Our educator, Michael Wilcox, went to Texas to witness the recent Solar Eclipse. On the day of the full eclipse, most of Texas was covered in clouds. They left the area they had planned on trying to see the eclipse - driving for about 2 hours trying to find a beak in the clouds. They finally found a small break that allowed him the opportunity to experience the full eclipse before the clouds again covered the area. It was such a moving experience, he immediately called Fun For Less Tours requesting we put together a future group to witness one of the LONGEST Solar Eclipse that will happen this century.
It will be 84 years before an eclipse will happen this long again. I believe his request was a little self-serving, as he also stated he wanted to be the educator for that group. In 2027 the Moon will cover the sun for almost 6.5 minutes and he wants to be there to witness it AND he wants you to join him. It is too far out at this point to ask those that are interested to make a reservation. Instead we are going to start a First to Know List. A list of those that have expressed an interest to have the first chance to be part of Michael’s Solar Eclipse Trip. If you have ever wanted to experience a complete Solar Eclipse, take the time to read and look through the special attached Solar Eclipse Brochure
The best place in the world to view this special Solar Eclipse is in Luxor Egypt. There is never a forsure, guaranteed location to witness a Solar Eclipse, but Luxor Egypt has a history of the least amount of cloudy skies during the projected date of this special Solar Eclipse. It is not only less, it is substantially less, delivering the best place on earth to witness the full solar eclipse. There will not be another eclipse that will last this long for 84 more years.
After Michael’s call we immediately arranged for a 5 star Nile cruise that will be in Luxor during the time of this once in a lifetime UNIQUE Solar Eclipse. We were almost too late - it was only because of our contacts and relationships with those in Egypt that we were able to take priority over others. Every quality hotel in Luxor is already sold out for groups during the time of the 2027 Solar Eclipse.
With the eclipse being during the summer months in Egypt, it is too hot to do a full Egypt tour, but will be fine to enjoy a Nile Cruise. We are going to put together a few tours in Europe, For example we may put together a Danube Cruise or a Nile Cruise, or a British Isles tour, etc. that would be done first and when it is over, our passengers would then fly from Europe to Luxor for a few days cruise. Our cruise is scheduled to be in Luxor during the perfect time to experience this special eclipse.
Be the first to know and the first to be able to be part of one of our trips in 2027 that will include this special Solar Eclipse. We are creating a first to know list. There are no obligations! We just want to know how many may have a real interest in joining Michael and our owners on a tour or cruise in Europe or maybe an African Safari that will also include a Nile Cruise that will have you in Luxor during this special Solar Eclipse.
IF you have a real interest in possibly participating with us and Michael in 2027 on a tour or cruise that will also include a Nile Cruise - just respond to this email and let us know you want to be put on the first to know list. 2027 is far away, none of us knows what the future brings between now and then. When we are about 1.5 years before the solar eclipse date, we will contact the first to know list. They, along with any friends and family traveling with them, will be given the first opportunity to sign up for the tour or cruise of their choice that will include the Nile cruise. After we have filled our space with those that were on the “First to Know” list - if and that is a big “IF” we have any space left, we will open it to others. If you feel there is a reasonable chance you would like to experience the best Solar Eclipse in this century, then immediately respond to this email brochure putting your name on the list of those that want to be part of the “First to Know”
Over the next few pages we are listing possible tours or cruises we are considering that we would tie to our Nile Cruise Solar Eclipse Date.
