AMERICAN HISTORY TOUR

20 day cruise/tour - ????? ??, 2026 with Dr. Michael Wilcox

250th Birthday

NEXT YEAR, the United States will commemorate its 250th Birthday, or Semiquincentennial Celebration.

The Declaration of Independence was signed in 1776, 2026 will officially be our nations 250th Birthday! The journey toward this historic milestone is an opportunity to pause and reflect on our nation’s past, honor the contributions of all Americans, and look ahead toward the future for the next generation and beyond. It is also an opportunity to look at the history of how it all began.

The Declaration of Independence is why we have the nation we do. The founders of America had a vision of independence and liberty that has affected all of us. Every American should honor 2026, giving thanks and celebrating everything our founders fought for to create a nation we all live in today.

What better way to celebrate and remember our founding fathers, the creation of the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the war for freedom, than an American History Tour! Come spend two weeks with American History scholars Michael Wilcox and Jeff Lawson.

Michael Wilcox and Jeff Lawson - Both have a passion for American History. In fact, it was Michael that called us last year, asking us to put together a special American History Tour that he and Jeff would take in 2026. We all decided the summers are too hot and with all the celebrations, Washington DC will be too crowded during the summer. That is why Michael and Jeff wanted to start near the first of September when the crowds will be less and the heat doesn’t melt the sidewalks.
