thing further to dig more and to understand and explore more about its rhythm and architecture language.

Furthermore, after analyzing the existing building creates such volumes through the different exercise and combined them with existing building gives me series of different type of volumes offering qualitative spaces. Having different type of pools provides both spatial and atmospheric change. Also, some space is enclosed with the wall punctured with the gentle shapes which allows light to get in and people to view the outside.

Outdoor terrace pool faces the city and especially dock one provides an unobstructed panoramic view. Also, gives people the sense and unique experience of bathing at the higher point. While kids are having pool on the ground level with landscape area to focus on the transparency for
