STRIBILD is a complete single-tablet regimen and should not be used with other HIV-1 medicines. STRIBILD does not cure HIV-1 infection or AIDS. To control HIV-1 infection and decrease HIV-related illnesses you must keep taking STRIBILD. Ask your healthcare provider if you have questions about how to reduce the risk of passing HIV-1 to others. Always practice safer sex and use condoms to lower the chance of sexual contact with body fluids. Never reuse or share needles or other items that have body fluids on them.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION What is the most important information I should know about STRIBILD?

• Worsening of hepatitis B (HBV) infection. If you also have HBV and stop taking STRIBILD, your hepatitis may suddenly get worse. • Build-up of an acid in your blood (lactic acidosis), which is a serious medical emergency. Symptoms of lactic acidosis include feeling very weak or tired, unusual (not normal) muscle pain, trouble breathing, stomach pain with nausea or vomiting, feeling cold especially in your arms and legs, feeling dizzy or lightheaded, and/or a fast or irregular heartbeat.

• New or worse kidney problems, including kidney failure. Your healthcare provider should do regular blood and urine tests to check your kidneys before and during treatment with STRIBILD. If you develop kidney problems, your healthcare provider may tell you to stop taking STRIBILD.

• Serious liver problems. The liver may become large (hepatomegaly) and fatty (steatosis). Symptoms of liver problems include your skin or the white part of your eyes turns yellow (jaundice), dark “tea-colored” urine, light-colored bowel movements (stools), loss of appetite for several days or longer, nausea, and/or stomach pain. • You may be more likely to get lactic acidosis or serious liver problems if you are female, very overweight (obese), or have been taking STRIBILD for a long time. In some cases, these serious conditions have led to death. Call your healthcare provider right away if you have any symptoms of these conditions.

• Bone problems, including bone pain or bones getting soft or thin, which may lead to fractures. Your healthcare provider may do tests to check your bones. • Changes in body fat can happen in people taking HIV-1 medicines. • Changes in your immune system. Your immune system may get stronger and begin to fight infections. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any new symptoms after you start taking STRIBILD. The most common side effects of STRIBILD include nausea and diarrhea. Tell your healthcare provider if you have any side effects that bother you or don’t go away.

What should I tell my healthcare provider before taking STRIBILD? • All your health problems. Be sure to tell your healthcare provider if you have or had any kidney, bone, or liver problems, including hepatitis virus infection. • All the medicines you take, including prescription and nonprescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements. STRIBILD may affect the way other medicines work, and other medicines may affect how STRIBILD works. Keep a list of all your medicines and show it to your healthcare provider and pharmacist. Do not start any new medicines while taking STRIBILD without first talking with your healthcare provider. • If you take hormone-based birth control (pills, patches, rings, shots, etc). • If you take antacids. Tell your healthcare provider if you become pregnant while taking STRIBILD. • If you are breastfeeding (nursing) or plan to breastfeed. Do not breastfeed. HIV-1 can be passed to the baby in breast milk. Also, some medicines in STRIBILD can pass into breast milk, and it is not known if this can harm the baby.

You are encouraged to report negative side effects of prescription drugs to the FDA. Visit www.fda.gov/medwatch, or call 1-800-FDA-1088. Please see Brief Summary of full Prescribing Information with important warnings on the following pages.

Core Exercises For Sexy Abs

FENUXE.COM : 13

1

JUMP ROPE

Jumping rope for 10 minutes is a great way to get your heart pumping and start your workout. Try to jump Only 1 to 2 inches off the floor, giving the rope just enough space to slip under your feet — only the balls of feet should touch the floor. Keep your elbows close to your side as you turn the rope. The movement comes from the wrists and forearms, not the shoulders.

2

The L Sit

Get between some parallel bars and using a firm grip, push your body off the ground, locking your elbows as if you’re in a dip exercise. Keep your shoulders down as you lock your knees and hold your legs together tightly, forming a 90-degree angle with your torso. Your legs should be parallel to the ground. Now hold…and hold…keep going.

