This was our first chance to create a tour that includes the very best Italy has to offer. Usually we have to hurry through Italy so we can get to a Greece cruise. Your going to love Italy like we do after you experience all that it has to offer. We have slowed it down and brought you some very wonderful additions not included in our past tours of Italy.
They include:
• The Italian Alps: You will experience some of the most beautiful mountains in the world. • San Marino: Located on a mountain, surrounded completely by Italy, is the tiny country of San Marino. • Cinque Terre on the Italian Riviera: There are 5 villages along the Italian Riviera that are hard to get to without a boat. We have chartered our own boat for the day so we can enjoy the beauty from the sea and also enter the ports to explore. • High-Speed Train ride from Florence to Naples: A 7 hour bus drive is turned into a little over a 2 hour high-speed train ride. • The costal town of Sorrento: The drive to Sorrento is beautifully fantastic and it will take your breath away. You will also enjoy the old town of Sorrento. • Pompeii: You have all heard about it, on this trip you will be able to explore the old town destroyed by a volcano.

• Rome: We will enjoy all that Rome has to offer including fantastic fountains, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, Vatican City, the Vatican Museum, The Sistine Chapel, the new Rome Temple and so much more. • Florence: Visit the Academy Museum with the real statue of David, explore the old section of Florence along with its fantastic history. • Pisa: With its leaning tower. • San Gimignano: A wonderful Tuscan old city with ancient tower fortresses. Before we had to cancel all of our 2020 Passion Play Tours and Cruises, we had 12 groups scheduled on Romantic Danube Cruises that included Oberammergau and its Passion Play. In comparison, we had 4 Rhine River Groups that included Oberammergau and its Passion Play. The Romantic Danube includes so many great cities and places to visit: • Prague, Czech Republic: Has over 1,000 years of history. It competes as one of the top cities in Europe to visit. The massive Prague Castle, along with Prague’s many unique bridges over the Vitava River and its old town that is a UNESCO World Heritage Site will be a huge highlight. • Salzburg, Austria: A beautiful picturesque city with its massive Hohensalzburg Fortress high above the rooftops of the historic district. It is the biggest fully preserved castle in Central Europe. Add the “Sound of Music”, Wolfgang Mozart, along with the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town and you have a city that needs to be at the top of your bucket list. • Munich, Germany: The old town with its impressive Marienplatz square, has been the center of Munich since the 12th century. Another beautiful city with so much to see and experience. One of the biggest highlights will be viewing the city after dark on the Danube River as the whole city lights up. • Oberammergau, Germany: Simply put – this is the highlight of highlights in 2022 with its once in a lifetime Passion Play. We made our reservations for our 4-Star Deluxe Hotels and for the BEST seating for the Passion Play in 2016. With the postponement of the Passion Play from 2020 to 2022, our special reservations were kept in place for 2022!
