That’s why a number of our Carleton graduate programs are highly collaborative, bringing together experts and students from a variety of areas, including cutting across faculties. International Students Carleton is home to many international graduate students who chose to attend Canada’s Capital University making Carleton a distinctly international university. Carleton students represent more than 160 different countries. There are many resources that can help international students at all stages of their academic journey, including the International Student Services Office (ISSO). The ISSO staff is dedicated to helping international and exchange students adjust to life in Canada and to helping them get the most out of their student experience. carleton.ca/isso

Providing information and support from authorized immigration advisors for student applications to Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada. Providing international students with the opportunity to connect with fellow students for support in navigating the transition to Canada through the Global PALS program.
Organizing the I-Start Orientation program that helps new international students with their transition to Carleton. Admission Requirements Our master’s programs typically require a four-year honours bachelor’s degree, with a B+ or higher in your major subjects and B- or higher overall. Our PhD programs typically require a master’s degree, with B+ or better in your courses (including your thesis) and no grade below a B.