14: January 2, 2015

Always check with your doctor before starting any exercise routine

3

RUSSIAN TWIST

Get a dumbbell or a medicine ball and sit on the floor with your knees and hips bent 90 degrees. Hold the weight straight out in front of you and keep your back straight (your torso should be at about 45 degrees to the floor). Explosively twist your torso as far as you can to the left [1], and then reverse the motion, twisting as far as you can to the right [2]. That’s one rep, do 3 sets of 8-12 at the end of your workout.

4

STANDING TURKISH LIFTS

Lie flat on the ground or on a mat with your right knee bent, right foot flat on the floor, right arm holding a weight or kettlebell above you, and left arm and left leg at your side. Drive through your right foot and straighten left arm, using it as a post to drive hips straight up. Pull left leg underneath and behind body, move torso straight up, then lunge to a stand. Reverse the sequence to descend. Do all your reps on one side. Repeat on other side. Keep chest up and watch the weight the entire time. Reps: 3 (each side)

5

HEAVY ROPE WORKOUT

There are many awesome heavy rope exercises to ramp up your cardio and build strength in your core. Common movements include whips, throws, waves, slams, and spirals. All involve swinging your arms up and down (or side to side) in some manner for timed intervals. To maximize your workout, maintain the intensity of the motion from start to finish, no matter how much it burns. Start out doing 3 sets of 30-second intervals with 45 seconds of rest in between. As you get stronger increase the duration of the move and decrease your rest times. With each of these exercises, you want to create a solid base by planting your feet in a shoulder width stance and stabilizing your core. You’ll quickly discover that these exercises engage not just your arms and shoulders, but your whole body.

18: January 2, 2015

6

AB ROLLER

These are great for getting flat abs. Kneel on the floor with your feet resting on the ground. Place the ab wheel on the floor about a foot in front of you. Keep your arms straight as you roll forward until your chest almost touches the floor. Contract your abs and bring the wheel back up to start. Complete two sets of 10 to 12 reps if you are a beginner; two sets of 15 to 20 reps for intermediate to advanced users. Tip: If you are a beginner, only roll out as far as your core will allow. To increase the intensity during kneeling exercises, bring your feet off the floor.

hey girl hey

Holler Poodles! Girls, I am so did!! I had heard Best Buy and Walmark had a very generous return policy for Christmas and went to return my Sony Walkman I had gotten for Xmas back in 1988. They had the nerve to ask me for a receipt! Now how am I supposed to find a receipt from that far back. I asked to speak to the manager but he threatened me and asked me to leave the premises. That’s why I accidentally on purpose busted a shopping cart into his car. I mean really, where has customer service gone these day. Isn’t the customer always right? Next I went over to Mickey D’s to get a value meal. Now damn, I know I’m not the most petite girl out there but this little dude behind the counter asked me if I wanted to upsize my order? I was defended! Of course I wanted to upsize!! I am a size 53EFG and I can’t keep up my showgirl size by eating small portions. I asked to speak to his manager and when the dude came over, I think he knew not to come between me and a meal cause he comped my meal and dessert. [It could also have been the fact I had not shaved for sometime and my ladybeard was starting to show] Now, thats what I’m talking about. Finally, some customer service. Finally, I had headed on over to the K-Mark cause they was having a special on blue lights. Now, I don’t know about you but I ain’t seen naer a one of them blue lights. I asked to speak to the manager and he looked at me like I was crazy. He said the blue lights was for special items. I started to think he had a problem with drag queens and he was trying to give me the run around so I felt the need to show my ass a little. He said “Ma’am, please pull up your pants and depends undergarments… Your ass is showing!” I replied, you can kiss my ass on the pink and not the stink. Imagine a manager acting that way. In other news, I was just promoted to manager at the beauty shop. I’d love for you to come in and see me but don’t bring me no problems. I’m a manager and I don’t deal with no bs!

Love and lashes poodles!

