7 day tour - June 3, 2024 with Dr. Michael Wilcox
Approximately three weeks ago the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and the Community of Christ Leaders in a joint statement – announced the sale and purchase of the Kirtland Temple. In addition to the Kirtland Temple, this landmark agreement includes the Smith Family Homestead, the Mansion House, the Nauvoo House and the Red Brick Store. Numerous other historic sites and important documents were also involved in the purchase. With our company offering LDS Church History Tours each year, there have been many phone calls and interest in wanting us to put together a special tour that would spend more time and education related to these sites. On our regular Church History Tours, we only have about 1 day of visiting each of these areas. Our goal is to spend 2.5 to 3 days in each area. As most of our teaching will be on-site or near the sites, we have decided to keep our groups small. This will be a ONE-BUS tour. This will be much more than a tour inside the new structures given by the LDS missionaries, there will be a wealth of education and stories given by your educator Michael Wilcox, before and after entering these sites.

He is a fantastic educator. Michael has taken well over a dozen tour groups to Kirtland and Nauvoo, teaching at all of the sites.
