Rules ANIMA MULTI is the online competition of ANIMA MUNDI, International Animation Festival of Brazil.
Held since the year 2000, the contest is a competition parallel to the festival, that includes animations created or published in the virtual environment, and which can potentially be applied to various medias and platforms; works that distinguish themselves for their format autonomy, where the message withstands screen size and format variations. The contest is open to either new or previously made animated works, produced by professional or amateur animators. Interactive animations, videogame intros, teasers, animation series episodes or pilots and traditional animation shorts can participate in the competition. The important thing is that the piece be able to convey, through the language of animation, a consistent and attractive communication in any kind of media. In order to compete, the submitted pieces should have between 30 seconds and 10 minutes in length. The shortlisted entries will be included in the contest website, to be voted by the audience and the professional jury, through a link to the video that will be provided by the entrant when submitting the entry.