Gay News At A Glance by dustin shrader

Gaylard, The Gay Monger Another homophobic pastor is making the headlines. Gaylard Williams, an Indiana man, was arrested and charged with battery for allegedly groping a young male recently. (Cue the jokes, innuendos, puns and eye rolls here.) The Praise Cathedral Church of God pastor is said to have approached a 27-year-old man sitting in his car and “grabbed and squeezed” the man’s private parts. Just wait, it only gets better. Good Gaylard also requested oral sex from the young buck. While following up, local authorities found gay pornography in the pastor’s car. Is anyone surprised? Before his arrest, the hypocrite pastor was widely known as an outspoken homophobe, regularly preaching to his congregation and followers how sinful homosexuality is. When asked about Gaylard’s arrest and behavior, a deacon from his church stated, “He’s said that he’s not perfect and that only Jesus Christ was the only perfect person to walk the earth and he was crucified.” What a lovely and Godly way, no less, to use the death of Jesus Christ. Gaylard’s church must be so proud.

Starting Fires Instead of Stopping Them In case you missed it, local Atlanta Fire Rescue Department Chief Kelvin J Cochran is on a month long suspension without pay following complaints from some of his employees regarding the content of his self-published religious book. In his book, Cochran claims that “homosexuality” and “lesbianism” are a “sexual perversion” morally equivalent to “pederasty” and “bestiality.” City Spokeswoman Anne Torres spoke to Channel 2 stating, “We understand that he was distributing books to other employees. We are still not sure what the circumstances surrounding them are. Bottom line is that [Mayor Kasim] Reed administration does not tolerate discrimination of any kind.” Cochran has yet to release a statement explaining his need for writing and publishing the paperback book. GA Voice took the liberty of highlighting some of the disturbing passages—“Uncleanness—whatever is opposite of purity; including sodomy, homosexuality, lesbianism, pederasty, bestiality, all other forms of sexual perversion.” Cochran also wrote that “naked men refuse to give in, so they pursue sexual fulfillment through multiple partners, with the opposite sex, the same sex and sex outside of marriage and many other vile, vulgar and inappropriate ways which defile their body-temple and dishonor God.” While the investigation is still ongoing, it is unclear if Cochran will face further disciplinary action. 40: January 2, 2015

Seriously, TLC? TLC is really shooting in the dark with this one. Set to debut this month, the network is planning to air a reality special titled, My Husband’s Not Gay. Yes, you read that right. Evidently, this genius show follows four Mormon men who hail from Salt Lake City. Three are married to women while one is currently courting a female. Yet, despite their present love interests notwithstanding, all four men claim they are still attracted to men. In the promo, one “confused” guy says, “I’m attracted to my wife, for sure, and I am definitely attracted to men.” The full trailer further sheds light, exploring the hardships of the men as they struggle to resolve their sexual orientations’ misperceptions. The unmarried one of the four puts it like this, “I like to say I’ve chosen an alternative to an alternative lifestyle. I want to marry a woman but I don’t know how to work out these feelings.” Naturally, being from a Mormon state, religion is at play when delving into the daily lives of all four couples. As if, the LGBT community doesn’t already battle the doubts and fear from naysayers, but we have to add stuff like this to fire? But who knows, maybe, this show will aid in the education of the uneducated haters? My Husband’s Not Gay airs Jan. 11.

LeBuzz Bids Farewell It is time to say goodbye to one of Atlanta’s most treasured gay hangouts—LeBuzz officially closed its doors on Dec. 31. After over 18 years in business, the drag show favorite sung its swan song and sashayed away with all the glitz and glam everyone knew and loved. LeBuzz has been rocking and rolling since 1996. Over the years, the club has seen three significant changes in ownership; however, none may have been as prominent and glorifying as when Michael Gaeta and Jonathon Murphy took the reins, kicking one of Georgia’s largest gay nightclubs

into high gear. The boys gave the cabaret bar some tlc, growing in size to comfortably accommodate their patrons. Anyone who went to LeBuzz knew how welcoming the friendly staff was. Everyone was guaranteed to get a hug, a smile, the best shows, music and a party the likes you would never forget. Sadly, the losses LeBuzz has faced in 2014 were far too great to keep the club going. Despite working their hands to the bone and exhausting every possible effort and resource imaginable, Gaeta and Murphy succumbed to a heartbreaking decision. In an open letter penned for all family, friends and regulars, Gaeta and Murphy write, “We do not want to focus on the obvious negatives. As owners for the last almost 18 years, our lives have truly been enriched by the experience. There are so many of you that met, dated, got married and celebrated anniversaries and birthdays with us. Of course there have been break ups too, and no shortage of drama. We have made so many friends, seen so many crazy wonderful nights and enjoyed such fantastic performances by a vast and diverse group of entertainers. We will always have those memories with all of you.”

Fitting for the final send-off, Lebuzz toasted the New Year in style; complete with a fabulously fanciful and extravagant show by the one and only Divas Cabaret and a bouquet of special guests. The night was hosted by Destiny Brooks, starring Heather Daniels, Iysis Dupree and Kitty Love Antoinette. Champagne poured, music vibrated the walls, memories came alive and laughter filled the air. “I’ve been going for years. It was my home bar, where anyone and everyone was welcomed with open arms. No matter whom you were.” Sentiments such as these by Hillary White, a die-hard regular, were of the many reminisced as the tears flowed over the bartenders’ signature drinks, waiting for the clock to strike midnight, igniting the fresh dawn of a new beginning and the solemn sunset on a beloved chapter deemed to be remembered indefinitely. Glasses raised and hearts full, Gaeta and Murphy say goodbye. “Thank you so much for helping us live our dreams, for helping us raise a family that embraces and advocates diversity, and for spending your precious time with us while we shared a conversation, a laugh, a dance or a cocktail. Thank you for your business, kindness and as always, your support.”

From The Good Wife to Marvel

Mike Colter will no longer just be known as the drug lord on CBS’s The Good Wife. Colter has been tapped to play Luke Cage in Marvel’s AKA Jessica Jones on Netflix. According to Melissa Rosenberg, Jessica Jones’s executive producer, “Mike embodies the strength, edge and depth of Luke Cage. We’re excited to have him bring this iconic Marvel character to life.” Jessica Jones follows the title character, a former superhero who gives up her world-saving days after a traumatic experience, only then to become a private investigator. While solving a case, Jessica encounters Luke Cage, “a man whose past has secrets that will dramatically alter Jessica in ways she could never have imagined.” Jessica Jones is one of several comic book shows set to premiere on Netflix in 2015. Iron Fist, Luke Cage and The Defenders are all in the works.

Who knew method acting could be so kinky? Hunky Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan really knows how to commit to a role. So what does one do when preparing to take on the alter ego of a dominant S&M lover? Visit a sex dungeon, of course! In Elle’s upcoming February issue the Irish actor opens up about how far he had to go to get into the psyche of a fetish-loving masochist. On what it is like to enter a BDSM dungeon, Dornan says, “I went there, they offered me a beer, and they did… whatever they were into. I saw a dominant with one of his two submissives. I was like come on guys. I know I am not paying for this but I am expecting a show.” So are we, Jamie. So are we. Fifty Shades of Grey hits thaters everywhere on Valentine’s Day, 2015.

Healthy News Update

Tom Brokaw has good news of his own to share. The 74-year old reporter recently revealed his cancer was in remission. Back in February the NBC Correspondent admitted he had been diagnosed with multiple myeloma in August 2013. (Multiple myeloma is a rare form of cancer that affects blood cells in the bone marrow.) After undergoing treatment for a year, Brokow is officially free of cancer for the time being. In a penned letter to his “NBC Family,” Tom stated, “A year ago, my future was more uncertain than I cared to acknowledge but now I face the New Year with very encouraging news. The cancer is in remission and I will shortly go on a drug maintenance regimen to keep it there.” Three cheers to former NBC Nightly News anchor! Tom is an accomplished journalist who has been showered with many accolades and triumphs over the years. Here’s hoping many more are coming for the beloved Mr. Brokaw. 42: January 2, 2015

American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson

Looks like David Schwimmer is falling down the Kardashian-rabbit hole. The former Friends star just booked his latest gig playing the reality sisters’ late father. Schwimmer will take on the role of O.J. Simpson’s former attorney in the upcoming new FX mini-series, American Crime Story. He will star opposite Cuba Gooding Jr. (who will play Simpson) and Sarah Paulson (who will play prosecutor Marcia Clark) in the first season.
